Hi all,

I know that a few of you have been asking for better communication platform.

It Depends on the value of the house. The current market cap is around $700,000, someone could theoretically use Bytecent to buy a house if it was priced under $200k.

Best,
Christopher

Its for sale for EUR 300,000 ($341,000) excluding costs (+/- 5%) which would put you on $358,000 approx. Over 50% of all coins required. Smiley

Hi all!

I'm happy to announce that you can purchase comething HUGE with BYC!

We convinced a friend of ours to sell his house and accept also Bitcoin, Ethereum & Bytecent!

You can find the official post from his real estate agent on : https://www.facebook.com/vetebe/posts/1607833575907808

Please share this on all your social media channels!

Let's make BYC great again!

With the current market cap, one would need about 50% of the total BYC supply to buy this house..  Cool Nice thought though I guess..  Grin

About a month ago, dev posted the new wallet would be ready "soon", along with some other developments..  Does soon mean before end of Q3, end of year??   Huh   Other projects have roadmaps with timelines that do get pushed back from time to time, I think it's ok for the dev to give ballpark dates so we know what to expect.
Also hoping the android app comes back in some form, definitely some potential in this project!

I think when it comes to BYC I would use Tony Vays' definition of soon, which is "some time this decade".

Why is there no development on social media since 2015?

Because there hasn't really been much?

https://microcapcrypto.com/byc/

I think he provides some very good constructive criticism as overall he sees promise in Bytecent and most of the problems he raises can be easily addressed  Smiley

IMO the author should first learn the difference between PoS and PoW coins before writing reviews, or maybe even read his own quoted pre text:

"Bytecent is a superior alternative to conventional rewards programs. By harnessing the CPU power of thousands of computers globally"

Other than that he's pretty much nailed it, we need less "soon" and more action in crypto.

Hey, I think this project is very interesting but I struggle to see how it transfer its value back to the investors. The inflation is horrible, and users of the partners reward application(s) will inadvertently suppress the price with their continuously redeeming of the tokens. Am I missing something or is there something else on the table that makes this a worthwhile investment?

Most early investors are down at least 50-75% so no, you are quite correct in your statement.

Personally spoke with Chris. If both parties can agree on something it will be a major win win for BYC and this company. Chris can tell you how things go from here on out with this project.

Chris. Could you shed some light on this please?

I'm sure the community would like to know..

For anyone who hasn't been with us for that long, I would like to remind you guys that on the 23rd of August the price of BYC was around 9000 satoshi.

With today's movements we are at about 26000 satoshi Wink

Is it bad to mine BYC coins using a laptop?

You are putting your CPU at 100% load, in laptops CPUs dont have the space or cooling that desktop PCs provide, so essentially you will be killing off your laptop quicker by mining on it.

Gentlemen, BYC price is at a historic ATL level. The only way is up from here. Otherwise, if it continues downward, there are no support levels left..
I'm not trolling here. Support your coin and set your buys Smiley
I'm buying anyways, but only for speculation.

Yeah its sad to see. Gotta thank those Russians for setting up mining on every possible PC they can get their hands on just to dump on the support.

I'll keep putting up low price buy orders Smiley

I said in a previous post that i was going to dump because of this ass dev that I have no respect for.

And those of you who claimed to counter me by putting up buy walls...you consider dust as a wall?

I will be dumping again. Put your walls up!

I don't know which dust you're talking about but as I said before, my walls are set up. Oh wait, did you expect my walls to be at the top of the price range? hah.. if you have so many coins, be my guest.

Stupid attempt at trolling

So, you say you've been interested in and/or mining Bytecent for 3 days. Why not just go mine something else. Why are you taking out so much time to insult the dev of this coin? Is it because the profitability is really good and you just cant mine and dump into the devs BTC support?

If that's the case why don't you thank your comrades in the Russian thread, their greed drove the dev to do this..

Can you please read again and comment on what I said, when you quote me ?

That's a direct reply to: "Some countries have been blocked or restricted from mining"

Those countries were probably blocked because they had a whole thread on how to exploit the BYC wallet to mine without time limits, POB, etc.

Looks like you have no idea of background of BYC mining.
Some countries have been blocked or restricted from mining, history repeating.
BYC is something that cryptocurrencies should not be. Centralized and owner minded.

So do you think its fair if people abuse their job as a sysadmin and sets up BYC mining on tens (if not more) of servers. In actual fact they are "stealing" from their employees since 100% CPU usage comes at a cost of power.

These are the same guys that say BYC is a shitcoin and worthless, but still are trying to go out of their way to cheat the software so they can just mine as many coins to dump onto the market...

well mining for the elite. and I need to move to another country ??
discrimination !

I think the discrimination would be happening at your providers level by assigning over 1000 users the same public IP.
