@GreXX i’m also a node.js addicted fan! Is there a possibility to get the current source for review?

Anybody?

I would like to check on your development, and see if i can give you a hand on it! I’m free at the moment maybe i could come in handy!

So you consistently come into our thread and talk about how NODE is better than us, you are an avid visitor and fan to the NODE thread and have offered to work for them, and you want our source code?

IMO one of 2 things is happening here. Either you are working for the NODE team and due to the fact that they hit a hurdle you want to see if our code can help, or you are trying to get both of our source codes to develop something of your own. You haven't been here in like a month, so I seriously question the motivation here.

If he really wants to help, get him to help you with public testing as Wulfcastle suggested because you need this help, but don't cut outsiders out like this, people expressing interest in XCR isnt even big right and what you do doesnt help this.... especially continuessly talking down on another currency, how's this doing XCR any good?

This guy, even if he was somewhat insulting while doing so was talking about the db structure/opt issues while back and how Node was better at this, and for the record lol they were and are currently and thats reality, and now you're on that, so surely, he's offered you good advice thus far even if he did not tell you it in a sunshine and flowers kinda way because currently it isn't...... this is getting ridiculous

You shouldn't share XCR SC sure, but in it's current form it's gonna help Node, really? We've hit a hurdle too, remember?

Wake up!

You missed the part where he was offering his help by wanting access to the code. Hello

I quoted this from many pages back and seemed to got lost and ignored. I am still having this problem. Anybody else use windows wallet successfully? Every single time I use my window wallet to send it makes 2 confirmations then resets to 0 confirms and repeats over and over in a loop. After some hours if I log out and back in then my balance returns to the original as if I never attempted the send. I've done this many times. I've tried it on windows 7, 8, and 2 laptops with 8.1. My windows wallet shows the correct blocks and when Bter sends me xcr the window wallet shows the correct balance. Its just all send attempts fail. Please this is obvious very important. Anybody else uses window wallet successfully?

Boris is working on the wallet the past few days, and should have an updated version ready when the testing om testnet is complete.

Instead of using your PC based wallet, try using the crypti.me wallet to send your coins.

Thanks for the answer. I know the online wallet works. I just wanted to let it be known there is a problem with the windows wallet since that will be the most important one for most people.

I'm using the Windows wallet. It seems to be working in that I received successfully some xcr from bter. But when I try to send to another account after 1 or 2 confirmations the synchronizing block message flashes in the bottom and then the confirmation for that transaction resets to zero. Then it starts over again getting 1 to 2 confirms and then resetting back to no confirms. Eventually after checking back later in the day or next day the transaction disappears and the xcr are returned as if it never happened. So my received xcr from bter shows up on my windows wallet and checks out with the blockchain explorer. But any sends using windows wallet never go through and never shows in the blockchain explorer.

Could it be you're sending it to Cryptsy/Poloniex accounts? They ain't updated to latest network yet

I am sending to another xcr account of mine. But I suspect it wouldn't matter who I sent to. Seems my windows wallet doesn't send properly. I'm on a fork? If I am why does my bter withdrawal show up correctly in my windows wallet which matches blockchain explorer records. But all sends from my wallet are never properly confirmed and eventually go away and blockchain explorer has no acknowledgement they existed.

Do you have version 7?

Version 6 had a forking problem that was fixed in version 7.  Now the node checks for forks every other block and fixes the blockchain.  If  either of your wallets is version 6, you need to update them.

Only Bter is on the new wallet, as 5000 explained.  We are waiting for Cryptsy and Polo to update.  They have been contacted numerous times and asked  to do so.

I'm using 0.1.7. I just did another send as a test and now over 10 minutes no confirms. Something wrong on my end.

Online Web wallet (https://wallet.crypti.me) seems stuck. The blockchain column shows no transactions and message on the bottom is stuck saying synchronization: 57706 blocks, wait please.

Not sure maybe someone more tech can help with that soon

I however logged onto my windows wallet and it synched for me, and I am currently forging

My windows wallet syncs and appears to forge too. In fact yesterday I was forging on one of my addresses and it said I forged 300 xcr and my balance increased by 300. Today that 300 disappeared and my balance is back to the original. Can you send a small amount to another crypti address you have from your windows wallet and see if it sticks?

NXT had several instances of serious flaws found by members the most notable by doctorevil and another guy I forgot the name. So did NAS fix
these as well?

yes all fixed!

Thanks.

Another question I have is it okay to run my NXT client open and forging at the same time opening the NAS client open and forging at the

same time on the same computer? Anything wrong/dangerous/insecure about that?

Any help please. I am trying to send my xcp to another bitcoin address. Thanks

C:\counterpartyd_build>

I have the same error as well.

This error is caused by not having a new-enough version of pycoin.

Thank you Phantom. I downloaded and installed yesterday from source. How do I update the pycoin?

The issue is that the build scripts are out of date. I just updated them.

Follow the instructions under 'Updating to the Newest Source' in the relevant documentation.

I updated successfully but I am still getting the same thing ending in:

TypeError: wif_to_tuple_of_secret_exponent_compressed() got an unexpected keywor
d argument 'is_test'

I must be doing something wrong. Wallet command shows my correct xcp and btc balances. But when I type

C:\counterpartyd_build>C:\Python32\python.exe run.py send --from=MyXCPBitcoinAddress --to=NewBitcoinAddress --quantity=1 --asset
=XCP

The same error occurs. I am newbie hear me roar.

That error doesn't have anything to do with how you're using Counterparty; it's a problem with pycoin.

Try changing the version of pycoin required (in reqs.txt) to 0.25 and then rebuilding from source again.

I ran setup.py and all is well in the world. What amazing Dev/Founders we have willing to help problems big and small while working hard on the main project.

I am so proud I burned me some XCP. Donation coming up. Phantom can eat KFC on me.

You have minimum 0.0003172 balance in your QT to send? Also, did you set your QT fee to 0.0001?

Also, please post your bitcoin.conf and counterpartyd.conf

Yes I believe I do have the prereqs installed. I can run the server and wallet command shows my xcp balance. I have .006 btc balance in my wallet and I set qt fee to .0001
