This thread is as useless as you are

Do not get so serious.

I mean if you see from a very serious attitude, about 90% of the threads here will appear useless. Do not expect new users to have same information or maturity as an experienced member.

The admin is already doing his best. But from your post it looks like you want him to handover major part of the reserve for your own benefit, community benefit does not seem to be your concern at all.

I can bet that the day this conversation starts happening in my village, bitcoin price would have reached over $1000000 per bitcoin already. People in my villages are scared of debit cards so I cannot imagine them using bitcoin in next 50 years.

Re: What ruined your chances of investing in Bitcoin earlier?

I was not that much in crypto. I knew about it but never explored it from investing point of view. Also, I had limited funds at that time so I could not invest heavily in crypto anyway.

Recovery services are scam. But the problem is that those who fall for it will not be able to come across this thread or other similar resources available online. As crypto is becoming popular, these scammers are also finding new ways to make fool of innocent investors.

Re: Please stop blaming "the government" for lack of Bitcoin mass payment adoption
by

Not all governments are against bitcoin and its adoption - while many governments support and give permission for its adoption and trading.

You are right about this. Countries like USA support bitcoins so far.

Bitcoin ETFs have also been approved in USA and they will further boost the growth of bitcoin and other crypto. Personally , I feel that whatever USA does, most of the other good economies in the world, just try to follow that. Also, USA has the highest income overall and thus lot of money is flowing towards crypto from them.

Re: My first time utilizing the Bitcoin ATM….
by

There is no bitcoin ATM in my country. When someone tried to set it up, he was arrested as he took no approvals for this

https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/city/bengaluru/1st-bitcoin-atm-in-bengaluru-seized-co-founder-held/articleshow/66340493.cms

So , the owner of one of the first crypto exchanges in my country was arrested for opening crypto ATM. You can imagine the overall situation related to crypto then.

Re: Why no info about how serious are USA financial situation now ?
by
simonova
on 19/02/2024, 13:26:02 UTC
It's serious the usa are in situation to default but nowhere info?

The news should look this," people we are in the real trouble and we are about see huge financial collapse and fed having the problems no easy fix "

I mean news are full of other news wich is not even so important compared with this one.
The USA financial system is now close to collapse we are few days away from default.
In this case only way untfortunately will be full scale war.
The amount of debt ....it can not be balanced out with small crisis.

USA economy is collapsing from last 2 years. I am hearing this news from very long time but it never happened. I do not think there is any weight to these type of news anymore. These are just rumors being spread by media companies for views because these are attention grabbing news.

If USA economy really collapses, weaker economies like Asian countries will show the sign already few months before. But no such thing has been reported so we can assume that USA economy is also completely safe.

There had been many incidences when various news related to crypto which could move prices up turned out to be false. But where do you see bitcoin prices ? It has been moving up steadily for last 10 years. This trend will continue in future also and those who are here for long term will make the maximum profits. Traders will not only incur loss but will always remain tensed with frequent ups and downs in bitcoin prices.

Re: Merit & new rank requirements
by

So this means other section don't have posts that are much worthy to read by others? I agree that there were lot of spammers who have no knowledge about cryptos but still posting for earning money from bounties but we need to have find the quality posts in the bitcoin section as well, since the main reason of the forum is to discussing about bitcoin.

Not compulsory but there are some sections where posts are merited frequently. Meta is one of them. I had a quick glance at your previous posts and you have some posts in reputation section. Good posts there also get merits as per my observation.

Re: Forum is flooded with Jr. member ranks
by
simonova
on 13/08/2018, 10:17:36 UTC
Wouldn't it be more beneficial to this forum to require ranking from Newbie to Jr. member gain at least a decent amount of merits first?

Then you will see the forum filled newbie members.

Now coming back to this issue, it is obvious that this will happen with current criteria. There is a criteria of 10 merit points to gain member rank and most will not be able to achieve that with the quality of posts they make. Something that contributes more to this is that some bounties allow jr members also or even newbies and thus they are content with whatever they get.

Re: Question about goods bought with bitcoin on the forum.
by
simonova
on 13/08/2018, 10:14:40 UTC
This can be quite tricky and depends on a number of factors. For instance, a lot depends on the delivery service that is used for the final delivery to your home. In my country, you can pick it up from the office of the delivery service also showing your identity card or even ask the delivery guy to come to a point near your home and then collect it from there. I will still not take this route for a coin as things can get complicated if it is misplaced.

Many things are needed to be taken into consideration before reaching any conclusion like:

1) Suppose a member who is already accepted send merit to a manager after few weeks. This might be because he is impressed with the ways he manages the campaign like keeping the thread updated with detailed replies.

2) Some might be sending merits in support of the campaign being promoted.

However, if someone sends merit to a manager in bulk before applying should not be encouraged.

Re: I will never join AirDrop programs any more
by
simonova
on 13/08/2018, 10:00:50 UTC
You should take some precautions while participating in Airdrops like :

1) Most important thing is to check the product or the coin they are launching. If they are not offering something unique, do not bother waisting time on it.

2) Prefer the airdrops which give more coins to early participants holding all coins till end.

3) Stay away from airdrops which are breaking forum rules and they may be removed anytime.

Re: Solution for people with money stuck on zebpay
by
simonova
on 10/08/2018, 10:54:48 UTC
For those who got their INR (money) stuck on Zebpay or want to cash out of crypto, you have following options.

Currently in India, only P2P market works after RBI ban. I mean this is by far the most legal way to get your INR back. Most popular exchange is WazirX P2P.

I have heard good thing about the exchange but never tried it. Do you think that there can be a legal problem for people trying to withdraw or buy more crypto as the matter is in court now ? If there was no such complication, all the exchanges in India would have launched similar options by now. Why will they continue in loss without any transactions ?

Re: Dear moderator of EXCHANGES it's impossible to tell users about scammers
by
simonova
on 31/07/2018, 18:02:06 UTC
Hello! I am a rep for the service that the OP is trying to call out here.

I'd like to recap the situation from our side, point by point:

1. As a money services business, we comply with market standards and legal requirements that any legit exchange service must comply with, which obliges us to have AML and KYC implemented. This is clearly stated in our FAQ, our Terms of Use, and our Privacy Policy, and one automatically accepts them when using ChangeNOW.

2. The OP's activity was deemed suspicious by our risk management system. We asked him for his ID in order to pass KYC. He sent us a fake ID which prompted an investigation, during which his funds were placed on a cold wallet, only to be released when the situation clears up.

3. The only step of the investigation left is the video verification procedure. We asked the OP to participate in a video call with his real ID to complete the KYC procedure. He has refused to cooperate so far, has been sending accusatory messages everywhere, and sending us threats. Despite everything, we're always open for communication, are constantly talking with him through our support, and would be happy to release his funds after the video call.

The OP has created multiple threads here on the forums, has been harassing our service on other public spaces, sending us threats and completely refusing to cooperate. We ourselves would like this situation to be over already, but alas.

Have you considered getting this resolved with the help of staff by giving them solid proof confirming your authority and what you have claimed in almost all you posts here on this forum ? I understand that no one should believe false accusations against a service provider without any proof but you are using the same approach with the replies without any proof.

Re: Facebook shares price fell -24%

I do not see FB dying anytime soon.

They are doing major changes to their platform to keep the users engaged. Also, they keep adding acquiring other popular social networks so as to increase their user base. Mark Zucerberg is still young and has lot of energy and passion to keep FB moving forward. However, platforms like Twitter are not going to last long if they do not take some major steps to control spam.
