Look at the market cap.  There's less MCO coins so each coin cost more.  Whoever sells in US first skyrockets. 

On Biostar Z270GT6, the only option for selecting gen1,gen2,gen3 are under something called "max-link".  When doing initital setup, I wasn't sure what "max-link" is and the description didn't have any clues on PCIE. 

But i managed to get nvOC to boot up by using a different USB (same brand, same type, ordered 2).  Im reluctant to reboot mobo at least for another 3-4 days!

Love this OS.   

I've been using a new mobo:  Biostar Z270GT6; got it to work all day yesterday on 5 GPUs.  Tinkered a bit today, tried to boot mobo, got pass BIOS screen, then got spammed with PCIE bus error severity=corrected.  It just spammed and spammed non stop, and would probably never stop if I hadn't powered down.

PS:  32GB USB still has some imaging issues, I've tried reformatting without the "quick" option, and tried both NTFS and FAT32. 

I noticed a second terminal can be run that auto executes the onebash script, essentially running two (?) instances of ewbf miner on the same PC.  Sol/s drops 30%, but i exited the second one before seeing any results.  I might test it out more later, i wonder if i can run 2 instances, but at 70% solo rate; which still nets 40% more. 

I'm sure people here and full zero mustk now this doesn't work in the way i'm thinking.

anyone having issues where, after imaging the USB (Sandisk extreme 32 GB, recommended on here), the USB location disappears from file explorer?  Its still there when I run diskpart.

Using Biostar Racing Z270 GT6:  set maxTOLUD, did not set security settings (no option in Z270).

A few questions and problems::

1) Plugging in a second GPU (via risers, 1st GPU also via risers) causes the motherboard to black screen on boot.  Here's a teamviewer screenshot of how it looks like (display stopped working when a 2nd GPU came in, had to remote in with teamviewer).   http://imgur.com/a/H5flW

2) The closest PCIE to the CPU is a 1x, then a 16x.  Which slot is considered my "primary GPU"?  Is it the 16x?

I have zcash-cli installed on another partition (ubuntu17) my SSD Drive, and i'm running nvOC from a USB. 

While I'm in nvOC, is there a way i can run zcash-cli from that SSD? without installing it again for nvOC

I have both ubuntu 17 and nvOC (from USB) on the desktop. 

This command: nvidia-smi -q -d CLOCK

Gave around 1800 MHZ while on Ubuntu but on nvOC it gave 119 MHZ?  GPU2 shows 19 MHZ !!!

IS this the display bug i heard about? - where it was incorrectly showing the MHZ?

Also:  Since i have ubuntu17 partition on the SSD, how do I get the nvOC patitioned on there too?  - so that i can unplug the extremely fast 32-gig USB i used to boot nvOC? Thanks all <--- PS major newb here

ok! i will do that with a 32gb! I bought a 16gig earlier today but the v015 is just a bit larger than the 15.5 gig or so on the usb drive!

I imaged an external hard-drive that is now connected to the new motherboard.  I booted it up, went into BIOS to set the external hard-drive as boot priority, save & reboot, then it brings me to the screen linked in imgur. 

If i select "*ubunto" it loads some lines of code, where it keeps saying "critical error", still finished then asks for m1-desktop-login.  If i enter something for login, then it asks for PW.  Do i need to register a user/pw with ubunto? 

Also, i have all GPU's unplugged from the mobo since only way i can get display to work is by doing that and using the port on the mobo.

Gotcha.  Since I'm mining ZEC, but currently havent set up an address yet, i guess the obvious is to wait until I have a ZEC address before booting ?

also, if i want to change the onebash file later on, do I have to change it on windows ( my laptop) or can i do it directly in ubunto?  Thanks again =)

Total noob here:  I have a new rig just built and i'm trying to decide which OS to boot onto it. 

Given i have no OS right now, does nvOC also serve as the OS?  Or do i have to DL ubunto first?

I'm asking because i went ahead and imaged nvOC anyways, booted it onto the rig, saw a lot of critical core errors, saw the ubunto loading screen and now its asking for m1-desktop-login.
