hey, mining rig has crashed twice over the last 2 days and somehow uninstalled the amd driver with it....never had this happen before...using windows 10 64 bit, amd 12.20.1 driver, with 5.5c, running 3 580s and a 6800xt

Unplug the 6800xt and run with just the the 580, I will bet it will be stable again. I am fighting this same demon with a 5600xt in my 570/580 rig. Still looking for a solution.

Dear Phoenix Miner Dev,

With the impending end of life for ethereum mining in the near future any plans to add Ravencoin to the mix since other progpow crypto is already on the list?

Hey guys,

After successfully tweaked a RX 480 8gb to do ~29 mh/s @ 85w, I got hands at a RX 5600 Asrock, with with the following settings:

- cclock= 1400 MHz
- cvddc= 930 mV
- mclock= 1800 MHz
- mvddc= 850 mV

Getting 39.143 MH/s and Effective speed @ ethermine ~ 39.73- 45 mh/s, consuming 103w and 200w @ the wall.

And it's stable for about 49 hours straight.

Does someone has a better config? I was playing around on some clocks and vddc but this are the only ones that I found that were stable enough to make through a +24hrs.

FYI, just waiting for some risers to throw the both AMD's and a Gigabyte 1060 on a rig  Grin Grin

I'm pretty sure you can get 41 mh and under 60W power draw with 5600

how many cards? Try give 50-60gb

6 gpu in each rig.

how to increase?
 i have 16000 to 32000

i must type it in advanced settings?

1gb = 1024Mb
8Gb per card = 8192Mb vm space needed
8192Mb * 6 cards = 49125Mb vm space needed for the rig

Hey guys. I have an extremely low hash rate performance on my 6xRadeon RX570 4Gb cards rig. Around 3-4 Mh/s per card during ETH mining on nanopool.org.

Installed recommended AMD 20.11.1 version of drivers. Compute mode is on. Core clock 1150, Memory clock 1850.  Why it can be? Any suggestions?

Try reading the miner information on the 1st page. 4Gb cards are basically useless now.

RX 570 seems to have 13 to 15 ish hashrate in Whattomine. Is this real or the web page become buggy?

That's 4Gb, whattomine doesn't have 570 4gb and 8gb option. 4gb is no longer relevant for eth. If you have 570 with 8gb use the 580 (which defaults to 8gb)

You can't mine etc on 4Gb at all anymore, try etc or other ethash coins.
OK, and what about Aeternity? It looks still promising with rx580 4Gb cards.. or do you think it's a waste of resources?

You can check whats profitable for cpu mining on whattomine and decide. Ethereum is the only crypto currently out of the 4Gb capability.

Can you help me please. I have 4x Rx580 and 1x Rx5700, and amd driver randomly crashed. In log i can see hashrate of rx5700 jump high 469mh, and drop to 0mh.

The same thing happens on 20.9.1 and 20.11.2 version driver. I revert default clock for rx5700 and problem it happens again.

Do you have advice how to solve this problem.

i use 5.4c Phoenix miner.

Are yo using the phoenix miner's hardware control? ie. cclock, mclock, tt
If so, is the AMD wattman running in the background as well? If these 2 are both implemented your rig will crash with the symptoms you are describing (hash dropping to 0), guess how i know lol. I deleted all HW controls from the phoenix startup, I now run 24/7 with 0 crash for weeks.

Hi all, I want to change cards, I'm actually using rx580Nitro+ 4GB, but want to go for either rx580Nitro+ 8GB or gtx1070, or vega 56, considering prices, which is the best option at the present time? Even other cards would be fine, which is the best compromise for power consumption/price/hashrate now? Thanks in advance

While changing cards, is it a good idea to use 4GB cards to mine another currency? Or would it be better to still use them on ETH even with low profit?

You can't mine etc on 4Gb at all anymore, try etc or other ethash coins. As for the price of GPUs, good luck finding 1, that is if you are willing to pay 2-3x over retail for one. Even used gpus on eBay is selling at 2x the retail of a brand new one. Anything with less than 8Gb is useless for eth.

hello guys, help me to mine with dual mining.

to stay eth on ethermine, and to mine another coin with its pool thanks

Good luck with that, dual mine ONLY work with Blake2s as secondary (according to Phoenix), I tried many times using different pools and even the default nicehash in the miner documents, it just doesn't work. The miner will show connection to the pool but will not start hashing.

hi. could anybody help me with this issue: Are the lower gt values for faster performance? I have 6 5700xt from the same company but each time I run phoenix miner it initializes them with different gt values from 23 to 59.iwana know which is better and faster for my cards 23 or 59? I should point out that in phoenix miner 5.1c I had experienced gt numbers from 6 to 10 but in the last version, I had the numbers 23 to 59!

GT value is not one way, going higher or lower from the optimum value will decrease the hash rate and may cause instability. Leave it on auto tune as recommended.

Is it still possible to mine successfully with RX580 8 GB on Windows 7?

I'm not able to reach higher than 10.5 MH/s with the latest AMD driver (with compute mode enabled through registry). Older drivers gives me invalid shares.

You are not in compute mode

Just wondering for those who are dual mining, is the miner mining both at full hash rate or do you sacrifice hash rate on both? Is it worth it to dual mine?

Does anyone know the procedure to resetting OTP security? I replaced my phone and now I can't edit my account settings.
I see an option for OTP reset but its says it would take 2 weeks, does this mean that I would have to wait for 2 weeks to receive the reset email?

Any help is appreciated. By the way I sent an email to contact@miningpoolhub and no response.

I would really love to see a screen shot of ANYONE that can pump out more than 30 MH/card on (12+ per rig) RX 580 cards and hash stable for more than 24 hrs. No matter what I try it just will not happen. As soon as I push to 30 or higher, the rig will start to crash. I used to tune individual cards and get higher hash rate but that function has been broken since forever ago. So I would really love to see if anyone out there is actually able to achieve this.
Here You Go man: My 12 Card RIG with 8* RX580 8GB, RX5700, 3* RX5700XT

I appreciate your screen shot but it only shows your rig at 47 min. I was asking if anyone can show a rig running 30+ MH for more than 24 hr.

Are you kidding? My 570's work with 31.7-31.9 Mh, and 580's with 32.2-32.4 Mh for 3 years without issues. They are on 12 card rigs which used to work with windows, now with smos. Only the last night the 4Gb cards hanged during the epoch change but with a reboot they worked well again.  On my main computer with windows 10, the 580 8Gb card is hashing with 32.220 with claymore straps and -rxboost 1. I raised only the mem clock to 2100. I could raise it to 2170 and I will get another 0.300 Mh, but I prefer not to, so that I can use the computer freely and watch videos with no issues.

So you have been running 24/7 for 3 years without crash? Again, would you mind showing me a screen shot and your bat file?

Can someone report hashrate for AMD RX 570/580 4Gb on linux or windows 7 ?
Is bigger or the same than on Win10 ? Today i have only 22Mhz...

Thankyou!

I have 8Gb 580/570 on Win 10 and they range from 29-31 MH, never used 4Gb cards not sure what the hash speed difference would be.

Is there anyone using the latest Windows 10 and and updates running PM 5.3b on a 580 (moded bios) rig not restarting constantly please share their config file settings?

I have tried lowering clock speed, mining intensity, larger virtual mem but nothing seems to improve the stability. I miss the days when the rich would run for days without restarting. Now i would be lucky to get a full hour before the damn thing restarting again and again.  Huh
