Nope lol there is an issue there
That needs to be debugged so the pools can use it as a server as if it not fixed they will not touch it due do been able to run a pool of it.... SO it needs to be sloved ASAP Pools should use daemon instead of -qt wallet.

Yeah, possible.
I did a clean install on a clean machine and all worked ok. Then I copied my old wallet.dat over and the problem started again. Swapped back to the new clean wallet.dat and problems continued.
Looks like its an issue with the wallet file.
You should try to extract private key from wallet.dat. I've updated BerkeleyDB, so maybe this is the problem.

Well, I used this guide to compile it - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=149479.0 (I can provide versions of libraries used)
confirmed: working windows 8 (64)

Weird, it works on clean (but updated) Windows 7 SP1 [x64]. Could you try updating your OS and installing Microsoft VC++ Runtime?
