Re: Celebrities advertise scam ICO again
by

on 27/02/2020, 21:08:38 UTC
SEC fined Steven Seagal for advertising ICO. The actor did not disclose information about the funds received for the promotion of the project, which could mislead investors, the Commission explained.

Since the ICO, the price of the Bitcoiin2Gen token advertised by Segal has fallen by 99%.

do you think celebrities know that they advertise scam projects or they just don’t understand what they are doing? I think this is a big problem for the market

Again? Isn't this old news? I mean he was already fined for it. But i am looking for that phase to happen in the future because that would mean bull market.

Sure, i have ignored the XRouter and will take a look at it, but blocknet sure has been having a presence in bitcointalk lately. I would bet my money that they have some sort of paid shilling program going on because bitcointalk has been targeted conversations that have been basically disguised ads.

Re: Why are altcoins so fragile compared to Bitcoin?
by
sockpuppet1911

Hi friends:
What is the reason for the large fluctuations of altcoins in your view? Why are altcoins so fragile compared to Bitcoin and fluctuating with the smallest news? Of course, I mean the altcoins that have good ideas, professional support,... not the shitcoins.

They are "new", bitcoin is so far most tested, most secure and most trusted. If it fails, everything fails as people keep looking the whole cryptocurrency scene value from bitcoin. We always tend to forget it and start to talk about ETH flippening again, not seeing that it has actually been more unstable then bitcoin.

New nonsense projects have been coming all the time since first altcoins started and they have been decreasing a lot on the last bear run, i can't see any increase in them. Even many of the sites that follow new shitcoins have been shutting down. Nr of shitcoin projects will increase a lot in the future, i just can't see it yet in my feeds.

We are now live with KING OF EARNBET LEADERBOARD  Shocked

Nowadays you guys are just doing the leader board competitions for the whales which are not easy for the small players. I agree that casinos are profitable because of the Whales but I love the mini-events hosted in the early days like roll events 00.25,50 and 100 where players are rewarded for those rolls. Consider having these events once a while at least for fun and for the small players

But those competitions helps the holders to get the dividends as more there will be volume, more there will be dividends.

Re: Trust wallet rocks

I used to be so obsessed with coinomi wallet because it support many altcoins, maybe because I find it more better than myether and copay and later I decide to try trust wallet, I was surprised that right after importing my private key all my altcoins are ready for me including every single ERC20 tokens I own, Trust wallet get rid of adding tokens manually and in fact it shows every price of the tokens that are listed and trading, now I can't stop loving the wallet, way better than coinomi now

I have been using that too. But as it's a mobile wallet i have some trust issues with the security. I still keep holding most in offline wallets.

Re: Temtum 3x since launch and stable
by

on 25/02/2020, 19:37:21 UTC
TemTum is currently trading at 3x from its launch price of 6 cents and has been stable for months - with the impressive news being release on telegram how high can it go ?

I think it’s the only project right now to be up from its launch price nearly a year after launch !

It was being stable because no one was buying it. Looks like a steady volume without any movement or liquidity, meaning it's all just wash trading. And even the price movements didn't create any spikes on volume like in real coins. I am not touching this.

Re: Don't just hold your altcoins for a long time!
by
sockpuppet1911
on 24/02/2020, 19:58:39 UTC
Don't hold some good but random altcoins for a long time. If you still want to hold then don't leave their telegram group or other social accounts, check updates on a regular basis. Because if you just hold and keep it in a wallet for 2 years then who knows after 2 years your coin's value may turn into zero value, because of the swap!

I lost many coins because of swap things! Recently Insolar is swapping their token, I did not know about it, because I have been holding for two years but did not care enough as the price was very low! Today I was checking the Coinmarketap android app and saw Insolar coin increased by 530% but their ticker is XNS when I knew it was INS! So, I joined their telegram and get the updates about the swap! Unfortunately, If I fail to swap on time then all of the value of my holding coins will be zero! So, except Bitcoin, Ethereum, don't trust any coin for just buy and hold for a long time, rather keep updating yourself!

Well obviously you need to keep a track on the projects and not hold too many token projects on your wallet. If i see a swap coming and i don't have time to deal with it, i just leave my coins on exchange if it's trusted enough. They are usually handling the swaps and i am not that paranoid when it comes to good exchanges.

Re: Arbitrage , South Africa ?
by

Hi i have recently been on South African Exchanges to find the whole country trading in a Bubble. Prices seems regulated over South Africa at a Margin well above what it is elsewhere.

Luno has an API https://www.luno.com/en/developers

I was Just wondering why Arbitrage is not fixing these Prices ?

Reason could be the obvious lack of liquidity and wash trading, because without the buy/sell walls, the faked price action can just move higher or lower, it doesn't mean that you can actually sell with that price.

Re: Binance is giving away money to them who are already rich!
by

Binance is the best exchange for everyone but it seems they don't care every trader rather only the rich one! They are making rich people richer when they have no plan for every type of trader! Binance is giving away 1.1 Million USD worth BNB coin to them who will trade over 1 Bitcoin with some rules! I really don't like this type of movements!

Why wouldn't they want to attract whales on their platform? Every exchange wants whales instead of small players. And they can do what they want with their money as they aren't non profit charity.

Re: Some ridiculous suspicious projects with zero value!
by

Did you hear about IronX and WPP? Both came in 2018, and both raised good money from ICO! From February 2019 to now, in IRONX telegram group 2-3 admins are active, if you ask about any update, they will reply to you "Our Technical team is working behind the scenes, very soon you will get an announcement"

Then I left their telegram group in March 2019, then a few days ago I was remembering all projects of 2019 then I joined IRONX telegram group again to see the latest update, you know what, admins are still active and giving the same answers what they copied year ago!

I don't know how many days I will remain mad after seeing this (Sarcasm)

Now, about WPP! Admins are very active for nothing. They raised 59 Million USD, just listed on Digifinex exchange and that's it, their coin value became worst, trading volume less than 1K USD! Whenever you ask to update, they will reply to you with shitty information, if you ask them back, they will ban you!

I remember WPP. Funny that in the bull market it seemed like ok idea to me and now after this bear market i am looking at it with new eyes and everything in their web page screams scam. How could i be so greedy idiot back then.

Re: Stakenet - Next short term 10x - Here's why.
by
sockpuppet1911
on 20/02/2020, 21:39:17 UTC
Stakenet is by far one of the most promising projects I've seen as of lately. You'd have to have followed the project to truly understand it's potential, but I'll try to explain it briefly here.

1) They helped the Litecoin team with Lightning Network integration on the LTC chain.
2) Stakenet is the industry leader in terms of Lightning Network developments, building and improving the technology in a way that benefits everyone. Their new Lightning DEX, which is an integrated part of a multi currency wallet they've been working on for the past year is bound to be a huge success for the following reasons:

Speed
Ease Of Use
Option To Hold And Trade Multiple Coins

The whole eco-system is ran by masternodes, who will do the dirty work (routing transactions back and forth over the Lightning Network), this means that Lightning node operators already have an incentive to keep them running, since the masternodes is profitable to run from the get-go already.

USDT, Ethereum (and it's tokens) will be integrated as well.

This is just a small, yet important part of Stakenet.

Stakenet invented cold staking, which means that you can stake XSN through their "Trustless Proof Of Stake" protocol.

Please do yourself a favor, and watch this small presentation video:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sXj3_qKSUBk&t=3s

What you are describing here are long term fundamentals, they have nothing to do with the short term price speculation. Lot's of project can be worth 10x in the future but are crumbling right now and in the near future.

Re: Making an experiment on BNB using my $2000
by
sockpuppet1911
on 19/02/2020, 08:50:03 UTC
There's something that came out into my mind, it's about Binance, I have been seeing people's comment that they are very positive with the future of Binance so I came up with an experiment which I plan to do it soon.

here's what I am gonna do, I will invest on BNB worth $2000, hold it, and just sell when the price of BNB will reach at least $1,000..

What do you think about this? is my target realistic?

Why do you set your targets on usd? Why not in btc pair? Surely everything dives in btc pair even when they would rise in usd on the next bull run. Question is, what would be $2000 worth of bitcoin / $2000 in bnb in the future? Planning like that could help with your exit plan.

No, and i don't even understand what's the appeal on that. I can't see anything mind blowing or revolutionary in it to keep it on the top 100 coinmarketcap.

1 year later, in February, LTO is back with another record-breaking rise on a Binance listing. At a fruit of the team's dedication, this listing came at no cost, and instead rewarded hodlers with a huge airdrop.

So what record did you break? All i can see is pump and dump chart towards the original numbers that were spiraling down the whole year. This thread just sounds like you are desperate to pump it up again.

Re: I have bought Yoda and Alisa. Should I continue holding them?
by
sockpuppet1911
on 18/02/2020, 18:02:56 UTC
Hello dear members.
I have bought some Yoda and Alisa coins in Yobit. I saw they were rising and anyone suggested buying them.
Since I bought them, they are just going down and I have lost 60% of my money in them until now.
What do you recommend me to do next? I am very patient but do you think holding them a little longer can compensate my losses?
I only want to get my capital back even if it is done with zero profit.

May i ask why did you buy them in the first place? Are there any block explorers for them? Any white papers? You really should stop buying or selling because people say so because that's the last way to get any of your capital back. Learn why something is valuable and why those aren't. Start by reading white papers of different projects.

Re: Looking for legitimate airdrop / giveaway
by

on 18/02/2020, 17:29:05 UTC
Pls suggest me legitimate airdrop and giveaway or where i can find list of airdrop.
I am looking for airdrop that listed in exchange it doesn't matter how much its price or at least token from exchange that you can use to trade in thier exchange.
Even twitter giveaway if you know one pls comment here.
Thank you

Define a legitimate bounty / airdrop. Are you looking for something that's going to be worth something right away and you can sell it right after you get it? Because to my knowledge every airdrop has delivered their tokens so they are all "legit" in that sense. If we would know which ones would pay most in btc worth, we probably wouldn't even advertise them to prevent flood on the users selling them.

The first 2 payments of the bounties were made at the end of 2019.
The next one should take place in March!
Then there will be one last in May

so everything is ok for the bounties  Wink

Oh, ok, then i had some misinformation for those that didn't yet get their bounty. No wonder why the price fluctuating like that then. I guess i'll just set my buy orders low.
