Crypto trading works off of supply and demand...the more you have of a product the more it typically is worth less in value. The less you have of a product, the more it is worth, but This only works if it is a product that a majority of the people want.
Nearly every coin out there has no real reason for demand anyways. No shops etc.
Only fancy logo, nice name, morale & confidence boosting dev, good marketing etc.
Now that we lost that initial momentum due to CT, it's VERY difficult to gain it back.
Only real way to get it back is BTC-e IMO. I doubt Cryptsy will make as good impact.

yeah UTC had great momentum, then some lag and 2 hacks....but thats in the past....im giving it a major injection in a few months when i get some asics..until that time i will use 30000 utc to make things happen
What exactly are the asics going to do to help Utc and the comunity? I have heard you say you have been busy and spending a lot of time with asics details. What does this mean and would the time have been better spent on the developement of your coin?
it means i will have alot of money to spend on utc when i get them...new websites, new services

My interpetation of what Bumface is saying:

copy your wallet.dat file to flash drive, or send it to yourself via email. you could set up an email account solely for wallet.dat files so no one would ever know.....
Where is the file located for the wallet? I cant seem to find it and i have it showing all files and hidden files.

MINTPAL SUCKS, been over 24 hours and my account is still locked. Anyone know how to get ahold of them besides support and tweet? I have tried both and niether get results. Am i just basically screwed and my coins are locked for life?

A word of warning to all mintpal traders, DO NOT GET LOCKED OUT OF YOUR ACCOUNT! It has been 24 hours and i have sent 7 support tickets, tweeted them and still no reply whatsoever. It seems they have no support in place and who knows how long it will take to get my account unlocked. Just wanted to warn all of you.
Anyone know how to get mintpal to unlock your account besides submitting tickets? Been trying since yesterday and no response from them. I had caps on and didnt realize it untill i was locked out and they wont respond to my tickets.

Unless u pay some for UTC or BTC for him then we can get to Cryptsy, twitt or face could'n get utc to this site. And with this low price, i don't think we have any chance.
We would already be in the top 10 for volume on Cryptsy most days. They aren't adding us for other reasons apparently.
Where did u hear this? If there was no change of been listed in Cryptsy bumface would have told us. I have been bombarding him with tweets all day. Surely we haven't been wasting our time. Where did u hear this or is it just FUD?

Pointing ALL my hash power at UTC right now, only getting 70-75KH/s per 280x, but they are also pulling a LOT less power than normal scrypt and it's helping out the cause, still not sold any of my mined coins, hoarding them all up 
about 85kh/s on my 7970 @ 1250/1850 clock speeds.
You should be getting at least 110 KH/s with each 280x/7970. (Over 130KH/s if you have 8GB of RAM or more)

tyvm 170kh/s with that 280x config. much much better.
guess that solves the hw errors without dropping the intensity down to much.
So i need more system ram? I only have 2 gigs and that has been enough up till now. Guess i better order some. Will use the rig for something else on the future anyway i guess.

Is 75khs per 280x what others are getting? I thought it was suppose to be around 130khs?
I have tried everything to get my pair of 280x mining. Best i can get is 70khs each. I only have 2gigs of system ram but never had a problem before with it. Anyone have a good working scrypt for 280x cards? If the ram is a problem i may just have to mine a alt coin and sell for UTC.
