[ANN] WoofCoin / New Coin [WOFC] GPU Mining/PoW

WOOF COIN

Since the beginning of the pandemic, pet surrendering rates have increased dramatically around the world. Waitlists for surrendering household pets have increased to a remarkable eight months as animal shelters and welfare organisations have seen an increase of 34% for animals needing help.

Typically, animal shelters are under resourced and under financed; relying heavily on donations and the volunteer efforts to assist animals.

This is where Woof Coin steps in. As avid lovers of dogs, we wanted to make a difference. Using the power of Proof of Work mining, we’ve created a coin where miners are contributing to the donation of money to animal welfare shelters. These shelters initially include the ASPCA who already have a cryptocurrency donation mechanism but with intention to expand to the RSPCA and other organizations suggested by the community.

Our aim is to put animals first and we intend on developing ongoing relationships with pet shelters to help adoption.

Coins Specifications
21 billion supply
Block 2,100,000 halving (4 years estimated)
Algorithm: KawPOW
Proof of Work

I think sumokoin is good for long-term investment because many think that sumokoin will be expensive for the future

I invested a lot of money in sumo between $2.58-$2.80, now just forget about it. Sumo will be added to new exchange and is implementing new features what no other privacy coin have. I don't think that its only good for long-term but middle-term too. Definitely, very good investment what I won't regret

this one works too

Re: SRBMiner Cryptonight AMD GPU Miner V1.4.8

yeah i know some users reported it too.
Im working on it.

Ok now i found something insane : if i connect with teamviewer to the rig it won't crash. Without it it crashes on one of my rigs.
Anyone else can confirm this?

guys stay on 1.4.7 or a version that best works for you until i resolve this

I found out that TeamViewer holds WindowsDefender from disconnecting "SRBminer from driver"
However stupid it sounds, for last couple of days I've been battling my miners switching OFF withing 20min to 2hours after I disconnect TeamViewer.
Logs didn't indicate the issue, just GPUs were going to zero speed and eventually killing miner.
Tried everything, dongles, all windows power setting (no idle on drives, monitro, NICadapters, usbs, nothing), yet the thing would go off when i disconnect TV.
Noticed that when TViewer is working, WinDefender does not touch/scan miner.

Turned off WinDefender totally. Now miner stays up. Weird.

Double check you pool address. I had the same issue last night when I freshly compiled XMR-STAK and pasted "pool" from some old release (2.2.0) where I had address wrong.
I chatted with admin @fairpool and he helped me out to find issue with pool address.

mine.sumo.fairpool.xyz:5555

Try it.
Make sure you use the newest xmr-stak and you select sumokoin as algo to mine.

From my webui for 1 vega

Difficulty   19195
Good results   2430 / 2430 (100.0 %)
Avg result time   14.4 sec
Pool-side hashes   46941923

Pool address   mine.sumo.fairpool.xyz:5555
Connected since   2018-04-05 01:13:45
Pool ping time   183 ms

Ping not the greatest but 100% so far.

XMR-STAK 2.4.2

In "pools.txt"

"pool_address" : "mine.sumo.fairpool.xyz:5555",

"currency" : "sumokoin",

Should work for you, works for me. Vega 64 droped from 2020hs to 1200hs.

didn't change my stats for days, but my live stats are not showing up, no way to mess up configuration or typo because I mine on this pool for months now.
Stats disappeared. Also didn't get my payout today...

Full portable wallet software version possible? Like "wallet.exe -datadir=data" ?

Make sumo.bat file in folder:
\Sumokoin_Wallet.your version\Resources\bin

edit it to have something like that:
start sumokoind.exe --data-dir D:\sumokoin -

start deamon

start GUI wallet after deamon started,

job done

Try to open wallet today and after entering the password for the gui wallet, then it stuck forever at Loading Wallet screen. Can anyone help me?
Your transaction is recent so you have to have blockchain synced in your wallet up to the day transaction happened I guess.

Sumo GUI Wallet v0.0.2

This version is to incorporate subaddresses feature (named "Ghost" addresses) to UI. 10 "ghost" addresses are always available to use while used addresses are grouped with available balances.

NOTE:

  • The new wallet binaries are not fully compatible with old wallet files. After upgraded, you should run "Rescan Blockchain" to refresh wallet and reveal all transaction history. That's highly recommended.
  • Exchanges may not update their wallets to the latest version so that withdrawal to subaddresses would result in errors. Please make consult supports before using subaddresses for coin withdrawal.

Changes:

- Full support for sending and receiving to subaddresses.
- Receive tab shows ghost addresses along with main address, ready to use.
- Various bug fixes for better wallet stability.

There seems to be no option to define an explicit DB directory with Sumokoin_Wallet-v0.0.2-w64install instead of the default one (C:\ProgramData\sumokoin). Will such a feature be added under Settings tab...perhaps in the next point release to make it easier for the less tech-savvy folks to apply? I tried the --data-dir D:\new_directory flag in the shortcut target but it doesn't work and persistently create C:\ProgramData\sumokoin default directory.

copy your Data folder from default location to D or wherever you desire and create .bat file in  \Sumokoin_Wallet-v0.0.1-b2-x86-64\Resources\bin

start sumokoind.exe --data-dir D:\sumokoin -

in this example my data folder for sumo db file is moved to D
after you start deamon with proper parameter you can delete anything left on C drive

No worries, algo will align the diff as soon as they leave. And if they stay the price will raise so that you will make nice profit anyway.
SUMO is miner friendly, this is just a hiccup.

Yeah, I'm with Sumo for a while now, not going to give up because of single spike Wink 3 more Vegas should arrive today so I'm going to give 2 for Sumo and 1 for Monero as those are siblings in my view.

Over night difficulty raised many times, reward dropped too. On https://sumo.fairpool.xyz in the middle of the night (2am onwards) huge miners showed up. While total hashrate was around 15-19M, those who joined had 5Mh combined. The next morning I can't get 5 sumo of each Vega/day anymore. Now its literally 1 sumo/1kh/day or even slightly less. Good news for Sumo, bad news for small miners (like myself with 5 Vegas)
