Isn't it better to place whole GB1 refund request as majority voted (or it's not a majority at all?) Is there any graph of "voting"?

Now I'm really starting to worry. Part of buyers will be refunded (hopefully - as they want), and then what? I though there is no posibility of partial refund. such a scenario could place non-refund-requesters in a bad situation (no refund and no chips at all, because of partial refund)

@BkkCoins - what you gonna do with K16? Are you gonna finish this masterpiece or dump it to "for later" shelf. I'm asking because there are a lot of people (incl. myself) who want this device, despite avalon drawbacks. Maybe, just maybe they will send us the frickin chips.

But if you postpone developing of K16, there will be no point to order it from any assembler (in my case Nekonos). Most of people just yelling about refunds etc. In case of many backing off, what will happend with your 'enterprise' (or other involved). Many of you invested alot in it.

BkkCoins spent half of his adult life on K16... Nekonos bought all parts for this (correct me if i'm wrong).
ROI or not, I want my K16's if possible (6 pcs).

But... if you all gonna vote for refund.... You can always sell your units to someone else

What about DS18x20? This can measure temperature (a 'bit' pricier than thermistor) but also has unique 64bit serial number. And it's 1-wire.

About that heatsink. Isn't it true, that avalon chips must be cooled from below? I mean you cannot put heatsink on top of the chip, but below the PCB with silicone thermal pad. It's just like block erupter is cooled.

I've started mining with GPUs recently (04.2013) and now i think about buying an ASIC chips machine. There will be no other machines than ASIC based in near future. We can only get smaller (65nm, 45nm) and slightly faster (not by order of 100 i think). So difficulty won't rise indefinitely.

A good idea will be running p2p exchange stock with crypto coins. All you need is client (maybe incorporated in wallet program) and you can exchange with other people. No central point - nothing to close

But beware, they are planning to buy chips. Not mining hardware.

After 10k preordered chips (I think about 1 month from now). Then if you wish, the chips will be sent to assembly site... Klondike 16 is a prototype, so the whole thing is adventure at least. I'm an electronics engineer so even with chips alone I can build some hw with specifications that are at Klondike github site.

So.. be carefull what you wish ;)
