Now it hit an all time post-pump low of 4600 satoshi.
I love how so many people here during the first pump on nov. 20th predicted that by 23rd. nov it will be $10, then they predicted $5 by end of november, then it crashed and when it had a 15% jump one morning everyone went "Now the world is waking up to POWR", and went on to predict $2 by the end of last weekend.
Meanwhile my personal prediction since the first pump was that instead it will keep falling to 5000 satoshis and I was called a troll, a moron and an idiot for saying such "unrealistic" things.
It's simple, POWR has no reference value unless the company Power Ledger will create an actual application, which they are planning to release end of 2018 or early 2019. Until then, the entire value of POWR is simply based on hopes and dreams, just like 99% of all the useless alt coins.
The only way POWR will go up, is if a bigger investor decides to load up, or if Power Ledger makes a news announcement. Until then it will stay around 3000 -7000 satoshi.

Decent strength there POWR, good work in this ocean of red. Well see how BTC goes, if its a true correction coming then itllbe red everywhere. But if its just a head fake then everything should be back on track within a week

So nearly anything to do with the reduction in the price of POWR, or any good coin today has pretty much nothing to do with the quality of that project.
It's market manipulation, with the sardines being thrown around by the tails of the whales.
Just wait until margin trading with CME gets approved and Nasdaq gets involved. The next 6 - 8 months is going to be one hell of a place.

I always enjoy the back and forth between fudders, those who are sincerely trying to help, the mooners/hypers and the HODLers.
At the end of the day its current price that talks, because money talks. And the hard thing to remember, is 'that day', is today. Last week is a distant memory, tomorrow is too far away and at any given moment anything can happen in the crypto space.
It's funny because regardless of how high calibre any project is (like POWR), you'll have haters, lovers, liars and the loyal.
What we need to be at all times, is smart.
For instance, in the last few pages we have a couple guys saying 'I was right' with a couple more people agreeing and then some disagreeing. If todays price was 70 cents (we'll stick with fiat value) you'll still have a couple guys saying 'I was right' with some agreeing and disagreeing.
What we should be talking about right now, is how to navigate current waters and learn for the future.
For example I hear nobody talking about the false sense of security Tether is giving. There's also nobody talking about what happened at Bitfinex to kick start today's mass drop off.
Did you know that order books were wiped clear for NEO and Metaverse, and I also hear OMG. And for an instant NEO was worth $4 and Metaverse just about $0?
And when you look at BTC, there's just over a $2K swing in a few hours. Who is selling so cheap and what are their motivations?

I am not trying to push the price down by giving real information. Heck, I invested $2k at $1 and now it's down to $0.60, and I don't have more to invest. That's all the capital I have.
All I am saying is that if you are waiting for POWR to go back up to the all time high or even 5 times higher than the all time high within the next week, then you are a dreamer, because that will not happen until late 2018.
Reality is that:

Power Ledger had their ICO prior to actually developing a product so that they can use is as a kickstarter to fund the development of Power Ledger.
Power Ledger is only now starting to develop their actual application and they are expecting a release late 2018, early 2019.
The entire value of POWR is pure speculation until late 2018 when they will release their application.
Just because I point these things out, doesn't mean I don't want it to go down. I wish it would go up to $10 in the next 5 minutes, so I can cash out my $2k investment, but I know it won't happen.
When I read peoples comments here on how POWR will explode next week, going up another 500%... no. No that will not happen. It will keep going down, because now the company Power Ledger, is cashing out their $25 million tokens, so that they can move forward with their development phase for the next 12 months.
If you want to call me a troll, sure, go ahead, if you want to dream away that in the next week POWR will explode again and go up to $5, sure, believe in that nonsense. But at the end of the day, I am the realist here, I did my research, and everyone else who is calling me a troll, is a hypocrite.
I'll be back in the forum quoting myself in exactly 7 days, and then I will be pointing out the "dreamers" who called me a troll and were 100% convinced that POWR will be back up at $1 or even $5.
My best guess is, that in 7 days, POWR will be between $0.3 to $0.5.
The chances are good that Power Ledger will succeed, and the chances that POWR will go up 500% or even 1000% by late 2018, are also realistic. POWR is a great long term investment, so you should buy now. But for god sake, stop playing with the idea that POWR will go up 500% in the next 7 days. It's always the same with people. I've seen this a dozen times. Each time a currency explodes, people keep thinking there will be one massive increase after the other on a weekly basis. Yet we have over 1000 cryptocurrencies and from all that historical data, we can clearly see that ever single cryptocurrency has between 1 to 3 "outbreaks" per year.

Snappeer, you confuse me. For someone that has that much insight, why did you buy in so high? And I'm not mocking you, it sucks when you're holding bags. But for a project that had an ICO price sub $0.10, and lower prices on etherdelta, that initial push to $0.24 or so was phenomenal growth already. It's too young on the scene to establish a history for support and resistance levels. Then we hit mid 40 cents, with speculation that we may see $1 before the end of the year. We got Binance, Bittrex and thats not exactly an easy accomplishment when you've been out for a few weeks.
So despite being a great project with heavy/early traction, boosting from ICO price to a dollar was awesome enough. Profit taking and corrections are inevitable. What would the average person do if they put $500 in at say 6 cents and all of a sudden POWR is stable around $0.80 mark? From $500 to just over $6.5K, wow.
I knew I was late when I missed 12 cents, but just had to FOMO in at 17, 21, 24, 27 42, 59 and 64 cents. Pumps and corrections are everyday cryptolife for us

Thanks Myriad, I was reading up on them last night. Thats some decent institutional backing. I keep thinking of innovative Aussie tech thats influenced global standards and I come up with the Fred Hollows Institute, the Parkes dish used to relay transmission for the moon landing and the Polymer currency technology used at the RBA. Thats just off the top of my head.
I couldn't care less about hype and I'm not that big on crypto as a currency replacer. For me it's about utility tokens, built on reliable blockchain tech, belonging to teams that innovate and actually give a damn about the human race. With strategic partnerships comes momentum and profitability, to me it's that simple. But the quality of research and development has to come first and continue. I see all of that here.

I don't understand the reason why some people giving the links of other projects and suggesting to invest into them. This is decision of the people who want to stay with this than why others forcing to let them and invest into other projects?

I agree, all pumps will dump. It doesnt matter which coin it is, they've all done from top to bottom. I missed the ICO so am very happy to have gotten in ~0.24 cents

And remember that regardless of how good any twchnology is, it needs mass adoption, be able to solve a massive problem, be able to scale to global demands and have network effects. PowerLedger is ticking all of these boxes. And don't forget that POWR will be needed later in conjunction with SPARKZ

It is just a P and D in my Opinion. In my opinion it is a Token like one of hundreds just with better marketing.
Give it some weeks and you will be happy that you sold at your price.
Crypto is like gambling and their is only one longterm investment ( Bitcoin) All other alts are just made to get as much BTC as possible.
I wait also saw too many hyped coins which went down down down a lot after THE BIG pump.
Technology needs time see Wagerr and other coins which need nearly 6 months to get developed.
Furthermore it is just a Token, no own Technology. Tokens are for me worthless because they are changeable. I Invest only in Technologies.
Surprised to see a Hero member disregard POWR on a technological basis. Surely you must be referring to the token only, because the technological application of blockchain to renewable energy, as PowerLedger has done, is phenomenal.
And even if the POWR token is not innovative in a new way compared to other ERC20 tokens out there, all it has to do is its job as a utility. That's it.

Ask if any admins are around and tell them you're new to crypto, that you bought POWR over at Bittrex and wanted to send to MEW, but used the contract address found on ethplorer.io
They may halp fast track a resolution.

There are multiple clone/phishing websites that look almost identical to myetherwallet.com Also, scammers use google adwords and bots to rank higher for a search response. So even though its at the top of the list it doesn't mean you're going to the website you want to.
2. Try make a word document that is filled with url addresses of the exchanges you use. Copy from that list of your exchanges into your browser directly.
3. If you're looking for the url of an exchange, use a direct link from an admin pinned msg in Telegram. Alternatively, go to coinmarketcap.com, look for whichever token it is, click on 'markets' and find the exchange url. Copy and paste that in your word document.

Some useful tips here, but I dont understand why you use a word document? Isnt is as safe if I just type in the exchange I want to visit if I know the in my mind? Or can there some misleading with that? I am not that tech savvy, so I ask this. Maybe its a silly question. Also how about just bookmarking the sites when you visit the first time? Or can bookmarks be altered somehow?
Yep yep if you know it go ahead and type it, or bookmark them. I'm just ultra paranoid lol, its saved me a fair few times.
So when you start using etherdelta, binance, bittrex, bitfinex, liqui, cryptopia, hitbtc, myetherwallet you'll need to have a system that's nice and organised. You want separate emails, separate passwords, you want the passwords to be different to the email lol.
And for 2FA, try not to use a text msg if you are able. There is a scam going around where if people know your mobile number and email, they can reset your email password by receiving a text msg confirmation. They run a bot that intercepts the text msg and rediverts to them. This way they lock you out of your email. If your exchange is linked to that email address then yeeesh.
If you're an Android user try use Google Authenticator 2FA for logging into emails and exchanges. This way you have to physically have your phone with the GA app open in real time. So the intercept thing won't work.

Hello, I'm a newbie to crypto and Power Ledger and secured over 1000 last night. But need some help, so any advice would be much appreciated.
So earlier today, I wanted to move my POWR from Bittrex to My Ether Wallet. However, when I read the details on setting up a new token in My Ether Wallet, I got confused.
So, I've sent my POWR to https://ethplorer.io Token Power Ledger address when I think I should have sent it to my public MEW address. I can see the transaction ID from Bittrex and on https://ethplorer.io, but need help to transfer to MEW from https://ethplorer.io.
Please can any of the community here advise me or point me in the right direction? I really hope I haven't made such a mistake as to lose the coins, as the project seems fantastic. Please help!!

Send coins from bittrex to MEW by transferring it to your ETH address of your account of MEW.
Thanks for the response but I have already sent them to the address which came up when I went onto ethplorer.io and this transaction has been successful. So I think I have probably lost them, but wanted to know if there is anything I can do to get them back...?

If you did, you may be in good fortune because those addresses, as far as I understand belong to PowerLedger.
So you may want to try contact the team if that is the case. And the good thing is that its recorded on the blockchain so is undisputable. Theyre nice people so they may be able to send back to you.
Lets hope thats the addresses you may have sent to.

I have been asking the same question but getting no answers. My guess is after they distribute the tokens to the people that purchased so around the end of the month, maybe.
