How can i recover password for lightwallet? (no sweat was just a test.)

Think very hard. That's it. You can't magically recover your password.
You can however recover the wallet if you saved the private-key or exported it.

The wallet is not lost, its just a copy wallet. Can I delete and reinstall same nem address?

I asked what was going in a few days ago.
So I have gone back and read all the pages myself that you requested and listened to all the explanations.

CECVW and Dannac it looks like you have definitely got everyone's attention in the matter.

This was your goal. You did just that.

Patmaster and Jabo388 are not involved, and Im not accusing you of saying they were.

You were concerned how they handled it at first, but you now without a doubt see Patmaster taking full participation in discussions. They are not trying to hide anything so their actions as of now should be in line with resolving the situation.

I'm sure you now see that he made this a priority to deal with in the last 10+ pages, Patmaster I'm talking about the most. I'm sure now that you got the direction you wanted.

Im sure you know that none of the devs were behind this, and it could have happened to any coin.

Im sorry your Xem was taken and used the way it was, and then you got no reward from what could not have even happened without your Xem. Sorry for that.

We probably also would know nothing about this if it wasn't for you guys either.

Im sure you understand now that Nem needs Jabo38 and Patmaster.

I ask that you now resind your request that they leave NEM. Can you do that? Also, you should stay with NEM.

I ask if you will now close this subject with one last post. I know that you dont want to harm Nem, and now that all is in the open, can you do that for me?

No worries.
What I wrote 2 posts ago was supposed to be the last one.
The last post before this one in writing right now was just in reply to a dummy mind that deserve a proper answer.
I haven't planned to post anything else about this.
I think there are enough informations visible to anyone.
Everyone can conclude from them.
To be honest with you,  I was just waiting for a reply from a couple of exchanges,  if they will turn out to be interesting,   I will post here and that's it.
I'm planning to be a fleeting viewer from now on. Only for my solace.
I will only reply,  If I feel like and if I consider it really necessary,   to whoever will keep attacking me will silly statements based on no facts.  But I really hope is not gonna happen anymore.
Regarding my staying in NEM,  no sorry, decision has been taken.
I'll get rid of of all in my possession,  as I said 2 post ago.
I wasn't the one asking to Nem Team to resign..  So...
My idea was even noblest:  whoever knew was involved would have taken proper decision in regarding that.  I know it sounds silly now,  in hindsight.
But since nobody seems guilty,  according to all the comments and posts, Well,  nothing to add from my side.
I don't think CECVW will never post here again. So don't worry about him neither.
Thanks for have been calm and polite in you post.
I appreciate that.
Have a good time with your NEM experience.
Mine just finished.
Good luck.

Welcome to my ignore list.

I created a new wallet in lightwallet. Where can I get the private key if I want to import this wallet into another wallet?

what sever(s) can I use for remote server. After every update I have to download the whole blockchain again. copying .db file doens't seem to work anymore.

Copying the file should still work but there also one on bob: http://bob.nem.ninja/nis5_mainnet.h2.db.zip (pretty recent i think)
You tech theoretically you any remote NIS as your server. There is no way for them to steal your founds. They could feed you bad data so maybe stick to the supernodes when the reward programm is up and running.
You can checkout the lightwallet and see which servers are listed there. Those should all be trustworthy.

Thanks, found them here http://chain.nem.ninja/#/nodes/ working fine now. For a next update, do I uninstall / install, or can I install / update over the old version?

Wow, 1000 pages. I never thought we'd make it here so fast!

I'd like to take this occasion to make two really special announcements.

The first is related to me personally. I have thought a lot about my life over the past year and with NEM we only have one shot at success. Therefore, I am quitting my job to work full time on NEM and building the NEM ecosystem.

Supporting me in this is my second announcement: we were able to get venture funding for building a project on top of NEM that has the potential to change the lives of billions of people. I will not to go into details yet (we are the master of the ninja launch), but I think it shows the potential for our platform, especially since we have mainstream interest in our project.

It's going to be both exciting and scary over the next several months, but let's work together to change the world for the better. We only have one shot at this.

Good luck. One free coffee for you when you are in the south of the dark continent. all others pay with Xem.  Grin

NEM is doing very good and NEM dev team too.

I would call current price just healthy, people who thought it will hit 100 million should not be disapointed by NEM, but by their naivity.
NEM is as close to crypto idealism as it gets. This is the only project where I dont fear that there is something shady going on behind the scenes...
We already know these people, we were carefully watching every step they took, every decision they made and now after 14 months we know they are not some greedy bunch trying to make fast bucks.

If you want NEM to be more succesful then you need to do something for it. These people already did a lot for you (they actually gave me 2000 dollars few months ago for free!!!) and someone has guts to complain?!

Crypto currency need only one thing - people using it, now its up to us, not up to devs.

Thank you NEM team, you guys are doing great.

Right. Xem 3846.15 for a cup of coffee in my shop. youre welcome. Devs thanks now its our turn

Hi. I can not start local harvesting getting :ERROR 401
This operation cannot be completed because it might leak a private key by sending it to a remote NIS.

And I can not delegated harvesting getting: ERROR 306
An error occurred that the development team did not have foreseen. Apologies for this, maybe a retry might help. Otherwise, please open up an issue within the NEM NIS/NCC community.

any ideas please?

Tried about anything but to no success. need help.

First one sounds like you're trying to harvest locally on a remote node which is a bad idea for the reason stated in the message.

Second one is hard to tell. Could you upload logs ?

In setting I have remote server with host 43.224.35.140 default port 7890. auto-boot with node name **** and primary account, same result.

one wallet with two accounts, one is delegated harvesting is active. both not working with above results.

In system tray: NIS is running (local node not booted), NCC is running. (2 green and one grey part in shield)

Edit: all problems solved with a clean installation with backup files. No idea what went wrong first time.

Important Note: Please understand this is just the beginning. We have just launched and from this point forward serious people cannot continue ignoring NEM. There is a lot more good stuff prepared for NEM, however, we'll have to discuss that stuff once the sand settles.

P.S. Enjoy the cheap NEM. Wink
