Re: Bitstashers - Etched Metal Crypto Wallets

It’s time!

The team at BitStashers is proud to announce the launch of our very first ever (extremely) limited edition collectors set, the BitStashers Original 11! There will only be 11 created and sold.

Each box set includes 9 large wallets and 9 dog tags! The colors include: Orange, Stainless Steel, Pink, Red, Black, Green, Gold, Purple, and Blue. Each set comes in a micro fiber lined, custom designed and custom cut storage box! The box itself measures 245mm x 140mm x 77mm tall. The box and the wallet insert have a soft felt bottom to further refine the design. The private key for the wallets is hidden discreetly within the box itself. The private key is hidden and the buyer is asked not to divulge it's location. This is privileged and exclusive knowledge known only to the owner of the set. The buyer agrees to keep the location of the hidden key private. The buyer also agrees not to replicate, counterfeit, copy, etc. the design of the set. This ensures the set's authenticity.

A Certificate of Authenticity is also included, printed on fine cotton paper and sealed with an archival preservation spray and mounted on the inside of the lid. Not a detail was spared!

Each wallet is numbered to correspond to the set number. There’s also a 50% discount code included on the private key that permits the owner to purchase BitStashers products...for the life of their ownership! This is limited to one of each product. Each color and material we have is considered a separate product, just a bonus FYI! Products purchased with the discount code are not available for resale. We do encourage the owner to purchase our products and pass them to new members of the Bitcoin community, to help get them started on the right foot.

As an added bonus, since we’ve launched our BitStashers Bottle Opener range from the time of the original collectors set concept, we’ve decided to include one of the very nice Stainless Steel bottle openers with every set sold!

There will be more sets released in the future but never one as complete and comprehensive as this set! This is the ultimate set.

Keys are etched at the time of purchase, so that the buyer has the choice to use their own custom BIP38 encrypted private keys, though we can handle that for you if you’d prefer! The keys we use are securely generated on an air gapped system by Heliopay. (http://www.heliopay.com) Heliopay will then send you the BIP38 password. We never see it.

Once the last set is sold, all related design files will be permanently deleted publicly via video to ensure this set can NEVER be made again!

Sets 7,8,9,10 and 11 will be sold for a fixed price of 1.30BTC, plus shipping fees. A non refundable deposit of 0.05BTC will be needed to reserve a set. Once that payment is received, a product code and instructions will be emailed to complete the transaction of the final 1.25BTC. We did it this way so an escrow can be used if the buyer chooses. (buyer pays escrow fees) We wanted that option available to our buyers. @minerjones has agreed to handle the escrow for these purchases.

Once those sets are sold, sets 2,3,4,5, and 6 will be sold in an auction format with the highest bidder receiving the set. Auction details will be released once sets 7-11 are sold.
Set 1 is already sold. All payments must be received in advance of shipping. The sets will be securely packaged and shipped to ensure the set arrives in perfect condition. A lot of love went into the creation of this set and we don't want to see it damaged during shipping.

We would like to send a shout out to @lauda for providing input in the design of the set! We also would like to send a shout out to @Vizique for his input and assistance through the entire creation process!

If you have any questions about this beautiful limited edition collector set, please feel free to ask and we’ll get back to you as quickly as possible! If you’re a collector of Bitcoin memorabilia, can you really afford to miss this opportunity? A lot effort went into the creation of this set and we are super excited to pass the final product on to you! Our intentions were to create a collectors set unlike anything seen before. We hope we succeeded in that quest for you and trust that you will enjoy it.

Thanks,

The BitStashers Team

So we're what, 7 months in?

And still no game, no company, no answers to reasonable questions?

"Investors" (marks) are being tapped for more money...and the shills are still shilling hard?

Have I covered everything?

Still no registered company?  Still no game?  Didn't think so...

Btw, wasn't there a load of money raised through a crowd sale? Did anyone ever keep track of that?  Have the team behind ionomy been eating especially well in recent months?

Re: Brexit - why is Sterling dropping
by
skinnyboy
on 04/10/2016, 21:36:38 UTC
Sterling is dropping because that's probably what the banking infrastructure, who effectively set the bounds with in which other players may trade, have decided will happen.

In reality there are so many different factors that affect the relative value of any currency or commodity that's it's impossible to pin down any one thing.

As a side note, I noticed a couple of people claiming the UK is doomed, we're finished etc etc.  I'm curious why those of you who think that right now seem to think that being part of the sinking ship that is the EU would help us.

Let's face it, the EU institution and it's insane currency are doomed.  That doesn't mean Europe is & out of the flames might emerge something that looks like the remains of a EU, a smaller council, and a number of overlapping trading blocks across Europe.

Don't let anyone tell you we won't be trading with our European friends.  We will continue to trade.

Big thanks to the five fraudster's FUDsters that take time to post FUD at every opportunity

I wonder how many of you are using this as a tactic to buy cheap ION Smiley

honestly i doubt anyone posing legit questions/concerns here is some sort of double agent. and honestly, i might've bought some "cheap" ions if indeed the game gravity was released, and the application of the coin(s) was demonstrated. i mean the game looks lame as hell, but at least it would've been a proof of concept.

When someone says honestly it means they normally lie but this time they are being honest....

Your joking right this is BCT the place where people post anonymously

No matter how good an site is, if you do not get it reach to the public, and if the public do not know about your site, that is fail.

Promotion is the key to any business to get it success. You have to advertise well to get enough people and exchangers.

No matter how bad an site is, if it gets promoted in right way, you get success.

Totally and utterly agree.  Advertising really is the way to go.

With that in mind, might I be a cheeky fecker & ask y'all to consider checking out www.facebook.com/BitStashers and liking the page if you find us interesting please?  We make BIP38 encrypted laser etched steel and ally wallets (variety of colours available) and the main wallets can be custom designed to personalise them to you or your business.

We do dog tags too, they're pretty popular.

And Bottle openers now.

hey, OP, apologies.  But y'know, with your next venture, go spread the word ;-)

Re: Why Bitcoin is the best future currency?
by
skinnyboy
on 30/09/2016, 15:00:55 UTC
Yes it is so it means no one can take that from you physically and you will not lost it with clumsiness.  The fact that it could di anything and everything a fiat currency can do makes it the best future currency.  Less time to transfer money and without hassle.  Also its price grows unlike ordinary fiat currency.

Nope. Not everything yet. There are so much to be done to make it like a fiat can do. Pushing merchants to make a retail store in the market or in the mall is hard which accepts bitcoin. So basically people even those who have bitcoin tends to exchange it to fiat first for usage.

As someone who has  spent a lot of time trying to get merchants on board with using bitcoin, I'll tell you now that there are several key issues which affect a merchants choice whether to accept it or not:

1) is it easy to set myself up, or will it take hours?

2) Are the per transaction fees better than I can get from a normal credit card payment processor?

3) Are the withdrawal fees for the converted fiat acceptable?

4) Are the limits for withdrawal to a business bank acceptable given an expected volume of trade?

For the most part payment processors still can't come up with a complete package which satisfies all those requirements and till they do the only merchants who will accept it are those with a personal interest in the subject.

Would people please stop saying bitcoin is anonymous?

It isn't anonymous, it's pseudo anonymous at best. You have to go to some effort if you want actual privacy on a public blockchain like btc.

Apologies if it sounds like a rant, I happen to think it's important that what information we share here is as accurate as possible though :-)

So, to save me catching up and reading through endless pointless arguments, can I just ask a quick catch up question?

is there a game yet?

Yes, I have seen it on my screen. It will be released when it's ready.

Is there a registered company yet?
[/quote]

Yes there is.

Ta muchly, whoever responds :-)

You are welcome. Any other questions?

Ty Smiley

Two more questions:

Has the "roadmap" so to speak, been updated to reflect the the fact that the initial game release is months behind schedule?

Where are the details for the registered company?

Also, I read recently that Singapore has tightened up its laws reg crypto, has this had any effect on the legal position claimed by whoever is behind ionomy?

No.

The ION team says there is a registered company in singapore.  But it does not show up in any official records.

So, "no", then.

Can't pretend I'm shocked.

I figured it'd be a good move to put my name out there and let the bitcoin community know that I'm a stakeholder in BitStashers and I'm the one responsible for social media posts and advertising.

We've launched several banner ad campaigns across Bitcoin based ad networks over the last few weeks.  you might have seen a few, with the aim of driving more traffic to and increasing the number of likes on our facebook page ( https://www.facebook.com/BitStashers ).

We're also on twitter, @bitstashers and we're currently giving away two of our etched metal bottle openers.  They've helped start a few conversations about bitcoin recently, so if you're looking for a cool ice breaker which doubles up as a secure BIP38 encrypted bitcoin (or altcoin) wallet, pop to the store and pick one up.

Anyway, just so you all know who I am, my name is Matt, my website is in my sig, I've been working as a digital currency consultant for over a year now, working with business, charities, writers and students, I've provided education sessions at CoinFestUK (I'll be returning next year) and I'm due to talk at a university in Greenwich, London, next month during a "fintech week" they've arranged.

So, now we're better acquainted, why not let me know what you'd like to order from our store, and how you'd like it personalised :-)

Seems to be a bit of a big assumption.  Any blockchain based evidence to back up this assertion?

Seriously how many times.......... this ain't no paycoin

Haven't you got anything better to do ??

You must have lost a shit load of money to be so butt sore

Not sure if you maybe missed the point of what he's getting at.

He's pointing out that the probable future of Ion is exactly the same as another crap coin which the current Ionomy team had a hand in working with, as well as numerous other crap coins that have been created by scammers, or people who reached beyond their capabilities.

haha based on what ? this person is one of those that under the banner of doing a public service is pushing his own little agenda.

Ionomy's first game is soon to be launched..... Is it gonna be any good............ that's gonna be subjective.

What's not subjective though is the group have spent time, money & effort on making it happen. If this were a scam then it would be the shittest scam on the planet when you consider all the effort you would need to invest to make your first million  Grin

Except, based on what I've read, they've not invested their money, they've invested other peoples.  And there's no way to be sure that that money has been spent wisely.

If I was a less scrupulous person I could claim to be creating something special, get everyone else ot pay for it, put out a half assed job, just so I can say "Look I did it" then walk away with the rest of the money.  It's all about being able to claim you've made a fair and reasonable effort.

Btw, what ever happened to the whole company registration thing?  is there even a company by the name Ionomy PTE registered in Singapore yet?
