Hello - Any suggestions for the setting - Additional CGMiner Flags :

I have used both of the paramaters below.  Any thoughts?

--gekko-mine2 --gekko-start-freq 250 --suggest-diff 442

or

--gekko-mine2 --gekko-start-freq 400 --suggest-diff 442 --gekko-compaca1-freq 400

Also, is there a sweet spot for frequency?

thanks!

Hi All - Just curious....  Is there any way to have each individual miner have it's own settings (pool, frequency, etc.)?

thanks!

Hello Everyone - I just got this unit and it has been running fine all night.  This morning I came in and the hashing stopped.  Went to the web browser and am getting this below.  Suggestions??

The debugger caught an exception in your WSGI application. You can now look at the traceback which led to the error.
To switch between the interactive traceback and the plaintext one, you can click on the "Traceback" headline. From the text traceback you can also create a paste of it. For code execution mouse-over the frame you want to debug and click on the console icon on the right side.

You can execute arbitrary Python code in the stack frames and there are some extra helpers available for introspection:

dump() shows all variables in the frame
dump(obj) dumps all that's known about the object

Hello Friends,

I looked through the posts, so apologies if I missed this...  I have 5 of these sticks and they're doing great.  Is there any way to have them act a separate miners / workers?

thank you!

Hello,

Where do I find replacement fans?

thanks
George

LOOK AT THE LABEL--

Run a Google search on the model number on the label.  This is a generic suggestion, it is how I find replacement fans of any type.  Read carefully in the result descriptions so to match amperage, RPMs, bearing type, etc.       --scryptr

I LOOKED AT THE LABEL.  I was hoping someone else had some experience and insight that would help rather than asking me to do a google search.  Anyone can do that.  Crazy thought - create a community of Moonlander users that share ideas and experiences!

Also, I did a search and didn't find much.

Thanks

Page 81 of this thread has the last discussion about fans, Like I said you just need to look!

Per my previous post, I did search.  Either my search criteria was bad or I just missed it - Which is why I asked in the first place.....

before replacing the fans, carefully take them apart by removing the rubber o ring from the shaft under the sticker and use some lithium grease on the bearing..
i did mine and now they are completely silent and been going for months.

Thanks for the tip! ordering some grease now, hopefully that does the trick. my only fear is that if it does, i'll start buying more moonlanders hahaha

These are sleeve bearing fans so they do need to be greased up once in a while. A bit of machine oil should do the trick. (like mentioned above you can unscrew the fan and get to the sleeve bearing by pulling back the sticker on the back of the fan.

I will also be listing fan replacement at shop.futurebit.io at my cost + shipping which will be under $5. If you want something that will last longer I would go with a dual ball bearing 25mm 5v fan which some people have listed here before. Of course these can get rather pricey.

Maybe you would consider putting the ball bearing fan on the website as an upgrade?

Thats a good idea...ill see if I can source some for cheap.

Any update on this??  Thanks!!

Hello,

I have a couple MLDs that NO MATTER what combination of frequency or pot adjusting I do, they don't get over 2.5 mh.  I'm really frustrated....  What can I do??

Sounds like your hub is not providing enough power. Try plugging one at a time and run it at stock 600mhz or below. If it works fine then its a power issue.

I wish that was the problem.  My hub is providing 2.4a per slot.  I tried connecting them both solo.  Same exact results...

What is a typical or acceptable HW rate?

Also, I have 9 miners setup...  Notice that 5 and 10 are very low.  I have tried every frequency, and nothing changes.  suggestions?  Suggestions for all of them in general?

thanks!
