I tried a bit more. On litecoinpool it works and the diff is sent correctly to the getwork miners. But i need to be able to set difficulty below one since that equals 65536 which is a bit high.
--set pxy:diff= works and it sets the diff correctly i.e --set pxy:diff=8192 gives diffculty 8192 (in scrypt) to the miners but i wont work on vardiff.
Ghash.io doesnt transmit the difficulty to the getwork miners so i need to set it manually but it doesnt work very well.

I have the python source code for the miner. Would it be possible to convert and add it to bfgminer? It uses serial communication to the chips.

Hi, i am having troubles with my alcheminer scrypt miner when using bfgminer as a getwork to stratum proxy (also as a stratum to stratum proxy). My problem is that bfgminer send difficulty 0 to my miner.
Is there a way to fix it? Is the fault in my miner or is BFGminer sending difficulty in some strange way?

Hi all, i am working with alchemist to get their alcheminer scrypt miner to work on clevermining. The miner is built on slush0 Python milning proxy. Which version av stratum pool is clevermining running on. I get errors like msg id 3 and 5 and ned to debug it. I have gotten it to work on wemineltc and ghash ltc without errors and stable.

Some more stats from wemineltc:
Since: 2015/3/11 13:56:54, accepted / rejected: 3523 / 271

Now the reject rate is the same as ghash.io has with a locked difficulty. Will try clevermining also.

I did find an easy way to swtich to a backuppool if the stratum proxy fails to connect 10 times. Will try to make two failover pools.
It will be more work to get it to swtich back, but it can be done by restarting the miner och pressing stop and then go.
The backuppools have to be written manually in two files so it wont work from the homepage till i make changes to it.
Will test it tomorrow or on friday hopefully.
