there have been multiple people who have figured it out. You should ask for help from the slack before writing it off.

The Wallet wasnt syncing up before and now the staking doesnt work.
And ive done a lot of MNs before, this one has some issues, atleast for the windows release.
Fix your shitcoin for the average joe or watch it going down.
I think that it simply takes 7 days every single time to mature again when it has staked cause it recombines.
Imo has nothing to do with setting up a pw or anything.

The reason im telling you to join the slack in because of the issue you are having. I am not telling you to join to listen for BS. Im telling you to join because we have a guy who has been setting up MN for people on windows and Mac. So chill out. If you still don't want to join because you think we are just going to spew some random shit on you, that is your problem. Im just saying you can get a second opinion on what you may be doing wrong.

My wallet says Payment file cannot be read its invalid or something in the taskbar baloon. Cant make out exact phrase the baloon goes off quicly for some reason in my laptop.

I have entered "staking=1" in conf file and saved it.
Wallet fully synced and the deposit transaction has over 2000 confirmation. Wallet is encrypted and unlocked for anonymization and staking only.
Anyone who is actively staking can answer me PLEASE if all this sounds correct to you. DEV seems busy with other stuff.

Made an account for this.
- Open you're wallet
- Go to 'ColossusCoinXT.conf' file and Add:
Open wallet configuration file
Add: staking=1
Close wallet and open again
- Go to send coins and send them to:
CQK5ZzR5LoJgp1mBWVdqyu2fRWokh8GVoP
- Dont have to tick the boxes.
You got to wait 7 days before coins to mature tho. This worked for me, ratio is 2:1.

Uhm why would people have to send a coin to a specific address? unless thats your address and you are trying to scam people.

Deflating the COLX economy is NOT stealing funds from the community, its quite the opposite!
People holding CV2 are still part of our community. It's the same coin, just an older implementation of it, and that's not their fault.
People should not be forced to check up on their coins every 3 months to prevent those coins from being destroyed. They paid real money for their CV2, and at 4 sats, that's still about 1.2 million dollars we're talking about.
The way we deal with CV2 will be an example for how we deal with COLX in the future. Destroying CV2 will also destroy trust in COLX, and dealing with CV2 it in a decent matter will also make COLX a trustworthy and valuable coin.
I don't want you to open your COLX wallet two years from now, expecting lots and lots of value, only to find out that your coins were replaced by some new "COLX2" coin and your value distributed amongst other people. I'm sure you would be pretty upset and angry if that happend. So let's not do that now either.
The end user should have some responsibility in knowing what they are holding. If they have something invested in a coin, they also have to keep up with the news regarding that coin. There are some people who were asking how to swap their original CV coin to CV2 when COLX was getting brought up. You just can't wait for everyone. That is why the swap is lasting for three months. So that the majority of people holding cv2 can swap to the new chain. Also, trading of CV2 will cease on nova on the 15th this month so thats another problem gone. Tl;dr due diligence is necessary.

As some people have talked about this decline of price that since there is no determined timeline for version 2 which is ARTe token it is quite normal to price. To keep the momentum up market needs some reasons and that will come with the announcement of starting date. Price will be back up easily mark my word.
this, just eyeballing the thread shows the first wave was when the ico was announced. Second wave will be when the date is set. Dev has always been on top of his shit when it comes to when he says updates will occur. He said late august for an update. It happened. He says early september, its going to happen. Just wait on it. Even if the increased mining difficulty would ensure you'd get 20 ART a day in the first years, there's still not al lot of incentive to invest IMO, as we hardly have any idea about the price per coin, and the exchanges it will be listed on. The great thing about the cryptomarket is that prices can climb with 1000% in a matter of weeks, yet with a genesis address and a fixed mining amount, that advantage becomes worthless. Hopefully, we'll be able to buy ART in bulk up front like minereum, otherwise it'd take years for an investor to break even, let alone make a profit from buying a genesis address.
thats actually a good idea. There should be some ART set aside for liquidity for the market to set up itself.

One more thing about the ico, if you are going to be asking ETH from new investors, your identity HAS TO BE KNOWN. It is part of how icos work right now if you want any serious consideration.

Hey dev, I sent you a PM discussing the proposals people have regarding this ico. The first option is having this ico as MNE only considering there should be a big incentive for supporters to move to this new coin. The second option, if eth has to stay, is that MNE supporters get a bonus percentage of ART when they participate in the ico or make the ico more expensive for eth in comparison to MNE. Both options will help supporters of the first coin.

So apparently its visible that Dev is login in here pretty much every day,but for some strange reason he does not talk to the community,so its time to break that silence because silence does not help no one ,instead share future plans and specific dates along with a lot more regular updates,than we can see the seriousness of this great project or is all for nothing..
he responded to my PM a few days ago. Said his last update on August 2nd was enough saying that he is working on the next version of Minereum. Mind you, it took 3 PMs but it got through. So, if you want to talk to him, send him a pm. if he doesnt respond, send another.
