100K GRAs bounty for any shops/services/games accept Grain!

:O Yipes mate that's almost more GRA than I have been able to mine with the puny hashrate I've put at it, and I've been mining since day 1. haha

Might take you up on that game/service building offer if I get some extra time this week.

Hey bee7!

I wondered why I got 10,000G last night! That is quite a bungle. Was about to ask since it came from the previous address you sent me the additional block rewards from.

I am returning the 10,000G you sent - the 0.0563 transaction fee, wish it was more so I could return a larger portion of what you lost.

Please send me a PM or quote me to let me know you got it back.

Cheers mate

Great service. It would be nice if it broke them down by which geographical location the rig was in as well. Keep up the good work.

A minor issue, but since the last time we updated, the startup grain logo has lost its transparency. I'm sure it was transparent before, but now it has a white background.
Never been transparent for me. Always white, no matter what what version I have used.

Windows 8.1 here. Always white background also.

Anyone want to see why I'm in a happy mood about Grain today?

http://i.imgur.com/qSzPzmV.jpg

As you can imagine, I was pretty stoked when I got home and wondered why my total coins looked a little higher than I expected.

Talk about luck.

Woah! Wish I hit those haha. Nice job mate. Congrats! I tried soloing again last night and with my 190kh hit two small blocks in around 12hr. Talked to the forkpool admin as requested but isn't interested in helping out the miners on that pool with the bonus due to diff so recon I am gonna mine solo for a bit even tho the payouts are smaller and keep buying on coined.

Not such a good idea to mine on a laptop bondi, you can burn out the gpu from the heat.

Ah, thanks Nullu. I see. Yeah, I tried some solo but I didn't get much since I noticed the diff was swinging like crazy so I jumped back on the pool. My hash rate is only bout 190k on the machine that sits and mines GRAIN. I didn't quite get why the extra compensation but it makes sense now. Didn't want to be arsed reading back over the 50 pages or so but guess should have. Wink

Hey Chums,

Been mining GRAIN off and on since day one. I've been around the ALT and BTC for a long time, I just never registered at the forums but GRAIN is actually the whole reason I finally decided to lob in. LTC didn't even do that. I've been following since day 1, and kudos to bosian to fixing the issues quickly and keeping everyone happy with giveaways and updates. I missed out on the support give away by not being a forum member, but no matter because I was there right with you guys watching and refreshing. Waiting to see if bosian would come through. Props also to Jollyburner and bee7. Smiley

Well, just letting you devs know I had a bit of a bingle. Just after the POS split, when everything came back online I jumped in and torqued a whole bunch of blocks. Only thing was when I mined them I did it on a copy of the new wallet because the machine that had my GRAIN wallet on it wasn't with me... and... the idiot part is that I overwrote the wallet once I had sent the coins out of the wallet. Never thought I would need that address again. hahaha. Pulled a donger on that. Live and you learn right?

I believe it's everything that went:
93wWUn932xvqZMmv51kRHE6ibrMmMPx3aA

The second address of the other wallet that everything was emptied to is:
96NHs5GSngVA4Nb5fZEygHJusNRXtnvUqM

You can see that in the block explorer.

Just wanted to let you know, if you are running through and sending out missing POS or block awards DON'T send anything to that address.
That wallet is EMPTY (check the block explorer) and it will go into a black hole never to be seen again!

I purchased a bunch of DOGE/GRAIN on coined in an effort to float the prices in an upward direction and then sent them to my wallet so that I could get the POS. It's a GREAT incentive for me to keep them.

Thanks again for building a GREAT coin mate. I have the most faith in this one for the long haul of any the other ones I have mined lately... and I like to hold... not dump.

Re: Hello every one is there any way to convert btc to paypal for free
by

I would be wary of any service offering to do this mate. Paypal to BTC or BTC to Paypal in any rate is considered taboo. Especially since they are a closed system, it goes against the whole cryptocoin principle. Paypal also doesn't like to deal with any sort of coin exchanges through their "service" and won't support you if the transactions go pear shaped. I have heard stories of people having their accounts banned for doing coin exchanges. Best to convert into fiat currency and then move it to Paypal.

Re: What is your opinion about Alt-coins?
by

on 16/01/2014, 09:24:08 UTC
I mine a couple different ALTs. It is all about what kind of setup you have and what time/power you are willing to put into it. For me it didn't cost anything since I had most of the hardware laying around and power isn't an issue. My personal opinion on the ALTs is that until they have some kind of weight behind it like BTC does, other than speculation, meme-fame, or uniqueness for the sake of a name change they will just be coins for trade only. I still mine them, and it is fun but as I have said before. I like to gamble. Currently I mine DOGE, GRAIN, 42 and just about anything new that comes along for at least a couple days to build up a wallet with some in it. I play the long game tho and hold, I don't just dump them and run. Doge has shown some interesting prospect for gains but only for the reason of good marketing however marketing is everything. The price jump in BTC from October to December shows that. You don't necessarily need to have a better or unique product. It just has to be a product as good as the others. As long as it does the same functions and is well supported, the rest can be hype. It's Pepsi vs Coke vs RC Cola.
