Re: Over 100 million players on Hamster Kombat 🤯

I do think that the project itself is really big and helped many people to get the point of miniapps combined with crypto behind it, but, I don't think it will bring as much as people expect it to do. It's tokenomics are pretty bad regarding the airpdrop and vesting, thus, I'm pretty sceptical about the whole "gamechanger project" thing.

It's definitely not a gamechanger. It's just a promo to TON. But it doesn't require you to invest anything, so I'm tapping hamster from time to time.

Bitcoin is gaining a lot of popularity and there are people considering it as a retirement investment. How good is this?

https://bitcoinics.com/bitcoin-as-a-retirement-bet/

Well, I plan to save at least some BTC for my retirement. I think that it's a great plan, it just has to be not the only investment.

Re: Bitcoin not coin memecoin
by

I have some questions

Will btc continue rising or will drop and fuk everything up

Not coin is it safe to enter this coin now

Does bitcoin effect memecoins on solana or base

In the long term - definitely will continue rising. It's hard to tell what's gonna happen in the short term.

It's safe to enter if you're investing what you can afford to lose and prepare to hold it for a year at least, or more.

And obviously BTC affects the whole crypto market.

I think only the old aged people aren’t aware of the Bitcoins.
Bite me!!! Just WHO THE HELL do you think set the stage for all of today's tech?  Ya know, things like semiconductors, IC's, the internet etc??? Folks like me. I'm 67 and have been in electronics etc. since the early 1970's.

Many folks of ALL AGES are ignorant of technology and frankly I've found that today's youth are scarily ignorant of it in that they blindly share far too much info about their digital lives without a care in the world about it.

That was an interesting answer. Can't disagree with that, awareness about BTC doesn't depend on age and even sex, it's all about a person's curiosity, intelligence, and surroundings.

Re: Bitcoin ETF good or bad?

and it seems that a Spot ETF in Hong Kong will be issued soon.
BTC and Ethereum spot etf's have already been approved in Hong Kong, however, do not expect it to be as big as that of the U.S, so many people do not even know that etf's were recently approved in Hong Kong and i am certain the inflows will be nothing compared to that of that U.S.

Well, it would be not as much as US ETF, but still something. Asia is a big market, and the inflow is still gonna do something.

It's not dead, but it's not in the best position. If nothing changes, most likely it will die with time. It was actually one of my first coins.

TBH, I don't even know BTC's price even in my own currency. And sometimes I'm surprised when I see BTC price in EURO, because at first I think that it's USD.

Re: how do you think meme coinis?

I often see meme coins on various platforms, do they really have potential? I’m not sure about their advantages, can you guys help me explain them?

They have potential, but they have nothing besides hype, fun, and pump potential. And this pump potential depends on hype and luck.

It would help if you told us more about it. What are you planning to do with it? Is it a token? If so, what blockchain do you use?
And just a dumb question, what is the full name of it?

Re: Meme Coin ( $GRIM Reaper )
by
siedemtrzy
on 21/03/2024, 01:49:30 UTC

$GRIM has resurrected from the desire of quality projects, it is time that all the sh*t coins to dissapear.

It is only a matter of time until $GRIM will pass all other meme coins and become the top coin.

Liquidity will be burned and contract renounced. No taxes or other bullshit!

$GRIM is a meme coin with no intrinsic value or expectation of financial return. There is no formal team or roadmap. the coin is completely useless and for entertainment purposes only.

Telegram: https://t.me/grimreapercoin

Twitter: https://twitter.com/grimreaper_coin

Website: https://grimcoin.vip/#tokenomics

Also listed on CoinMarketCap and Coingecko

So essentially just like every other memecoin lol.  I hope you are just trolling, otherwise if people put a single dollar into something like this you need your head checked.  Honestly are other memecoins just blatantly open like this and succeed.  Basically saying this is worthless come on in lol?  Serious question is this a troll or not?

That's not trolling, I've seen other memecoins being promoted like that. It's not uncommon in this space.

Re: Are people still using bitcoin ATMs?
by

I don't have BTC ATMs where I live, but I don't really understand the point of them. Why would you want to use it when you can just buy crypto on an exchange, sitting at home? There are many places where you can easily buy it even if you don't want to do the KYC.

Re: Bitcoin Price Rally Ahead: Tom Lee's Visionary Prediction Foresees $150,000
by
siedemtrzy
on 29/02/2024, 06:16:12 UTC
I don't think $150k is possible by the end of this year. We saw how fast the price of Bitcoin came down from $64k to $61k in just a couple of hours. At the moment it is still hovering around the $61k to $62k price point. If Bitcoin has to reach the $150 price point it needs to first break its ATH. First, we need to wait for that to happen and then only we can look further. Such predictions will become more frequent as Bitcoin keeps on pumping.

Well, it seems like ATH is possible next month. And if we hit ATH before the halving, I suppose it might get a lot higher after it.

Re: What about the lost BTC?
by

“Lost coins only make everyone else’s coins worth slightly more. Think of it as a donation to everyone”
~ Satoshi Nakamoto

/thread
When Satoshi Nakamato was active on the forum the things you mentioned may have been said but now Satoshi Nakamato himself is in hiding and so far his existence has not been ascertained. As many are predicting about Satoshi Nakamato's Wallet Bitcoin if Satoshi Nakamato is not alive on Earth then Satoshi Nakamato's Wallet Bitcoin will be lost forever it will be considered dedicated to everyone.

That's a great donation. I wonder if he's dead or just really doesn't want to use his Bitcoin. I guess we'll never find out.

Re: Best time to buy BTC NOW?
by
siedemtrzy
on 08/02/2024, 08:22:50 UTC
Bitcoin is currently priced at $44k so I guess it’s not the perfect timing to enter the market, but wait for a price correction because it will surely happen after a consistent price surge. However, if you have a good amount of funds that you can afford to lose, then that won’t be a problem anymore. Just stick to bitcoin and do DCA to increase the amount of your hodlings, that way you will come to reap with huge profits when bitcoin bull run takes over the market.

Not perfect, but definitely not the worst. The best time was a year ago when it was below $20k.I think that DCA is a good option right now.

Nah, I wouldn't buy it, thanks. I think that it will fade pretty fast, and if I buy it I won't be fast enough to sell it. I'm used to coins that I can hold for a long term.

Re: Dogecoin (DOGE)
by
siedemtrzy
on 22/01/2024, 08:27:06 UTC
I’m still expecting DOGE to come back strong. It always has a massive rally when Bitcoin is in a bull run. We may have to wait a year or so but the old DOGE is going nowhere. It will be back with another period of euphoria in thd not too distant future.
this really obvious on understanding that whenever Bitcoin price is high on the coins especially the altcoins will regain a positive in the market, so that is why so many investors do like to purchase a coin whenever they not use that there will be a bullrun so that during the process of a bullrun the coin will accelerate with other coins

Well, BTC went more than +100% in a year, but DOGE didn't move that much. I don't think it works for it right now.

Promoting BTC to non-coiners is kinda dangerous, I don't think you need to push people. Only if they ask you to explain to them how to buy it or stuff like that.

They could, but I don't see any reason why. BTC is the top 1 and choosing something else without approving BTC ETF would be really strange.
