Buying and selling obviously must continue to happen on a regular basis. It's simple economics 101, supply and demand. Unfortunately right now there is a much greater 'supply' (people willing to sell at whatever price is offered) vs the very limited 'demand' (people willing to purchase Coino for the lowest asking price available).

What we need to do is switch that equation so demand is greater then supply. All I'm saying is a good start in doing that is by NOT going to exchanges and selling off your Coino for cheap buy orders. If you must sell then you can still place a HIGH sell order and just wait it out. Call it market manipulation if you want but doing this would increase the price which in turn would increase 'demand'.

Ironically my suggestion is the opposite order, as usually demand would first increase before price, but I don't feel we have the capacity (at least currently) to first increase demand. Not will the current development at least.

At the current buy price why would any of you sell? Yes it may drop much lower but honesty, most will sell now for enough to buy a coffee. At this point, with all the time and energy put in, why would you just throw it a way for practically nothing? I personally would rather have my wallet die and be left with nothing, then sell off now for chicken scraps. If you have decided to give up on this coin then simple stop mining it, keep what you have in your wallet aside, and forget about it. Go ask people what happened to them who 'forgot' about their Bitcoin wallets for two years!

Everyone says that a coin is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it which is technically true. But if you simple stop filling all these low buy orders then buyers will be forced to buy up all the higher sell orders which will bring the price back up. In my opinion it's the owners of Coino that constantly selling off their coin to the next lowest buy order that are driving down the price. Just my 2 cents.

Funny, I knew you would say that! I 100% agree that the Devs should be buying a crap load of votes at Cryptsy and I have no idea why they haven't yet. BUT your response is exactly what I'm talking about how everyone here is always questioning why 'someone else' isn't doing anything and therefore you don't either. Just go and do it yourself! Go buy votes right now and people will hopefully follow suit. If they don't then well, we all lose, but at least you played your part and put in an effort! I already have bought votes, if you do, then hopefully the next person will too. This is my point, we need to stop sitting around waiting for someone else to do what we should be doing ourselves.

I am very surprised that no one here has bought votes at https://www.cryptsy.com/coinvotes  I read a lot of complaining in this thread about the price going down from lack of interest. Don't you know it needs to hit bigger exchanges to generate more interest? That's not the only thing of course and yes, people are helping promoting this coin in other ways for sure. But it NEEDS to hit Cryptsy at least.

I have personally bought the last 100 votes and was planning on buying more, but I see that no one here in this community is willing to chip in. Very disappointing. If 100 of us all bought a measly 0.02 btc worth of votes (like I have already done), we would add 10,000 votes to cryptsy and be at 6th place already. Last time they added 4 coins so just think about it, we would almost be added at that point.

But like 95% of you aren't taking any action and instead sitting back, complaining, and doing nothing but watching this coin die. That's sad, so please I beg you do a little work and give up a little. Bribe Cryptsy and all other exchanges, tell your friends about Coino, stop posting anything negative, and stop selling off your coin for cheap. Please!

Hello, thank you to everyone who has continued to mine coino and keep it alive. I have personally been mining straight coino for over month now.

I want to point out something, Cryptsy is the exchange we need this coin on to get it more active. Not to long ago Cryptsy created their voting page https://www.cryptsy.com/coinvotes/ as I'm sure you all know about this already. Currently we're at 1476 votes which is not even close to the top. You are only allowed 1 vote per account so therefore we can never get to the top unless we use the BRIBE system. You can call it corrupt or unfair, but at the end of the day, those who bribe will come out a head.

Look at ReddCoin right now. It has 6478 votes, but, ONE guy alone bribed them with 1 whole Bitcoin! So 5,000 of the the 6,478 votes are from just one guys bribe. I know it's unfair, but if you owned and exchange would you not put up a coin if people were willing to pay you thousands to do it?

So, If everyone on this forum who really cares about this coin doing well, then all of us should go and send in a bribe to Cryptsy! I'm not talking about 0.0002 BTC to get one vote. I'm talking about forking out a little here. Like I would say try and send in as close to 1000 votes as possible. 100 at a minimum. Like even 100 votes is only 0.02 BTC! I believe this coin will go up in value but getting on Cryptsy is mandatory at this stage.

Please don't be that person that hides and says oh, everyone else will do it so I don't have. Remember if this coin dies, we have NOTHING. So please everyone, pony up and lets get this coin on Cryptsy! 

PS. Thanks to the two people I see who have already sent in bribes totally 0.232 BTC which right there is 1,160 of our 1476 votes! (this is my point)  Oh and I am in the process of sending in mine right now.
