Multi-exchange trading platform

Hi,

I'm a financial software engineer with just shy of 10 years of experience in developing direct market access trading platforms and algorithms. If you include childhood fun, school work, and school jobs then I've been coding for 17 years now. Posting here to find some cryptocurrency traders that might be interested in testing and providing feedback for a platform-in-development.

Some information on how I got here. I used to personally arb and stat arb cryptocurrencies across multiple exchanges. I built software to help me do this which is partially automated. I abandoned this trading strategy when I discovered reliability issues with many of the smaller exchanges I was trading through, alt-currencies also seemed to be mostly collapsing.

The software is web-based and dynamic. It provides market depth views and the transfer of funds between exchanges in a single click. I'm hoping to provide access to the software, after some feature improvements, as a trading/algorithm platform. I'm also looking for features traders would want to see in the software so as to make it useful as a general trading tool.

Right now I'm particularly interested in finding active cryptocurrency traders that would want to test drive the software and provide feedback. The current state of the software caters to my particular strategy so immediate changes will be necessary. Anyone who participates is very likely to be heard out, particularly during initial stages of work.

Please contact me publicly or privately if you're interested in more information and are an active BTC trader.

I'm open to providing more information/screenshots if people want to have a public discussion here.

There is no service offered to re-load them by the manufacturer?

I always wondered about this, seems reasonable to do it for a fee... I'm assuming it isn't a trivial process.

I'm a Software Engineer with 6+ years of experience working for traders and exchanges. My primary experience is in C++ and Java with some shell scripting, MySQL, and Python as well as little bits of other Linux tools and features.

Primarily Linux, market data handling, order management, high throughput software as well as low latency solutions. I also have experience working for the largest global Futures/Option exchange as a front end FIX developer.

I've done some web GUI work with GWT but it's not my strong point, don't really have much web experience.

Shocked no one mentioned, I'm sure you know, GPUs are getting pushed out this year. I dunno, I was looking at the difficulty charts and bitcoin.sepa.be is predicting some scary stuff for 2013 that started in late 2012. I'm guessing it's ASICs coming on line so it won't stop, if anything it's only going to accelerate.

I'm having a hard time deciding which ASIC rigs are worth it if any, it's getting difficult to see the point of running GPU mining for anything but novelty. I'm thinking in terms of breaking even on your investment and turning a profit relative to electricity costs. Of course I could be mistaken...

Just curios, did he have coins of yours?

I heard about this, seemed like a good idea, scams are not a surprise though.

No survey option for me.

I used the site for news but didn't really 'lurk'. Now I'm just trying to get rid of this newb status so I can take part in the ASICMiner auction.
