Re: Do people actually buy coins with real life money?

Now when BC is sky high and ETH also pretty high. DO people even give their real money for those currencies. I mean give 300$ for 1ETH or 6000$ for 1BC is too much for most people.
I mean how often do people buy crypto currency like ETH and BC

They do... also you can use E-Wallets to get some coins from certain companies.

People is only intersted in earn money but investments into security and better websites doesn't exist. Unless an ICO really cares about their customers things like this will keep on happening, I don't think all ICO's are in the position of running KYC's and their customers judgement is crucial for this, although not everyone understands the risks posting their personal information has

You should not have troubles by opening the venting through the roof although im not sure if that would be enough to keep all cool, anyways, noise can be controlled with acoustic foam as well

I agree with points 1, 2 and 4 of your statement. Definitely is changing the world and is opening a huge door to decentralized technologies that can be created and run by individuals such as you and me

Re: Why did people get involved in bitconnect?
by
smoothenough
on 12/03/2018, 20:04:40 UTC
maybe the same reason why they get involved with a whole lot of other shady stuff, the greed!
it actually seems to be a strong driving force in the cryptocurrency market. people even buy bitcoin out of  greed, they want to get rich overnight, and don't get me started on altcoins and their pump and dumps.
so the same thing is true about  bitconnect and all the similar projects. people get involved with them because they think they can make money, they sometimes even close their eyes on facts because all they see is money!

Completely agree with this, people is dumb by nature and prefer the easy path to read, get informed and use their judgement to determine whether or not what they are doing is fine. This is the reason why scams exist and will always exist

Re: [ANN] [ICO] Crypterra - How about island for mining?
by

For the way you described it seems like you do not depend on any government nor are regulated by one. This is not real as you do not own and gobern your islands and are subject of any state regulations that may arise, how can you make sure the government will not alter the project timeline and what guarantee you can give to your investors?

Cloud mining is basically a SCAM, is not worthy to setup a mining environment to rent the 'profit making' to others who will actually earn more than what they have invested. Is an idea that looks great but is unachievable at the end so my suggestion is you to keep away from cloud mining

Bitcoin continues to fall, and this can not be undone. I have a lot of altcoins, and they, of course, go with bitkoynom. If I have more money, I'll buy the losers. This is a good time for new people in the crypto currency.

This is true, all coins are actually pretty low in value which makes possible for the newcomers to enter the game and still be competitive, hope it won't drop further though

Re: Why almost everybody suggest to hold?
by
smoothenough
on 05/03/2018, 01:24:03 UTC
Hi all,
I have a really simple question or so seems to me cause i am a crypto noob.
I really do not understand why almost everybody suggest to hold when there is a dip or correction.

With my simple noob logic i think that when there is a dip someone could sell at the start of the dip or do something else (e.g. buy tether y i know the rumors or something similar anyway) and then buy again later when the correction has stop or decrease.

Obviously no one knows when there is a many days dip and when it will end in order to buy but even so one can save much money just for sell and buy in between even without predict the absolute start and end of a dip.

I hold as everyone suggests but i now realise that if i had sell even a couple days before even yesterday-and not right after the start of the dip and buy lets say now i would have save a bunch of money relatively with what i am doing now which is hold.

I really must be missing something since i am crypto noob orelse i cannot explain why everyone suggest hold while i fear that real pros are doing the oppossite.

I would like to ask only experienced people who know what they are talking about to give their opinions cause i am fed up reading pseudo crypto pros everywhere around. I bet many of you understand what i mean. Everybody has become a crypto pro . Well i am a crypto noob and i need your heads up.

Thank you for your time reading this and excuse my lame English.

Regards.

Becaus is how you gonna earn more profit than just selling on a normal upswing of th bitcoins.

Guys…

I read the new the Japanese Exchange Coincheck loses ¥58 billion in the hacking attack. It’s not a single case in this after a few weeks ago Etherdelta was also Hacked. So how can we ensure that our money is safe on exchanges?

Is amazing how these companys ain't checking security flaws daily, we should know if we don't have the private keys of our coins we don't own em.
