Re: What role have altcoins played in cryptocurrency industry
by
silbertlee
on 31/05/2023, 07:44:18 UTC
Altcoins are blockchain assets that use the Bitcoin code as a template with some modifications to its underlying technology blockchain. More applications are more in line with the needs of the public. This is the case for many DEFI products. In addition, the most eye-catching thing is that altcoins can achieve greater profits in a short period of time, and the increase in altcoins is often beyond imagination.

Re: If I have $40,000 to invest in one #cryptocurrency.
by

on 29/05/2023, 08:22:10 UTC
All in a bid to ensure I have a concrete investment plan this year, I researched some of the altcoins that has the potential to yield the best return over a duration of 5years. BTC and Eth top my list as one of the more secure coins, but other altcoins have proven to be reliable overtime, if you agree. Despite market volatility and the possibility of a crash, which is your most valid choice right now.

*If I have $40,000 to invest in one #cryptocurrency that will make me a billionaire, Which one do you think would be a better choice, besides BTC and Eth of which I have grown accustomed to?

- $BTC *
- $ETH *
- $ADA
- $VET
- $SOL
- $MATIC
- $SHIB
- $NEAR
- $DOGE
- $DOT
- $LINK

These are some of the best I have seen so far.

*What advice would you give me

What I have paid more attention to recently are altcoins, all kinds of 100 times coins. In fact, I also know that the risk factor is very high. This is a game of seeing who can run fast. People often fail because of their own greed. So, there is no way I can give you any advice, stay away from altcoins. You can choose to participate in projects in the primary market. Of course, you need to spend more time to investigate the project parties.

Re: Are Your Kids Aware Of Bitcoin? Teach Them.
by

on 29/05/2023, 08:18:59 UTC
The dream of every successful businessman or woman is to have a good successor. you can not be in the light in which bitcoin has brought you to and allow your children to suffer because you failed to teach them the secret behind your wealth. Let your kids know that bitcoin is the surest way to financial freedom, teach them now that bitcoin is of more value than fiat currency, educate them about the importance of bitcoin to mankind, let them know that bitcoin has changed the economy of countries who saw the light in it and adopted it as a means of doing transactions.

Now that your kids are young and vibrant, be their tutor, ensure they are bitcoin oriented, save them from financial dependency, encourage them to rely on bitcoin instead of saving fiat currency that Depreciates now and then.

Our kids represent the leaders of tomorrow, let's teach them about bitcoin now that we can.

I support your approach, but I don't like the purpose. I prefer to respect children's own choices. Of course, necessary guidance is needed. I also have two children of my own. Boys like Internet things more, so I will I will focus on some knowledge points about WEB3. Since the girl doesn't like this kind of thing, I will guide her to do what he likes. Regarding Bitcoin or the encrypted world, it is good to know how to use it. I am different from the author because I am not a businessman.

Holders, believers, speculators, and a short-term trader, everyone has a different mentality, just do your own thing well, and I am relatively rational and objective when it comes to investment strategies. The pie thing. I don't have the energy and time to watch the market every day, just because I believe, because time gives me the best answer.

Re: why people are always interested in altcoins
by
silbertlee
on 28/01/2023, 08:11:41 UTC
as we know, many people suggest investing in bitcoin because the risk is not too high.
but if we look at the market there are lots of people buying altcoins, and to be honest I also like to buy altcoins but there aren't many of them, and it's still my biggest investment in bitcoin. and to be honest even though investing in altcoins is risky but I always want to buy and the reason is because of the high pumping..
and I want to ask everyone what is your  for buying altcoins, is the reason the same as mine?
The greater the risk, the higher the return. People often lose their recent judgment under the temptation of huge interests. I always think about making a big difference with a small one. This is the thinking of normal people, because the price of altcoins will be crazily raised in the early stage, so as to attract more retail investors to come in, and then carry out large-scale harvesting. This is a very dangerous signal, it depends on whether you can run faster.

Re: Ukrainian pharmacy chain introduces cryptocurrency payments
by

on 06/01/2023, 01:23:13 UTC
I don't know the details but crypto is now a valid currency and not only pharmacies but all other institutions should have multiple payment options.
Quote
It is reported that ANC Pharmacy operates more than 1,000 pharmacies across Ukraine and operates its own online pharmacy service. The pharmacy in Kyiv will initially support the Binance Pay payment service.
This news is exciting. Since the beginning of the war, Ukraine has accepted various digital currencies for war aid. Therefore, in Ukraine, everyone still respects the use of digital currencies as a way to preserve the value of assets. Therefore, various application scenarios will continue to emerge in the future.

Re: Interesting events in 2022 on the crypto market
by
silbertlee
on 04/01/2023, 01:25:36 UTC

Event which has the biggest impact? I guess that was the downfall of terra because that was also the time wherein sources of profit in forms of p2e and nfts, also started to struggle. After that, we've seen more projects which had problems prolonging their platform in this industry  But I am not trying to blame everything from what he's done. The market is just that uncertain and many things could take place in an instant for both positice and negative situations. Maybe, it is a factor that many projects became alarming to the investors, which yield to low overall activity in this industry. Whether it would be able to recover or not, depends solely with the things which would take place for next year.

I agree and I thought that was the last bad news that we are going to have before the end of 2022 until the FTX scandal happened with over 5 million users losing their funds and the bad domino effect that happened, I consider 2022 as one of the worse years we have, if not for the good foundation and the strong belief of the early adopters the industry is still safe.

The only circumstances that we are going to crumble are if the blockchain concept can be destroyed or manipulated, it's the centralized entities that are wrong here not the blockchain concept.
No matter how advanced technology is, human nature is the most terrifying. When the underlying technology of the decentralized blockchain is controlled by capital or interest groups, the essence of decentralization will die. This is the saddest thing. Various major events in 2022, including the domino effect caused, fully demonstrate that there is nothing wrong with technology, but it is people's evil intentions that are wrong.

What if the government of a country is irresponsible?
by
silbertlee
on 28/12/2022, 06:07:35 UTC
What if the government of a country is irresponsible and issues a large amount of currency to buy Bitcoin?
No matter what the reason is, inflation is already very serious now. If some unscrupulous governments print a lot of money in order to repay debts and fight inflation, of course it will not be one time. Credit money no longer has credit.
When a chain of interests is formed between big countries, behind the crazy printing of money is the harvesting of countries that are not rich. What would it look like if it were all exchanged for Bitcoin?

Re: Has anyone ever lost bitcoins before?

on 27/12/2022, 07:09:32 UTC
I have been deceived by others about Bitcoin, that is, someone in the wallet will send you coins with an address you often use, and then you will mistakenly think that this familiar address is your own, but in fact that address is not yours at all. The letters are very similar, but still different.
I haven't run into scammers, but I have had the wrong payment address and lost my bitcoins forever. But luckily I know where my bitcoins are. My current storage method is a hardware wallet, although my wallet is getting smaller and smaller.

Re: Bitcoin is Art
by
silbertlee
on 15/12/2022, 02:21:31 UTC
Bitcoin is a peer-to-peer electronic currency, just like Satoshi said. When people start calling it something else, like "a swarm of digital hornets", "digital gold", "art", "revolution" and so on, it suggests that it isn't doing well as currency, because otherwise people wouldn't need to create new narratives of what Bitcoin is.

As for art, wikipedia defines it as:

Quote
Art is a diverse range of human activity, and resulting product, that involves creative or imaginative talent expressive of technical proficiency, beauty, emotional power, or conceptual ideas.

And Bitcoin is neither of those things, it's simply a tool for storing and transferring value online.

Your answer is too official and rigorous. As CZ said, everyone is Satoshi, so what is Bitcoin? Everyone has an answer. It's just that everyone's mentality and financial situation are different, and their views on Bitcoin are also different. The answers are colorful and there is no correct answer.

Re: Banks do not want bitcoin to become popular
by
silbertlee
on 12/12/2022, 01:49:42 UTC
I came across this news on CNBC where standard chartered bank claims that bitcoin will reach 5000$. Being a bank, this can be their wish and not a reality. Banks do not want bitcoin to become popular and therefore they spread this negative information so people panic sell and do not adopt bitcoin.  Sad

https://i.imgur.com/06rcklo.jpg
There is no doubt about it. Bitcoin itself is a decentralized digital currency that can get rid of banks and conduct peer-to-peer transactions directly. If I take your job away, aren't you in a hurry? The reason why the bank said this is nothing more than one purpose, hoping that Bitcoin will become history. Now that such a point of view is published to create panic and make everyone return to the newcomers to the bank, the business volume will naturally grow rapidly. This is also the struggle between traditional finance and decentralized finance.

Re: Can Bitcoin Destroy Crap Altcoins?
by
silbertlee
on 10/12/2022, 01:37:01 UTC
The only thing that will stop shitcoins from stealing people’s money is education. Too many people think that all coins (and stocks for that matter) have the same number of outstanding coins (or shares). This is the most common tactic to fleece those lacking financial education. Too many people judge whether a coin is cheap or expensive by its price instead of market cap. This is mostly a failure of our education system and a get rich quick mentality by the younger generations.
Education will be a long process that will take time. But I very much support this point of view, but in the face of greedy and ignorant people, there is too much helplessness in it. The heart and mentality are the hardest to change. On the other hand, no matter what the situation is, there are two sides, which is a natural law. Those with high awareness will naturally distinguish whether it is a high-quality project. So fools who lose themselves in order to make money must also exist.

Would you work on Bitcoin full-time?
by
silbertlee
on 10/12/2022, 01:28:32 UTC
I have known the forum for a while, and it is very frequent to see many legendary activities. It can be seen that they spend a lot of time and energy to maintain the normal operation of the forum, and of course many legendary members are not staff. So I feel like they're all doing bitcoin full time. In fact, working in the decentralized financial field is a new form of work, which may be fully reflected in various DAO organizations in the future and will be rewarded accordingly. Many people will also say: You bought Bitcoin, put it there, forget about it, you don’t need to work. It sounds ridiculous.

Re: Why Bitcoin is the most Preferred Choice
by
silbertlee
on 05/12/2022, 01:58:45 UTC
Bitcoin as so many advantages as an assets it change people's lives globally today without bitcoin some people would have still they suffering, the main is for you to make your transaction with depending on anyone.

Bitcoin changes many people's lives but not everyone will become richer, there are many people investing in bitcoin losing and losing a lot. Bitcoin is a highly profitable investment but needs analysis and research, if you buy bitcoin for $69k, you are currently making a loss, not a profit.
I started Bitcoin with more than 50,000 US dollars, although I saw people in the forum often said that long-term holding requires faith and faith. But what I want to say is that this process is very painful. I see my assets slowly draining day by day. Coupled with the economic downturn in recent years, sometimes ideals lose to reality.

Re: Does Japan fall behind in the crypto industry ?
by
silbertlee
on 03/12/2022, 02:11:01 UTC
As one of the world's leading economies with countless cutting edge technologies, Japan has maintained its high-profile status for many decades. Even in this World Cup, Japan has defeated Germany and Spain, striving to the next level of competition. It seems that Japan does not need to prove to be a great nation to the world. However, in the crypto industry, we barely heard anything great from Japan, no leading blockchain ecosystem or any cryptocurrency exchange alike. Why ? Please correct me if I am wrong.

  - As far as I know, the country of Japan is also a believer in cryptocurrency and is also open to it. Knowing if this country is also among the developed countries because of the technology they have.

I can't say that Japan is left behind when it comes to cryptocurrency. Because recently Binance has been reacquired in this country of regulations as far as I know dude read this
Japan is embracing and open to the crypto world. I agree with you. The Japanese government has legalized digital currency transactions. According to my Japanese classmates, both the elderly and children in Japan have shown enthusiasm for Bitcoin, so Japan is not far behind in this regard. It’s just that Japan is now more and more regulated on the encryption world.

Re: 23 Countries Now Abandoning US Dollar
by
silbertlee
on 19/11/2022, 03:29:11 UTC
I am a bit disappointed that the article later says:

Quote
Historically, new world reserve currencies are backed by gold.

Prices just dropped on gold and silver. NOW it the time to buy! Protect your wealth my friends.

As if gold and silver will be the next world reserve currencies.

The optimistic me says that Bitcoin will be the next world reserve currency after the dollar, but that is depending on countries using it, which's already starting to happen in some countries. Sadly the article dod not say which fiat currency is the most viable alcandidate to replace the dollar (the yuan?)
The current economic environment is still very poor, and neither side of the trade is very active. The status of the dollar has also been greatly impacted. The dollar is now weaponized by the United States. In comparison, I trust gold more. In the future, there may be exchange standards for multiple currencies, some relying on gold and silver, and some relying on Bitcoin. If another superpower emerges in the future, it is also possible to formulate a fairer world currency and a new economic system.

Re: China Is Quietly Rewriting Rules That Run the World
by
silbertlee
on 19/11/2022, 03:20:44 UTC
In my opinion, China is playing a complex strategic game.

Technical standards are a very powerful tool of influence in today's world.  In some neighboring countries, even the railway tracks have different widths.  Through the establishment of certain technical standards, countries fight for their influence.

Probably, China plans to draw half of the countries of the world into its sphere of influence.

And in this half of the world there will be such phenomena as social rating, closed Internet, censorship and a ban on freedom of speech.

I don't understand politics, and I don't understand whether China wants to achieve socialist globalization through economic aid. I knew that the current economic situation is already very decadent. I do international trade, and now I just feel that Chinese suppliers are getting more and more cunning. Product quality and prices are fickle.

Re: Entrepreneurship or Office job?
by
silbertlee
on 16/11/2022, 02:20:50 UTC
The struggle between the decision of being your own boss and working under someone is becoming more difficult to make as economic situations become tougher. From evaluation around me, self proclaimed entrepreneurs are quitting entrepreneurship because of difficulty in maintaining a business and reduced sales due to reduced purchasing power from people, an effect of the economic situation. Office workers on the other hand who also have been on one salary grade for a long time now are becoming fed up with how their monthly salary is no longer sufficient to secure a comfortable lifestyle for a month also due to the higher cost of living. What do you think is the way forward?

When the economic situation is difficult, I personally think it is necessary to find a job. At this stage, as long as you don’t lose money, you are making money, and then spend a little bit every month to make targeted investments, such as Bitcoin. Of course, everyone's situation is different, and I am in this state now.

Re: Binance Chief Pushes for Global Crypto Standards Amid FTX Crisis
by
silbertlee
on 16/11/2022, 01:59:02 UTC
Definitely do not want greater regulation. Especially not on a global scale, which would apply to all countries. Transparency has nothing to do with the FTX case. Which was entirely based on fraud on a massive scale, as well as insider crime.

What comes after global crypto regulation? Global bans on proof of work mining to "save the environment"? Global minimum income tax rates of 15%, which is something they tried to pass not long ago.

I would have to guess motives behind pushes for regulation are the only thing transparent here. The motives are not good and the results and implications would not be good, either.

That's true, and I'll stand by your argument. I don't want Bitcoin to be regulated. As the world's largest centralized exchange, Binance is essentially restricted by the policies of various countries. Binance accepts supervision and specifies industry standards, and increasing transparency is the only option. But the essence of the encrypted world is decentralization. Without this line of defense, the encrypted world will collapse. Maybe the blockchain will continue to go on, but this application in the financial field will lose its meaning.

Re: What define your success, "money, fame or achievement"?
by
silbertlee
on 14/11/2022, 01:32:38 UTC

CONCLUSION
Let's stop making money and fame the only measure for success. Being successful is being happy and satisfied with ones fully achieved dreams. Money cannot buy satisfaction and happiness. Satisfaction and happiness is the true definition of success and anyone without this can not be declare as being successful.
Many people have their different definition of success,  some people  believe success is success, it doesn't matter how it comes.
But to me the main definition of success is anything that can be achieved by merit. In life success different phases, and the end product of success in life is to be able to afford the necessary things life requires as a man.

From the early stage of life we pursue education and if it is well achieved then we can call that success,  the next stage of life is to go after our different career that can be means for survival,  no matter the amount of money it brings  it is success as far as it keeps man going.

Success is a positive feeling, and if I feel like I've accomplished something, and I've done it, that sense of satisfaction and accomplishment in my heart is what I understand to be success. If you want to be successful, it's easier said than done. Whether it is fame, money and honor. As long as you are happy, you are successful.
