Re: The traders mindset
by

That is why you should learn deeper about trading so you know what you need to do based on the current situation. You can not trading without making analysis because that can lead you lose your money. If you can analyze the market before you trade, you will see the chance to make a profit. You will know when you enter and quit trading because you can see that from your analysis so you can directly act according the situation.

A good trader will control their emotions and not involve it in trading because that can disturb their analysis and make them difficult to decide. Trading is fun but they know how to handle the risk not to become big.

Trading is about knowledge converted into experience, and said experience - into profit.
However, emotions sometimes block the potential of your sessions - they may help in some situations, but mostly, they push you toward acting irrationally, which is bad, of course.
Excessive emotion destroys your hard work. You need to be experienced to use the knowledge of trading. Experience gives you profit. I myself spend time and activity by observing the market for trading. The situation of price decline makes you emotional which should be converted into patience.

So even if they might say that they are ready for either up or down prices, they might end up not really being prepared because they ended up over-investing in light of their own mental preparedness.
Halving 2024 I released all Bitcoin holdings that had been DCA for 4 years (maybe it's too early to release it but as a small retailer the economic situation is not always friendly), full of twists and turns and indeed as you said it is not easy to win mentally from the fluctuating price situation when the financial condition is getting thinner but I have gone through all that. From the sales I managed to build my dream house.

Now facing the next 4 years I will start DCA again with full preparation from before, with strategies and all the shortcomings that have been evaluated.

I secretly learned a lot from all your opinions about DCA. Cheesy
Congratulations on your building that's a Good news especially if you from Nigeria.
Your statement I will start means you haven't started yet and it's quite risky been a Nocoiner
Now you can't buy even at the price you sold.
Mind you am not against your decision but atleast I think leaving some wouldn't had hurt.
Aside hurt it’s advisable not to clear everything base on bitcoin price growing gradually, starting might be difficult currently whereby an investor starts from zero point. I guess sometimes withdrawing strategy is totally different from dca and not so easy. It’s pretty nice to know about bitcoin profit making besides 4 years is so long it seems few are ready to sell now but if they’ve gotten to a balanced level selling can be considered.
Now is the time to try to get more grip on your bitcoin holdings. People hoping to get small profits should not put themselves in line and continue with DCA method honestly and for long term. Rather than focusing on price, investors should focus on accumulating bitcoins with a view to increasing their holdings until they touch $100k. $100k is a starting point consideration for running a long-term DCA strategy.

The new threat is the soldiers of North Korea. Can NATO troops enter Ukraine now?
Although not overtly, the soldiers of many NATO countries are participating in the war on behalf of Ukraine and receiving a lot of military equipment from them. About 1,500 North Korean fighters are already ready to fight against Ukraine on behalf of Russia. I think Russia should have that right.

Re: Short Trade!

Short selling in bull run can be dangerous, but still when I see a resistance zone I can't stop myself from short selling! what yours opinion in this case? Should I continue short selling in this bull run, or should prevent myself from doing this?

I would never short during a bull market but if you absolutely have to, then at the very least make sure you have a stop loss strategy that will avoid your entire position from being liquidated. Some people keep adding more funds to their positions but in my own subjective view, that usually goes wrong. It is probably better to cut your losses.
An effort should be made to hold yourself back in a bull market even though you may have a small profit potential. For long-term market manipulation, it is a better decision to tend to accumulate. Emphasis on holdings and ensuring appropriate use is placed on investors to create that situation. In order to get higher profits one should tend to accumulate rather than drift with the market movements.

Re: Can ETH surpass BTC?
by
smelody
on 09/10/2024, 15:22:56 UTC

Theoretically, it is possible. But the thing is that bitcoins are limited in number. Hence, you can consider bitcoin as very valuable and rare. For this, it is impossible for ethereum to surpass bitcoin's price. As when people will see bitcoins price declining, they will instantly buy as many bitcoins as they can, hence increasing that demand to accumulate the bitcoin. Ethereum surely has the quality to become a big crypto currency, but I highly doubt that it will cross the bitcoins.

It can be ascertained that ethereum is difficult to surpass bitcoin, even though they are both on the blockchain because they have their respective functions, and are on their way, by looking at both cryptos there is a risk of fluctuating depending on the time to see the situation.

It's not the main point of either BTC or ETH to be above each other or other coins, so you are right - both have their pros and it's alright, no matter what, two are the big coins out there to be utilized by their appropriate communities.
I chose BTC for long-term investment and ETH for short-term trading as these two cryptos have high profit potential. Investors should choose any one of these currencies and prepare for profit.

Re: Day trading or Long term
by
smelody
on 27/09/2024, 12:27:40 UTC
Day trading is like some who needed a instant profit, and what someone who ventures into day trading does is to make a quick profit and go out from the market, why long-term trading is determined by the future you in a particular coin you want to invest, most of the people that venture into day trading always have the vision of making small profits why people who invest for long-term kind of investment is expecting a large profits, this two trading methods you mentioned you most have objectives that's you to choose one, but newbie doesn't know why they chose a day trading or neither long-term trading
Someone thinks they want to get quick profits, even though it is small but if it is achieved consistently then it will also grow bigger, but people forget that it does not always work, because in trading there can be profits and losses. Indeed, quick profits will be more tempting, because profits can be enjoyed at the same time, but the problem is that it is not easy.

Consistency in getting profits is the key, but back to the beginning because it is not easy then it will make people frustrated. Some people ignore the risk, they focus too much on the profit which ultimately makes many people fail in trading.
To keep consistency in profits it's very difficult, i think it's impossible to even for an experienced trader, in the crypto trading risks is higher than profits, who peoples ignore the risk they will definitely lose all of their initial investment, and such mistakes come from beginners, they thinking there are no loss in trading.
One should stick to alternative income systems rather than considering trading as a profession due to its riskiness. Trading can sometimes give you high profit and also high risk so it is better to invest with caution and patient.
