Wow a speculated 180 million dollar app? Progressive web apps? im not really a techqie person i dont even know this term but the promises it gives stands out compare to apple store and google store app. If they can deliver what they promise users would definitely have this on their phones.
Being First in the industry a platform that uses blockchain plus the benefits PWA can give to the users, i can speculate that this token would reach potential and deserved value.
An app store being implemented on blockchain industry is indeed a new thing, and the transactions involved would be slightly different because it would now involve crypto currencies. For crypto users, they would probably try it, but how are they gonna encourage those who are not into crypto?
I think if they partner up with OEM, there's a great possibility of patronage since it would be built in. Also, in case the apps available in the app store are free, then definitely users would feel that there would be no harm in buying or installing those apps.
Partnering with OEM would be great if it is a big and well sold brand, and more OEM would actually be better. I agree that people usually patronize free apps over apps with fees, like most social media apps and practical educational apps.
It would be a great idea since it would be multi-platform, for them to partner up with many OEM so that many devices would already have them and possibility of users trying them out. Having it already installed in the system would make users try it.
Having the yappadappadoo app store already installed in the system would encourage users to try it, and if the apps inside are free and worth it, we can expect patronage. Having partnerships with OEM companies would really be a great thing.
I think an partnership with OEM is essential for the success of this project since their tag line is "Bringing Revolutionary Multi-Platform Apps To All Users", and being multi platform, they can expect better market reach if the products people buy already has it.
Also, if they have partnership with OEM, we can expect that they have product tests and that they have tried and tested the apps multi platform functionality and that it performs well across all platforms.
If they are able to partner up with a big OEM and with many OEMs, then it would really be revolutionary since their app store is installed in many devices, and the apps available would probably be patronized.
I looked that up on the whitepaper and saw that it was part of the SWOT as opportunity, it is a great opportunity and I hope that they would be able to get partnership with device manufacturers and have them as their app store.
This is what is said about OEM partnerships in the whitepaper:
Quote
Device manufacturers Mobile phone, tablet and other device manufacturers offer exceptional potential for publicising the yappadappadoo Store. With one stroke, we can potentially increase market penetration in a very significant way. In order to attract OEMs to participate in our bootstrap strategy we will consider broad-reaching partnerships with individual rewards for the number of devices with the yappadappadoo App Store pre-installed, revenue participation for sales and in-app purchases, etc.
For app stores, OEM partnership is really a great method for marketing since it increases visibility of the product. The question for this platform is that it currently a "potential" so when will they tell us that they made it?

Re: [ANN] [ICO] TrustLogics : Blockchain For Trusted And Secured Professional Data
I get the other money making parts like the verification part and referral part but how will the reputation building system work? Whta does the users need to do? Will they just need to write up regarding someone else's schools and training even though they don't know about it?
I think it might work like up vote or like or something like that, and it seems that each profile has some kind of percentage in it so those with high percentage have better profiles, sort of.
Will it be trustworthy then? If the school or training institution is really good, then there would be no problem building its reputation and building the reputation of the applicant. Is that how it works?
I'm not sure hot it really works but it probably means you just have to build the applicant's reputation and get paid by it, probably. Not sure how that could help an applicant since the application should speak for itself.
Hmmm, its a good question actually. They used to say all about security and privacy pattern but we do not understand how reputation building works. If it is percentage based giving it is not accurate and may be got the idea of percent on how the school was rated by the past reviews of the reviewers. For me as an suggestion make a picture verification for the platform to check if the paper is correct and check if it was legit.
It says algorithm stuff on the whitepaper, but what about the actual building of the reputation, how does that part work out? I'm not sure if it would become an effective hiring tool.
It's more of a tool for the applicant and not for the recruiter since it will be the applicant that would have to pay. The applicant has to pay for his information to be verified, then also if he wants to up his profile, this reputation building thing.
So for the employers, the only time they would pay is when there is a job opening and they do the peer to peer thing, that's quite incovenient for the applicant since he's looking for a job to earn money.
I'm wondering how it worked before, since the platform was already functional before and seemingly successful from before, did they have the same functions as paying for peer to peer hiring process, and also paying for information verification and also reputation building?
Maybe the only change they added here was implementing the payment system on blockchain. Maybe it worked the same way, that the Indian applicants pay fot their information to be verified and for their education and training to be built up.

Re: ❇️YAPPADAPPADOO -❇️Bringing Revolutionary Multi-Platform Apps To All Users
Hmmmm can be use offline? i wonder how you gonna be able to enjoy such app normally apps with offline service gives limited access also , i hope this one is different.
you have a point normally offline apps only gives limited version of the application. but i believe trustlogic would change their concept about this idea of offline app.
i hope so. Have you seen their website? its quite not appealing for me , comparing to google appstore its still far in terms of first impression.
Being online seems a necessity now and most of the apps used are practically online. I think they won't really focus on the offline functions since it definitely would be limited.
The main advantage of PWA is saving storage space, faster loading of app, and competitive user experience. The offline functionality is just a plus, so don't expect much on that.
When we really understand the principle of offline functionality, we will really appreciate it. Offline functionality doesn't work only when offline. They also work even the application goes online. But with this kind of functionality, booting up an application will be faster because the data was already saved in the cache.
Currently, we see offline functionality in social media like you can still post even when you go offline, or simply continue reading what has been loaded on your screen, as well as functions that we don't see like syncing updates once you go online.
Offline PWA would be different, in case there will be fully offline apps available in this platform. Online apps with offline functionalities would be another thing, then those which can only function while online.
I hope that this platform could achieve diversity in the applications available inside, and that many applications would become available in it, as well as the applications available become progressive and innovative.
Service workers and caching gives the application the ability to still function even while offline, but these functions are limited as there is probably a maximum amount of space that they can consume depending on device and storage conditions.
I think PWA is not about offline functionality, but offline functionality as well. The main selling point of PWA is better low storage yet better user experience, and I think user experience is what makes apps successful.

Re: ❇️YAPPADAPPADOO -❇️Bringing Revolutionary Multi-Platform Apps To All Users
As what I've read on their whitepaper, 2.6 page 12 it says that the yappadaappadoo application will become number 3 app store in the whole world. I slightly don't agree with this statement because what I think is that when this project will be launched, it will be the number 1 app store in the world, because the convenience of the app is greater than those popular app store right now. just sayin.
I admire your positivity towards the yappadaappadoo project, anyway, this project will surely reach the top, but I think it would take much time, as we all know, the yappadaappadoo project isn't yet launched, and if ever it will be, it takes time to gain popularity since it is not yet well known in the society.
That would be awesome but I think number 3 would be much more realistic. Apple app store and Google play store are probably now starting to implement apps on PWA so, this will just be an additional competition.
Even without yappadappadoo app store, PWA is already being implemented in so many apps worldwide. I believe all those apps will have more patronage and engagement. They should seize this opportunity of rise in PWA popularity and launch their app store as soon as they can.

Re: ❇️YAPPADAPPADOO -❇️Bringing Revolutionary Multi-Platform Apps To All Users
I'm interested on how they will be developing the suite since that's where the new apps are gonna be made. If it is really PWA, the apps can be made without using the suite since creating simple web apps can be done easily enough through online materials.
The suite should contain templates especially if it's going to be mainly games. Developers won't be encouraged in using the suite if it would just be the same as starting from scratch since they probably can do it on their own.
Everything about PWA is available on the web since web app developers are assisted by developer groups like google. They should design the suite better so that developers and those who want to try to create their own web apps would use it.
There should be a differentiation between using the suite, using xcodes stuff and using whatever you can use from the internet. If all things needed to create a web app is on the internet, the suite should have all of it.
The yappadappadoo suite would definitely be one of the main factors for this projects success since that is where the apps will come from. If they are able to make it better and easier to use, it would be patronized.
Yes, I agree. The Yappadappadoo Suite that they are going to offer should be uncomplicated and satisfactory to use so app developers won't go anywhere else. This way they will be patronized and may even be recommended to other app developers.
I just read that Apple will start rejecting apps which used templates. I'm not sure if it's a good thing but I think that would discourage those who want to try and create their own simple applications.
For an established app store like Apple, they don't need beginners or those who don't really think much about their app. If an app developer creates an app using templates, there's a possibility of being similar to other apps with the same template.
Well, templates are really beginner stuff, but what is the effect of removing it? Not sure if there will be templates in this new PWA app creator but I hope the apps that you can create in it are useful apps.

Re: [ANN] [ICO] TrustLogics : Blockchain For Trusted And Secured Professional Data
Is your TrustLogics Android and IOS app available on every country??
I'm not sure if their Android and IOS app was available on every country, but as far as I know based on what I have read on their whitepaper it is a hiring project wherein you can apply national and internationally based. For me maybe it is available on every country.
Well maybe since is referred to blockchain technology its will sure that the market of thrustlogics betwwen jobseeker will not limited on other country instead it will also unlimited to other country ,offered job hiring all over in the world,,for just in cased unemployment rate will decreased in the whole world.
That could be a yes but I don't think i is since they would have to have set up a local team in each country they are targeting since it involves data collection and verification.
It's easy to develop the app and make it available worldwide since they are already established, the question is how about the processes that would be involved in the hiring process? And also the verification process?
There are explanations in the whitepaper but I think they should have made it easier to understand and much more simple for normal people. You have to read it multiple times to get it but the explanations are there.

Work is hard what trustlogics is doing, But really appreciable work done by TrustLogics Team. Great job !!!
Such Beautiful words keep us motivated to do something extraordinary work for society. TrustLogics is really thankful that we have supporters like you.
We are also very thankful for having this opportunity trust logic this might be the solution to lessen the unemployment people in our society and in fact we all want this to happen also. As we all know we can also get benefits from it and I know this project has a potential to be successful in the near future, that's why we're looking forward for more updates and we are also encouraging more people to support this project.
The potential for this project's success is very high because their ideas are well presented, and also since the platform is based on an already existing project which has been a success.
I believe this project will be successful as well. If it was successful before, why will it not be successful this time? It's easier to implement the project because they already have experienced launching it and maintaining it.
If it's about potential, yes it is high but we won't know how it will all turn out since we are still in the middle of it. Their experience gives guarantee to the investors that they know what they are doing.
Investors will be encouraged because they will see that this is not like other projects where developers don't really have an existing platform yet.

Re: ❇️YAPPADAPPADOO -❇️Bringing Revolutionary Multi-Platform Apps To All Users
Such great and amusing project. This kind of project is really helpful. Just imagine an app store that is versatile which you can use for both IOS and Android. I've seen it as a big help especially for those IOS user who can't really get the app they wanted. And also the payment transaction in purchasing an app is lot easier because it's connected to blockchain technology.
So its possible to use yappadappadoo apps to Android and IOS with no compatibility issues? Or maybe they'll have an agreement to each other so user's can use yappadappadoo application to their Android and IOS devices? I hope for the best result on this matter...
There will be compatibility issues, I believe. PWA means progressive web application, so, web application in the basic. These are applications or platforms that you can run simply by using a web browser. The issue would be between Safari and Chrome or other browsers.
It's really just the Safari issue since it's the odd one, and that's just for the PWAs since most web apps enable you to use them on either operating systems and browsers like online editors and converters.
I think the problem would be with regards to the offline features since saving a "PWA" is like saving a webpage on your computer. In Safari, they said the steps would be to save the "link" into the home screen.
Saving a webpage to your desktop really would consume less space than installing an application, but the features would probably be limited and better functionality would be experienced when using it online.
I think that depends on what the app needs. PWA has already been used in existing apps and has shown successful implementation, including trivago:
Quote
This app can be used in the Internet browser, requires no App Store download and works even in offline mode. The advanced technology that comes with Progressive Web Apps provides a smoother user experience, as Progressive Web Apps have a much faster loading time (less than three seconds) and are kept up-to-date. For Trivago customers, this means they can easily make their searches and bookings without fear of a possible crash (as with a native app). It supports the link on the home screen of your smartphone to locate and use the web app immediately. With this link, you do not have to search for the Trivago website in your mobile browser, but can start planning your trip right away.
yappadappadoo-Suite to develop PWA's quickly and economically.
We'll find out if it's developer friendly as other app creators.
Wait for it then? I think this one should come first because where will the apps come from if the suite is not developed first? The suite should be the one prioritized since it needs to be able to provide ease of creation of apps to developers. It's an app store so, more apps, more sales, probably.
I agree. The suite would be the one to come first because that's where the applications would come from. It's a store, so, the grand opening of the store should have a lot of merchandise inside.
I think I read somewhere that they will be launching the store first before the suite. I don't think that would be a big issue or problem though. For me, it makes no difference if the store or the suite comes first.
I agree. Them launching the store first and offering currently existing apps or basic apps would be great since we know that the platform is already working and possibly already earning if it is launched first.
That's actually a great idea. If they launched the platform first and are able to actually make profit out of it, then this project will surely be a success. Any ICO with an already existing fully functional platform is a big green for investors.
An existing usable platform, compared to a simple MVP, would definitely seem more trustworthy and has more chances of gaining support from the community and investors.
We can only wait and see how this whole plan will turn out. Their roadmap is clear enough. Let's hope that they will be able to follow all of it without delay.
They probably won't be able to release a functional platform yet. They will probably be releasing an MVP if requested but it's more practical for them to release the real app store to the market for me.
Well, according to the roadmap, there will beta version available in the 2nd quarter, we just don't know if it will be released to the public or will it be to limited users only. They won't be releasing an MVP since beta version is more developed than MVP.
They should release either of those so that we can see what they were able to as of now. Investors would be more inclined in the project if they see that it's developers are keen on creating the actual platform.
Can't wait ot ry the apps available on this new platform! I think they should, too, but I don't think it's easy to actually create an app store, so, we'll just have to wait.
Their roadmap is simple enough and easy to understand. Will it really be India then Spain and then China? Why is that?

Re: ❇️YAPPADAPPADOO -❇️Bringing Revolutionary Multi-Platform Apps To All Users
Just to confirm: YAPPADAPPADOO will be an apps store whose apps will be PWA exclusive?(PWA equals web app, meaning no native apps available?)
Web apps are literally apps accessible on the web using chrome, firefox, safari, etc. It would be like saving the webpage kind of thing that's why there is no download or install nor much space needed. Safari/iOS is not yet fully PWA compatible and slightly difficult to "install". Will they address this issue?
Well, "native apps" are usually accessible through their website i.e. they have an online platform accessible through web browsers e.g. Facebook, Twitter, etc. In case this will be a PWA store, then that will be what the store would offer, probably.
For me, it would still be native apps vs. PWA. Native apps will still have a lot of features(Facebook) compared to PWA, I think. PWA is new and will probably need a lot more development before rivaling native apps.
Well, reading their whitepaper, yes it seems it would be PWA exclusive. So native apps will have to have their own PWA compatible platform to make them compatible with this apps store.

Re: ❇️YAPPADAPPADOO -❇️Bringing Revolutionary Multi-Platform Apps To All Users
I've read so many positive sides on using Progressive Web Apps. Let's have now disadvantages of using it? Do native apps have capabilities that PWAs doesn't have? If a user switch on using PWAs rather than native apps, does PWA can be a native app like with notifications, badges, led indicator?
In my understanding in PWA it is ready to use, it can work in apps and in any android phone too. Also can operate smartphones and tablets with the same look and feel like
as native apps in accordance to their WP and its allows to use camera, microphone and messaging too, this what I knew about it.
I'm not really sure if these are disadvantages since these are just needed for the app to actually work offline and actually will make user experience better but initially, it would consume either the same or more data volume upon initial download since it would be downloading all necessary files for the offline functions. Depending on the application, it would consume data volume and possibility of consuming more storage as well.
PWA is innovation, it's improvement in the existing technology. There's no disadvantage to the end user really since the apps will just be the same, but you could also use them offline now.
I think there will be some problems with regards to developing since it's something new, there might be problems with developers in implementing PWA codes and actually making the app to work, or once the app has been launched there will be new bugs. I don't think that's a disadvantage though, it's part of the process for all new technology or technological improvements.

Re: [ANN] [ICO] TrustLogics : Blockchain For Trusted And Secured Professional Data
This project is really amazing. With so much feature that solve the employment problems both on applicant and employer. I don't know how can this be implemented immediately, but I am looking forward to this project to succeed.
I see and read on the first couple of pages of this thread that the platform is officially running and have some applicants on their platform but it is only on their local are on INDIA. They said that they are planning to implement the platform worldwide so anyone can use it and find a job through their platform.
You can access their platform on their official website or by downloading their application on an appstore/Googleplaystore.
Quote
The TrustLogicsTM platform (which has a patent pending) is a cloud-hosted, SOA-based (Service Oriented Architecture) system and has a provision to create two different types of user profiles Recruiter and Jobseeker. Services operate depending on the type of user, the user-defined permissions, and/or platform defaults. The platforms public beta phase was launched in December, 2017. The web and mobile apps (Android & iOS) are also available and can be accessed by visiting the official website or by downloading from the App/Play Store.
Woaaah! so the beta platform has been up since 2017 this is good it means that the project is running smoothly and I think they have the guts to success! This will be the new linkedin in the making! Good Luck to the developer and the team behind Trustlogic !
The platform is running smoothly in India. Global implementation is a different thing. It would be much more difficult and I believe some countries with high education and employment rate have no need to use it. There is great potential for global use but they should focus on countries where it would be really useful/where there will be many prospective users(employers and jobseekers).
yes trustlogic system would probably not work in all countries but the important thing is they will be able to help some people wherein their system is applicable. I also don't expect some high end companies to work with trust logics as they would probably prefer hiring and verifying data on their own.
I think there is a possibility of high end companies trying the system since many of those high end companies also have extremely high demand for FTEs and are currently using almost all job sites in existence other than their own platforms.
