Re: [ANN] MonetaryUnit [MUE] - X11. MasterNodes. Funding. Governance. Services. Devs

Dear MUE Community,

We are getting ever closer to the release of our new codebase and proposal/governance system!

During the course of the next two weeks you will start to see some new changes pushed to the MonetaryUnit.org website. We have introduced new brand standards for MUE that will be reflected on the website in parallel with the new release of the QT wallet for consistency.

The website will also now have a section for submitting proposals, both on testnet and on mainnet. The mainnet section will not be active for a while but you'll be able to dig around the testnet section to see how it's going to work.

@bbobb and his team of developers have been running a local/LAN testnet of the new code base and proposal system for a few weeks. Upon release of the website, the core team will be given access to the code base in order to extend that testnet outside of it's localized environment for a 1-2 week internal testing period where we will do everything in our power to break the network.

Once we've completed this internal testing it will be time to open the network to a public testnet where the community will be asked to help make sure everything is working according to plan. It is not clear how long this public testing process will take but rest assured that once everything is operating as planned we will be launching the new codebase and proposal system on the mainnet for all to generate proposals.

We are grateful for the patience you have afforded us while we hash out the last few details of these major upgrades to the MUE ecosystem and look forward to testing some proposals with you soon.

Regards,

MUE Core Team

Hey guys I'm kind of a mining noob.

My dm11g shows 532 accepts, 1 reject, 315 discards after mining for a couple of hours.

I'm mining at monkey.multipools.club port 11116 (var diff 8-128)

Is this normal and if not should I adjust the diff to get less discards? Or does that not matter?

I'm making some MONK just would love to finetune this since I'd like to mine for a while and just leave it going.

Thanks.

Super excited to have mined 0.08 LUX on launch day. It took a couple of hours with 5 1080ti but wasn't expecting much either. Excited to see where this project goes although will likely have to buy up the balance to land a full masternode or I'll be mining for years to accumulate that much Smiley

Thanks devs fun times!

Thanks yeah seems like something is off for sure. The room is at less than 33 celsius which is their recommendation so I'm not too sure what else I can change on my end.

Anyone else already mining with the iBeLink dm11g?

Hey folks,

Good morning.

Anyone else out there mining with the dm11g yet? I've searched all over and all I can find are threads about the pre-order, etc. So if this thread already exists please point me in the right direction.

Anyways I've been mining for a few days and I am admittedly pretty new to mining but have not been able to get over 7.5 GH/s mining DASH consistently.

I switched to MUE for a couple of those days and the output hovered between 8.5 and 9.5 GH/s, so I know the miner is capable of it.

Does it have anything to do with which pool I'm pointing at? Is there a specific pool you'd recommend for this miner? I tried the Suprnova pool on port 9991 and still averaged 7.2 to 7.5 all night.

I've also read something about a voltage regulator?

Anyways are you happy with it? It's a really, really nice feeling piece of equipment just wish it wasn't so loud.

Guys I'm having a hard time updating the blocks on linux wallet.

Downloaded and installed the snapshot.

Have plenty of connections.

But can't get past block 771119

Any ideas?

It happened with the old so I just downloaded and installed the new wallet and same issue.

Every 2.0s: 1337d getinfo                                                                                                                    Sat Jun 10 18:44:47 2017

Has anyone recently gotten the linux wallet to sync completely? I started over (erased the snapshot) and it's stuck on 85k. 24 connections.

Re: Anyone can test these 6 Pcie slots Ryzen mobos?

Actually...

Went into device manager and found a device in "Other Devices" that had no driver but was labeled as a VGA card. I right clicked to properties and clicked "update driver" in the dialog box. I let it search for the driver and it installed it all by itself.

Restarted windows and now I have FIVE GPUs running on MSI x370.

I wonder if a 6th will work at this point Smiley

Any word on the x370?

I bought MSI x370 and successfully detected four GPUs but can't get the 5th to light up.

Curious if there is something I can do in the BIOS to get it to work or if this board might only do four and that's that.

Thanks.

Re: excavator by NiceHash - multi-algorithm advanced NVIDIA & AMD GPU miner [1.2.3a]

Morning.

Just started mining yesterday. Super excited Smiley

Started with EQM which is cool but I think I'd like to just get paid in ZEC.

Pointed at zecmine.pro and seems to be working but I wonder if anyone can clarify and comfort me that I'm getting full efficiency out of this.

I'm running two 1080ti cards BTX.

On the log it only shows one device:
[08:09:12][0x000004e4][info] net | Share #82 accepted
[08:09:16][0x000008d8][info] net | Share #83 accepted
[08:09:18][0x000004e4][info] core | Device #0-0 speed: 292.836667 H/s
[08:09:18][0x000004e4][info] core | Device #0-1 speed: 291.620000 H/s
[08:09:18][0x000004e4][info] core | Algorithm 'equihash' total speed: 1.225017 kH/s
[08:09:20][0x000008d8][info] net | Share #84 accepted
[08:09:21][0x000004e4][info] net | Share #85 accepted
[08:09:21][0x000008d8][info] net | Share #86 accepted
[08:09:27][0x000004e4][info] algo-equihash | New job '446626875279046', diff=481.882

Although the "total speed" is essentially the total of all four workers (two per GPU).

Also on the mining site it only shows one worker but hashrate of 1.25 KS/s.

So I guess just trying to wrap my brain around a worker count.

From the above does it look like I'm using my two GPUs at full potential? If so, great. If not I'd love some tips on how to tweak them.

Thanks.

EDIT: realized that pool had not found a block in 14 days so I switched to nanopool. Still only seeing device "0" but getting around 1.2 KH/s.
