You don't need to sell all your alt coins or bitcoins just because of  few market fluctuations.
Just have patience and wait for your investment to grow.

Good ideal, probably you might do that. But, I recommend you to sell them only if you are losing not much amount of money. I would also wait at your position.

I think that in the present conditions of the market this is quite possible, but this requires more time. By the end of the year I think it can be 4k.

Re: Exchange or Wallet?

The wallet is safer than crypto exchanges, but I believe that it is convenient to keep a small part of the funds on the stock exchange.
It is better to keep funds on large exchanges that pay much attention to security issues.

I think if Waves ever gets as popular it will also be under a lot of attack and could be vulnerable one day. But the leadership will take a different route from ETH if something bad ever happens to it.

I believe that smart contract based altcoins are the future as businesses and companies become interested into them.
Therefore, the best altcoins that you could buy right now would be ethereum, ethereum classic, Neo, Lisk, cardano,  expanse,  eoS, and Qtum.

Re: If you had $50, what would you invest in?

Hey Folks, I know this was posted all the time, and sorry about that. But I'd like to hear from you what would you invest in if you had 50 dollars in your pocket ready to put into some crypto?
This is too small a sum, but if you want to work, then I would choose operations on the exchange. Yes, it's risky, but the amount is small and you can take this risk.

Re: Good wallet to store Bitcoin Cash ?
by
sivesta
on 13/08/2017, 14:43:57 UTC
I'm using Coinomi currently to store all my Bitcoin cash but i want to split them and send the other half to another wallet.
Any wallet with a high security level can be used to store Bitcoin Cash ?

I would use btc.com if you want a web wallet. They have recently launched this service and it seems pretty nice. But make sure that you do not store too much in there because ultimately, it is a web wallet, and it's less secure.

For desktop clients you can basically use any of the suggested wallets on bitcoincash.org.

Personally when i split my bitcoin cash i used electron cash and had no issues. It's just a clone of electrum, for bitcoin cash. See here for a complete list of wallets that are endorse by the bitcoin cash team: https://www.bitcoincash.org/

Honestly though i would just dump my BCH as soon as i get it...
Thank you but i'm kind of looking for a software wallet or an android wallet if possible

Re: Official Topic - How to use Bitcoin Cash that are stored in Blockchain.info

Sorry it's working now
I can see my Bitcoin Cash on Coinami now after going advanced  Grin thank you

What should i do now ? Can i send all my blockchain.info credit to coinami to claim the rest ?

Since you already had bitcoins on Coinomi you converted it using the advanced derivation path. Do you want to move the bitcoins in blockchain to Coinomi or would like your BTC to remain in blockchain?

Either way you have to get the private keys. Blockchain wallet - settings - addresses - select the address with funds - more options - private key - warning - continue - copy the text below private keys, it is the private key (it's already in WIF format, you don't have to do anything) - write it down.

If Blockchain to Coinomi:

1. If you are okay with moving your BTC to Coinomi then select your bitcoin wallet in Coinomi, sweep wallet, enter the above private key and bitcoins would be transferred from Blockchain to Coinomi (0.0004 fee)

2. Then select BCH wallet, sweep wallet and enter the above private key, you will get BCH equivalent of BTC you had in blockchain wallet.

If you don't want to want move BTC from Blockchain.

3. After writing down the above mentioned private key. In blockchain you will find add option below default wallet. Create a new wallet and move your funds to it.

4. Follow step 2, BCH wallet in Coinomi.

Since you already had bitcoins in your Coinomi wallet, I guess moving your funds from Blockchain to Coinomi would be much more easier for you. Writing down the private keys of an address/s in your blockchain wallet is the most important thing.

This is the simplest way I can explain this, don't know how to get simpler than this Grin Rather than opening multiple threads for the same reason, try to understand what anyone is trying to explain, it's not rocket science, beginner's guide.

The problem is, when i go to "Blockchain wallet - settings - addresses" i see no address there, the following message show up
"Imported addresses Not supported by your recovery phrase. Transfer to a portfolio to secure funds."
