Unable to setup the Environment for AltCoin

I need to learn & follow the process of creating a new CryptoCurrency.

I had been following the link: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=149479.0

However, I am stuck at Step 2.7 of the above post.

Here are the steps I followed so far:

1. I have successfully done upto the Step 2.6 of the post.
2. For Step 2.7, I downloaded the source for QT 5.6.1 and did the configure.bat. It gave the error Unknown option -no-vcproj. I removed the option -no-vcproj and executed the configure.bat command successfully.
3. When I did mingw32-make, it gives a fatal error openssl/ssl.h: No such file or directory.

I am really stuck here; with no possible solution in mind.

Can anyone please help?

Thanks

Hello,

I am new to the sphere of CryptoCurrency.

My understanding is that the guide is around the Windows system.

Can you direct me to a similar guide for setting it all up on a Linux system(Fedora)?

Gratitude
