banks and cryptocurrencies must integrate. and the sooner this happens, the better for both areas. this should make it easier for you to buy and sell cryptocurrency. some steps have already been taken. there are payment cards that help this, for example, advcash and gekkard

Re: Is DeFi really a threat to centralized finance?

No. It's just a hype. Time will pass and we'll forget about it.
Stablecoins are more useful. And no volatility, which can damage users.I think, that it will replace defi tokens on this finance field. USDT can beat ETH... And as bound to euro, eurg token can be good

No... Due to volatility, we can lose a lot of money.
I'd prefer to have reserved in the stablecoins. In any moment it can be changed to bitcoin and back. More save way to earn money than just keep it in BTC. In USDT or EURG

The sphere, which available for everyone is a cryptocurrency. Also, there is more options than trade stocks or just hold.
If you are living in the Europe, I can recommend you Gekkoin project. Minimum of the investments is 100 euro. With it, you can make deposit with different % and guarantees. Also, it could be good way to store money to save it during the pandemic.

Re: How to make old people understand Bitcoin?

Show them a way to invest, very similar to traditional investment instruments. For example, as there are deposits in banking, there are also structured deposits in bitcoin. Thus, it will be easier for them to understand and, perhaps, there will be a desire to invest in bitcoin. Gekkoin is a good example of such a company.

Re: How to get rich

These are very big words - to get rich. This is not so easy with cryptocurrencies. Either you need to have a lot of luck.
But it is quite possible to have additional income or passive income.
Now there are so many options to do this: staking, mining, hodle, defi, structured deposits, and so on.

Ethereum is a top-2 coin. It has a good ecosystem, including dapps, smartcontracts etc. Vitalik announced Ethereum 2.0. So, yes, it is a good investment.
You can invest in it in different ways: mining right now and staking later, structured deposits, dApps and smartcontracts, which I mentioned before, make own erc-20 token etc.

Cryptocurrency will never replace fiat. But they will coexist together, getting closer. Already now we see bank cards through which you can buy cryptocurrency (advcash, Gekkard, Kucoin etc.), These are signs of combining fiat and crypto.
