I've loved the widget but with MTGOX circling the drain, all this widget is accomplishing is scaring my wife.

I don't like keeping my money on a phone, I feel like it's easy to compromise.
I just use the old fashioned computer stored wallet, with my backups. When I know I can't be home, I just send the bitcoins to blockchain.
Agreed, shouldn't carry the entire bank roll with me on my phone, but for spending BTC when not home I think a non-web based wallet is about as secure as we can hope for. (if you want to grab something online while at work, you'll have to go through the office proxy which will bypass any https security you have with blockchain or whoever)I just use the old fashioned computer stored wallet, with my backups. I've got my own electrum server linked with my own bitcoind daemon so I'm relying on as few others as possible.

Looks like it requires iOS 7, which hasn't been jailbroken yet AFAIK.

Not for one's main wallet, but if you're out and about and need to spend .5 BTC on something, running home to the heavily firewalled wallet server kinda limits the User Acceptance Factor of BitCoin.
