Re: 🚀[ANN]🔥Cryptocup-World Cup Prediction Game With Customizable ERC 721 Tokens🚀
by
silvermetal
on 10/06/2018, 11:39:55 UTC
How can I play? Can you give me the explanation?
it is easy to play - you need to make your first step - fill your predictions, then you log in with metamask and then you just send the ETH, then you will receive a token which "contains" so to say your predictions

Do you receive the token also in your ethereum wallet?

I can see the token in "my tokens" at cryptocup.io but not in my ethereum wallet (after i send the ETH).

Lately, they really have a lot of problems. I started using other exchanges

https://forkdelta.github.io/
https://idex.market/

I've heard forkdelta a lot recently but never actually trade in there. I will wait for some more time before give it a go. And yeah, etherdelta is not reliable anymore. Since they chsnged their CEO, there are to many things fishy going on. From the DNS hack, the ICO, the fake twitter handle and now broken API.

Idex is quite reliable to me, been here for quite some time

Forkdelta = etherdelta

Check here why forkdelta is more userfriendly:

Well if they ask for that then it's necessary. Nothing scary in it, just send them your driver license or something like that.

You must be careful sending your id, and take precautions (eg ID-fraud)
- Only provide the information which are relevant.
- Mask details which are unnecessary to know (eg your social security number).
- Describe on the copy of your ID: It is a copy, the date, the reason of the copy

In the Netherlands you have guidelines from the authorities how to copy your ID in a  safe way:

https://www.rijksoverheid.nl/onderwerpen/identiteitsfraude/vraag-en-antwoord/fraude-voorkomen-met-kopie-id-bewijs

I am sure other countries have the same guidelines, check it first before you copy and send your ID!

No one will receive back what they lost. The receivers got back less than $2 Million AFAIK and approved claimants get a percentage of that, Less 30% to the Lawyers.

It was Never about getting your coins or their Value back.

I find it a bit incredible that people still don't know this.

Maybe you are right.
Then this should be stated in their FAQ, not the value of the coins at 01NOV15.

Anyhow I am happy that I got something back. My expectation was that I lost everything and got nothing.

Yesss finally received my settlement payment by post
About 65 dollars for each bitcoin taken by cryptsy  🤣

Well that's it i guess...

I have learned my lesson; never trust or use a centralized cryptocoin exchange ever again!

I also received my settlement payment today $769,91 for

6.19 btc
535 cloak
21185 cann
114 ppc
485 xpm
13069 xst
10690 wdc
and many more small coins for the long hold

The date was 4 nov 2015, btc was at that time $393  (https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitcoin)

How can they pay me only 769,91 pff 6.19 btc x $393 = $2432,67

I also don't understand, they indicated in their FAQ that for the settlement payment would use the price at 01 nov 2015. The price was at that day $250
You should have received at least 6x $250 = $1500.
Not sure how it works with the taxes?

what i don't understand, why don't the lawyers focus on the so called wiped servers and stolen coins that were transferred to coinbase and poloniex, try to get that back, transfer it in usd and ask 20%, they will make more money .and everybody would be happy

The Lawyers are going after Coinbase.

As far as Polo I read somewhere in the Lawyers documents that they are aware, however I haven't heard anything since.

and will that help with our results? lets say they get the coins back, will we still get our btc/altcoin or will we get some of the usd that was worth it that day?

When I look at the FAQ: http://www.cryptsysettlement.com/FAQs it will be unfortunately the latest (see quetstion 13):

Quote from: cryptsysettlement
13. How much money can I get from the settlements?
Class Members who submit a Claim Form are called “claimants” and will be eligible to receive a share of the Settlement Funds if and when the Settlement Funds are distributed. The Claims Administrator, with the assistance of the Receiver and Class Counsel, will determine the market value, as of November 1, 2015, of the cryptocurrency(ies) held by Class Members that submit valid claims. Each Class Member submitting a valid claim shall be allocated a pro rata share of the Net Settlement Fund based on his, her or its claim compared to the total number of valid claims. There is no way to determine, in advance, how many Class Members will make claims from the Net Settlement Fund. Class Members who do not submit valid claims will not share in the proceeds of the Net Settlement Funds, but will nevertheless be bound by this Settlement.

Price of 1 bitcoin at November 1, 2015 was about 250$

Once an exchange has been hacked, it becomes very difficult to trust its security in future again. At least for a long while.

What a nonsense...wish it was true, then people would not trade at lousy exchanges like poloniex, cryptopia, yobit etc. And those exchanges would not have any right for existence.

Most of my coins are stolen at centralized exchanges (cryptsy and poloniex), because i was so naive that I thought that I could trust my coins there.
Still wonder why poloniex is running, while my ticket which I raised 6 months ago is still "under investigation".

I have learned the hard way, and I consider my coins only safe in my hardware wallet, and change or trade my coins only at decentralized exchanges (like etherdelta or shapeshift).

I think the easiest way to participate in a bounty, is just to have some ethereum in your wallet (not on an exchange).
Now and then you receive some free tokens from airdrops in your ethereum wallet, which you can trade at etherdelta for example.
Tokens I received by only holding ether in my wallet were OMG (worth 14$ now), VIU, Xenon and Datacoin.

This SHITCOIN is dead!!! Save your money!!!

Rtg - Yesterday 16:48
Regarding Masternode Rewards: It has come to our attention that masternode payouts have fallen due to the fact that rogue miners are exploiting the old code bypassing the payout to MNs and taking the complete block reward. The team has chosen to push forward with the code update to remedy this issue. There has been a delay which the dev team is diligently working to overcome in order to push the update to the mainnet. Due to the complexity of the issue, no specific update timeline can be given at this time. The dev. team understands the severity of this issue and will update everyone as soon as a resolution is reached and timelines can be established and posted for everyone. We appreciate your continued support of the Chaincoin Network through these difficult and trying times for our Masternode Owners. The new update will advance our coin's future and fix this payout issue.

- no roadmap
- no active development - only fake copy/paste
- no new website
- no MN payments
- no progress
- no vision
- no deadlines

CHC IS SHITCOIN!!!!!!!

Yeps same scammer active for Chaincoin as at UNO and other "rolilahlah" related coins.

silvermetal, take a look at "StartCoin" : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=651307.0

insta approved by ocminer

Startcoin was created for Max Keiser. Just like MaxCoin.
Somebody else was already convinced that MaxCoin was created by this copy coin clown: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=260031.msg20267242#msg20267242

Startcoin and Maxcoin follow a different pattern I have seen earlier from this copy coin clown but I will add startcoin and maxcoin as suspected coins created by this copy coin clown.

Interzone is obvious.... 1/1 copy of CHC from wallet to everything.

I also suspect Lindacoin

"quickdeal" announced Lindacoin, but he is not the copy coin clown I am looking for.
Sometimes he creates coins for other scammers (for example mimiccoin for DigitalIndustry).

Why do you suspect the copy coin clown created Lindacoin?

It would not surprise me if Signatum is from the same copy coin cloner:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1966967.0

It wouldn't surprise me either. Many of the shill accounts on that thread have similar 'tastes' in clonecoins it seems. Although some of their sock-puppetry is a bit lazy, take a look at this account created solely to create a raft of pump posts in a period of only 12 hours:
Quote

C'mon guys.. sell sell sell, let me keep getting these cheap coins and return a huge profit Cheesy
Just funny how ppl get scared and sell out cheap Cheesy  more for us I guess >.<

It actually looks like some ppl is artificially trying to dump the prices by inputting smaller and smaller sales orders to dump the prices and get ppl scared to the sell at these cheap prices. I'm not complaining Cheesy

Hehehe, Believe me mate.. If I had more money to invest at the moment I would definitely buy more coins. it will skyrocket pretty within very short time.
It won't be this low for long thou Smiley
Just look at the graphs, the price of the coin shows every sign to flatten out and then swing back up now.

The spiraling downward price was caused of false rumors and people dumping, The price will be at least double within very short time.

No doubt, "Thedudemeister" = Digitalindustry (DI) Wink

I scrolled a little bit through the Signatum thread and found many typical DI sockpuppets.
Here another one:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2030529.msg21078520#msg21078520
or this one:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2030529.msg22147629#msg22147629

Compare writing style of "habeas_corpus" and  "shankar94" for example with these posts (scroll up and down to see more posts of him on the same page):
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=241445.msg2561719#msg2561719

I still vote this one as the most stupidest sockpuppet of DI ever:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=241445.msg2581363#msg2581363

To clarify, DI is not the copy coin cloner. That is account user "Signatum".
Account user Signatum cooperates closely with DI, who scams his copied coins. DI lives in Australia (maybe that explains his word choice like "mate").
For some coins the copy coin cloner and DI share their account (for example for quarkcoin: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=260031.msg8810554#msg8810554).

For Chaincoin and UNO the copy coin cloner use another (I think German) scammer, who also creates dozens of sockpuppets to cheer for his coin.

Edit:

In this thread he also posts with sockpuppets:
"Brunosa": https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2198496.msg22100194#msg22100194

Hm According to the Signatum thread it is a "fairly launched" coin  Roll Eyes...
OCminer listed the coin... Roll Eyes
The coin is listed on exchange "cryptopia"  Roll Eyes
And I noticed some sockpuppets of user "Digitalindustry"  Roll Eyes (for the people who don't know who is "digitalindustry" https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=781954.0)

I think I can add Signatum to my list. It would not surprise me if Signatum is from the same copy coin cloner:

I submitted my claim before the deadline, have not gotten anything regarding acceptance or rejection yet.  I emailed them for a status update at the end of 8/31 and heard back from them on 9/13.  It was generic but basically said disbursement would probably start Q1 2018.  They didn't say I was or was not included.  I'll give it through the weekend and email again if I don't hear anything.

My e-mail from "cryptsy settlement" was in the junk e-mail folder.
Have you checked that?

Re: Scamcoin Quark is back
by

on 06/08/2017, 21:15:39 UTC
I had purchased Quark worth BTC0.10 in 2014. Lost almost the entire investment, after the coins became almost worthless. Sold all my coins in Vircurex, at almost 95% loss. These guys should not be allowed to cheat the users again.

Unfortunately these scam guys hop from one coin to another coin.
Last pump and dump from (part of) this same scam team was chaincoin.
If it is quiet now at Quark, then they cheat users with other coins.

I summarized some of the (Quark) scammers work (and therefore potential pump and dump coins) here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1966967.msg19562300#msg19562300

]I couldn't believe the prices that I was seeing for Chaincoin. How can people be so damn freaking dumb? Pump & HOld, like seriously. And all those who had lost money trying to catch the rise of this particular coin deserved to loose so that they can take a lesson and not repeat it again. For God's sake, even the dev had abandoned the project few years back. INSANE!!

With the dev you mean rolihlahla?

Rolihlahla didn't abandon the project, he is part of this scamgroup and also profit with this pump. He pretends he is still active and did a minor update at github at 17JUL17. It is about the same tactics he used with his other created pump and dump coins for example zetacoin (as giskard) and Quark (as maxguevara).

Rolihlahla also cooperates with the same scamgroup* at UNO (as WillowRosenborg or Bryce Weiner).

* Actually it is only one person with multiple accounts https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=299308.msg10667896;topicseen#msg10667896
