Re: how long will everyone can wait?

Since january we all experience the red down lines
everyone experience this how long can you still hold your coins
and still hope for the best , are we waiting for another 3 years to reach the top
or we are now heading back to upward lines

No one can actually predict what will happen next in crypto. Crypto market is full of surprise. Just like last year, no body expected that bitcoin price will reach $20000 before the price starts falling down. There's nothing we can do but to wait for the market to start recovering again and be patient.

Re: Is investing on ICOs still profitable?
by

on 14/11/2018, 21:51:09 UTC
Hello everyone, I have seen many failed projects recently. I have received many emails regarding investing on ICOs, so is it still a good time to invest? I didn't made good with my earlier investments. Is there still a future for ERC-20 tokens?

It can still be profitable, however, take note that most ICO had slowed down on their development since most of them had started when the market was at it's peak. Most money that they have got went down in fiat value, that is why some ICO are still holding on and taking their time slowly in project development.

Re: Is the fear of crypto-currencies legit?
by

People are increasingly getting scared to invest in Bitcoin and other virtual currencies out of fear of getting scammed. Should they be?

It is, everyone would be afraid of investing since a lot of people had already lost a lot of money this year. However, I think this will change once crypto starts another bull-run. Maybe, that is also one of the reasons why most ICO failed this year.

Hey guys, what do you prefer, hold till the end or trading? I know that people who are holding are actually saving crypto from total fall. But is it profitable to hold?

Well, if you believe in crypto and it's long-term potential, you better hold and be patient. Crypto currency is not yet fully grown and not everyone is aware of crypto yet. The market cap can grow massively once mass adaptation happens.

Re: Do you buy not top 100 alts?

Hey guys, do you buy altcoins which are not top 100 of Coinmarketcap? Isn’t it risky to invest in them? Want to hear your opinion!

There are over thousands of altcoins, and even shit coins can be profitable. It actually depends on your purpose, if you are investing for a short-term purpose or not. Some coins are just pumped that is why they are profitable, and there are a lot of altcoins that are in the coinmarketcap that can still be profitable.

Re: ETH: is destined to be $2500 by October to December 2018!

"Ethereum is great and very Innovative altcoin in crypto-space today and i'm very positive about the $2500 mark value in the last quarter of 2018 and its almost 5 months left and counting so we better buy and HODL now like I do, Ethereum will dominate the growth in coinmarket capitalization second only to bitcoin.

Ethereum is one of the best and widely used platform by most trusted altcoins. That is why it is trusted not just by developers, but also traders and investors. Ethereum will keep on improving and will be worth more than what it is today in the future.

ETH TO 100$ Soon, Sell now.

Let's hope that it will not happen. However, for readers to believe your speculation, you should have put a proof of it, or else you are just spreading FUD. Only beginners with weak hands would believe posts that has no proof here in this forum.

Do you recommend investing in Ethereum rather than bitcoin for holding now ? Or Bitcoin should be first ?

If you have a huge capital, why not split it on ethereum and bitcoin. Both are really good for long-term investment. And, take note that this is the best time to buy since the prices are cheaper compared last year.

BE CAREFUL WITH GREEN

Many know this but rarely can do.
Normally, green represents growth and red represents price decrease. But to me, it is the opposite. I have witnessed quite a few cases in which investors buy a green coin, like TRON (TRX) or Siacoin (SC), then lose their money. You should know that when the coin turn green, it is just some leftover or a rat trap. Like Siacoin, will you earn 800% more after it has already increased 800%?

DO NOT PANIC WHEN YOU SEE RED

Only be afraid and panic if your coin is a shitcoin. Shitcoin will sooner or later die even when it once green for a long period.
If your coin is solid coins, the red will soon leave and it is meaningless to panic. Those solid coins have survived long enough to have a future in this market and won’t die easily. Otherwise, they have a solid foundation of strong team member and potential project. If those are your case, don’t worry.

Ethereum and Bitcoin have also gone through those red and green days and still be here to grow. Be patient and have a long vision (6 months to 20 years). The rise or fall in short term does not mean anything.

I totally agree with this, not because the coin is green it doesn't mean it will keep on growing in price. Especially during the bear market, most people are waiting for some coin to green before they sell. That is why those who buy during that time losses their money.

Re: Cryptocurrency to be Taught in Schools?
by
shinchan123
on 13/11/2018, 15:41:16 UTC
Hi guys!
I'm pretty sure that many of you have been experiencing difficulty on making other people aware of cryptocurrency and how it works, right? I myself find it hard to explain it even to my own family. Once you mention it to them, the first thing that comes to their mind is that it's a scam. Can't blame them though because the news about crypto scams are always hyped in social media and believe me, even my 70 year old mom has Facebook!

Anyway, I realized that this is the case because there has never really been any formal education about it at all. We knew about it only thru word of the mouth right and we only got to learn it slowly thru experience. This said, I'm thinking, what if it's taught in schools? Perhaps just start with those taking Accountancy or Banking and Finance courses to begin with, then eventually incorporate it to Mathematics subject or whatever in High School? After all, they were able to do that with banking, right? Why not with cryptocurrency? What do you think?

Well, if crypto currency will be used by everyone in the future. I think self awareness is really needed. However, for it to be part of the school curriculum, crypto currency should be first be approved by the government, which is we all we know not happening today.

Re: I think 2017 was the best Year for Crypto
by

on 11/11/2018, 20:17:29 UTC
As we know that, During the Nov 17 - Mar 18 The price of Crypto was too good I mean End of 2017 and start of 2018 is the best year of crypto. Whats your opinion?

It's almost the end of 2018 and nothing is happening to the market. We still have one more month before the year ends, so all we can do is just see and wait what might happen in the market volume before the year ends. A lot of people had lost a lot of money this year, let's hope that the beginning of 2019 will be fruitful to all of us.

I want to hear other people's opinion if you would trust celebrities endorsing cryptocurrencies.

You can actually just join the hype for profit. I personally do not trust celebrities endorsing crypto since most of them are just paid to promote. It still depends of you think the project is realistic and will bring you good profit in the long-run.

Re: Have you been scammed? or almost?
by
shinchan123
on 11/11/2018, 19:38:09 UTC
I almost got scammed on twitter by a fake account. Scammers are setting up fake accounts pretending to be other people/ICO's/Tokens. It's very tricky if you are not paying attention. Make sure you check spelling on all names to be correct. Be careful who you give your info to. Even if it's just your email address. Scammers will not stop scamming so watch out and pay close attention to what you are signing up for. Good Luck everyone and be safe!

When I was a newbie, I kept on joining airdrops since it is free. Then, I have joined one airdrop where there is link to MEW (phishing) then I lost most of my tokens. From then on, I have learned to book mark websites and avoid clicking links.

Hey guys, where do you store your tokens? On your ethereum wallet or on an exchange, or maybe you store your tokens somewhere else? Give me some recommendations, where my tokens will be in complete safety?

I store my bitcoin on our trusted local wallet, since it is easier for us to cash out our crypto there. For my altcoins, I store some of it on MEW, and some on my ledger. I have learned my lesson to secure my assets on a secured wallet.

11 months of decline.. who's ready for some positive headway  Cool

Daddy needs a new pair of shoes!!

It's possible, since most people have their money from their Christmas bonus. Let's hope that people will start buying crypto again before the year ends. It had been painful for most people in crypto since the beginning of the year.

I'm looking to invest in a trustworthy Altcoin with a good team and project that I can hold for 1 years. Do you have any suggestions for what I should invest in and why?

If you are planning to hold an altcoin for a long-term plan, you should probably invest in altcoin that is on the top of the market cap. This altcoins are already trusted by investors and have massive trading volume.

Re: KYC as a Scam
by
shinchan123
on 11/11/2018, 16:12:53 UTC
There are a lot of projects that need an KYC of course it is a good idea also to protect their project so that they will know who's dealing with them. But there are some projects that starting from beginning they don't have an KYC required but when it come to the time that they need to distribute the stakes of bounty hunters they are asking for KYC,if the bounty hunter can not comply this where is their stake goes?if the project require an KYC they must announce it from the beginning not in distribution time.

I think you are right, KYC procedure should be announced as early as the bounty starts so that bounty hunters are aware about it. Not all bounty hunters are willing to go through KYC procedure. I know that KYC is sometimes done to abide to some law or regulations, however, it should be announced early.

Re: Best exchange for a new crypto investor?
by
shinchan123
on 10/11/2018, 19:45:13 UTC
Hey all!

I'm fairly new to the crypto world and was looking some info about exchanges and which ones might be the best for newcomers like me. I stumbled upon this podcast which seems helpful - http://cryptoandblockchaintalk.com/episode-11-crypto-exchanges-for-new-investors
But looking to hear your opinions as well. Where do you trade and what are your recommendations?

Thanks
Willy

I think if you are a newbie, you should stay away from new exchange sites since most of them still has a problem on their system. Sometimes withdrawals or deposits are delayed. Just stick to trusted exchange sites, since there are huge trade volume there.

Re: Can I still get wealthy through Bitcoin?
by
shinchan123
on 10/11/2018, 17:57:59 UTC
Bitcoin and the blockchain have been presented as the future for a decade now, and it turned many of those who found out about it early into millionaires.  Some rank these two as the greatest inventions of this century: cryptocurrencies, of which Bitcoin is only one, and blockchain, the record-keeping technology that underpins it. Is the prediction of bitcoin's strong future coming true within the next few years? Is it too late to have a chance in getting wealthy through Bitcoin?

No it isn't. If you have that kind of mentality you will most likely lose your chance to get wealthy. Being skeptical and negative is not good. Cryptocurrency and block chain technology brought a lot of opportunities to people and businesses to grow more.

Re: If the stocks market will crash again like 2008, what will happen to bitcoin
by

If the stocks market will crash again like 2008, what will happen to bitcoin?
I personally think that people will take their money out and will invest it somewhere else.

Do you think that bitcoin will be a good alternative?

If the stocks market will crash again same as what happened last 2008 I doubt if it will have the same effect as it was before. Cryptocurrency will not be a good alternative for stock market investors because of the market volatility. I guess what happened before was just a mere coincidence.
