We have conducted a thorough review and found no issues on the website. It is possible that specific users may have encountered problems due to viruses or plugins they installed, which are beyond our control.
Isn't it too much coincidence that many high rollers who won the wagering contest (and only them) had their accounts legitimacy compromised by a malicious script which was deflecting their funds to external unknown wallets?

If the issue with malicious script were a generic issue faced by random users, then we could think that it had something to do with external plugins installed by the users themselves (probably plugins related to gambling bots).

But since only specific whales were targeted, it really seems to have been a more elaborated attack against determined platform's users, who the hackers knew to be more profitable to steal from, instead of focusing on random accounts from micro earners containing dust of satoshis, for an example.

I have 2 remarks:

1. The deposit and withdraw attacks were not just targeted against (recent) high rollers. I have not wagered on freebitco.in in months, and my account was still affected. Fortunately, I did not lose any bitcoin, because I did not try to deposit or withdraw when the attacks were taking place; but for a period of ~24 hours my deposit address switched to some unknown address. I have had the same deposit address for years and have not changed it recently, and so I knew immediately that something fishy was going on. After about a day, my deposit address changed back to my normal address.

2. This was absolutely not caused by "viruses or plugins they installed". I have 3 different devices that I use to log in to this site, and my deposit address was switched on every single device. Are you really going to argue that I had the exact same virus on all 3 devices?

I have ~100 messages on this forum, and in nearly all of them I have spoken positively about freebitco.in (they gave me a lambo!). I have to be critical here, though. Blaming users for these recent issues is not cool.

For those who may have missed the email, we are being given a rare opportunity to earn some free, guaranteed golden tickets. You have about 2 days left to make 30 free BTC rolls, and you'll be given 5 golden tickets for your troubles. If you are usually not too active on the faucet, now would be a good time to claim a free chance at winning $200K

@TheQuin, not sure if this is intentional or not, but I have gotten a few 6 hour flash promos lately that have lasted for nearly 7 hours. I just wanted to let you know in case you were not aware.

Now please help me to get my reward I will beat the multiply game again this time I will make a strategy channel on youtube and twitter I will help all guys to beat the multiplier I have best strategy trust me guys please help me to get my reward I am depressed.

I just stumbled across this thread. Congrats on your lambo win. Based on the amount you wagered these past few months, you certainly earned it.

That said, there's not anything that we can do to help you, except to ensure you that you will be paid out for your win. I was the winner of the round 7 lambo. The drawing for round 7 took place on October 17, 2022. My freebitco.in account was credited with $200K on October 19, 2022:

https://www.blockchain.com/explorer/transactions/btc/efd253d8a820937041844e9d64750acae929f8ccaf121141de45ca2416b7736d

If you haven't already, I would go to the FAQ tab on freebitco.in and use the Contact Form to send a message to TheQuin. You might get in touch with him sooner that way. That is how I first reached out to him when I won.

And now, some unsolicited advice, which you are free to ignore if you'd like. When you receive your winnings, withdraw them. Your previous messages suggest that you have a problem with gambling, and that typically doesn't end well (ask me how I know).

Congrats again, and good luck!

He or she wagered 553.58634500 bitcoin during contest round 58 (April) and 12.09879000 bitcoin during contest round 59 (May). This accounts for a total of 565.685135 wagered, which corresponds to 113,117 golden tickets.

Where the other 153,145 golden tickets came from is a bit of a mystery, as they did not place in the top 10 during any of the other monthly contests. They either bought them, which makes no sense (why would you pay millions of dollars to win $200K?) or won them on the wheel of fortune, which seems highly unlikely (you would need millions of WOF spins to win that many tickets).
Thank you for those insights soslex I was wondering if you were still gambling at Freebitcoin. Do you have a personal hypothesis to explain the mystery of those "missing" 153 145 golden tickets ? Is it possible for him to have been outside the top10 in the other monthly contest rounds, like at the 11th or 12th position and to have been able to wager the required amount to get all of those tickets.

Hello friend. I'm still around. I had just under 14k golden tickets in the previous round, which gave me about a 1 in 113 chance of winning. Nearly all of these were earned by making large bets on the rugby world cup, like this one, in the France vs. Namibia match:

https://imgur.com/a/MGRULEe

Some people might think it's crazy, but from the premium membership cash back, reward points, daily jackpots, and monthly contests, I was able to make ~1.8 bitcoin by betting on a few rugby matches. These matches were never going to be close, either; in some cases I was betting on a team that was the -100000 favorite on other betting sites (meaning, if you bet $100,000 on France, and France wins, you make $100).

Anyway, the long answer your question is, I still can't figure out how the winner got those additional 150k golden tickets.

You only get golden tickets by (a) wagering, (b) buying them, or (c) winning them on the wheel of fortune. So they either wagered a lot, bought a lot, or won a lot on the wheel, or some combination of the three.

In the other 4 monthly contests, they would only be able to wager ~10 bitcoin without showing up on the leaderboard. So, it is possible they wagered 40 extra bitcoin during the other 4 months of this lambo drawing. But that would only be 16,000 golden tickets.

Given that you have ~0.1% chance of winning a golden ticket on a single WOF spin, you would need millions of spins to win that many golden tickets. It is not possible to get that many WOF spins in 6 months.

Buying 100k golden tickets would cost 250 bitcoin. Nobody is crazy enough to do that.

So the short answer to your question is: I'm stumped.

Well, it's no surprise that this user became a winner, as he had 17% of the total number of gold tickets. Honestly, it's crazy that one user had more than 266k tickets because it also means that this user probably wagered about 1331 BTC to get that many tickets, or he just bought them for ~66 BTC. In that case, winning 7.44 BTC in the Lambo lottery is just a consolation prize for that user.
It's another time when Lambo has been won by one of whales of Freebitco.in. It's nothing surprising, considering how big % share from total tickets he had. It's very unlikely that he bought so many tickets or in other words spent 66 BTC to win 7.44 BTC. So yeah, as you counted, he simply wagered crazy amount of BTC and got tickets in this way.
I don't have access to stats, but it's interesting in these 9 rounds so far, how many times Lambo winner was whale and how many regular user with normal number of tickets.
He or she wagered 553.58634500 bitcoin during contest round 58 (April) and 12.09879000 bitcoin during contest round 59 (May). This accounts for a total of 565.685135 wagered, which corresponds to 113,117 golden tickets.

This is doable? Damn I did not know such programming is doable that can fetch the email data and play a free roll from WOF. That’s really enthusiastic to know but yes obviously having the same from unknown source or someone who bult it for no gains could be terrifying.

I don’t know, I have not checked the link and don’t even want to try it out. I already seen such fake bots all the time and there is always red flag from McFee WEB Antivirus to such links. So anyways we could not even open them if they are suspicious.

Just out of curiosity, is this even legal?
For example, isn’t it is against the will of freebitcoin Website itself?
If it is doable what safety feature does freebitcoin can implement technologically?

Using bots is not allowed, no. I was going to point you to their terms of service, which clearly state that bots are not allowed, when I noticed that their terms have gotten a pretty big overhaul recently. You are not alone.I am playing here since early 2014 and I never hit the 200 dollar prize ever, also I never hit the weekly lottery also while having a good decent number of tickets most of the time and some weeks I intentionally have not used all the WoF spins in order to have a smaller number of tickets as supposedly you have more chances by having less tickets and still never got it.

I don't know where you would have heard that having less tickets gives you a higher chance to win, but that is certainly not the case.

Depends on the person. Mine is more about 42 satoshi per roll, which is 6 times higher than the original and that means 12 cents per roll. I agree that even with that and even if you set an alarm and wake up and do 24 times a day, that would be nearly 3 bucks a day, so that means 90 bucks a month. I understand that may feel like it is not really a huge amount of money and I agree it is not really a huge one if you think about it that way.

The base reward is 0.2 cents/roll, not 2 cents/roll, so if you are getting 6x the base reward, that would be 1.2 cents/hour, not 12 cents/hour. As a result, all of your math is off by a factor of 10.

This must be some kind of record for freebitco.in:

https://imgur.com/a/77w6Cmn

500+ bitcoin wagered within 25 hours. At yesterday's prices, that's over $15 million.

He or she earned 100,000+ golden tickets, 100 million reward points/lottery tickets, and the lucky person who referred them received over 2 bitcoin commission. Had they waited for the 5x reward point bonus, they would have received 500 million reward points, which they could have cashed out for 5 bitcoin.

As all eyes turn to the eighth lambo round, I'll admit I'm a little sad that my user ID will no longer be displayed on the lambo page on freebitco.in. Only 33 tickets for me this round, so I'm not too optimistic about my chances here.

In a few hours someone else will get to experience what it feels like to win a life changing amount of money. I do hope it is someone from this forum. Good luck all.

Sorry to freebitco for saying this, but honestly, for me personally, I think the multiply bitcoin is one of the worst game I played on freebitco, I've played this game several times and each of those, I ended up losing all my bitcoins instead of actually multiplying it as it is in the game title😂..
Can't remember when I played it last, and I don't think i wil ever, I will rather bet with my bitcoin or join the lottery, I prefer those to multiply btc.

To be fair, you are still multiplying your bitcoin, you're just multiplying by a number less than 1  Wink

I am not surprised at his confidence in freebitco though, we all know that this is one of the longest running bitcoin faucet, which also have turned into a casino, and I have no doubt that the platform will continue to run for a very long time from now as well, I just think that 0.97 bitcoin(and still counting up) is an expensive free money.

Freebitco.in tells you exactly how they make their money, and they are still standing 9 years after they launched, through bull and bear market alike. Meanwhile, more "trusted" institutions, like Blockfi, Gemini Earn, Voyager, Celcius, gambled away their users funds and have closed their doors and disappointed those who trusted them.

Of course, with a large interest like that, he needs big capital, if I'm not mistaken, he was the winner of Lambo before, it looks like he keeps all his bitcoins in FreeBitcoin, I also believe in FreeBitcoin because they have been operating for a long time since 2013, so maybe he really feels safe. save money on this site.

You are not mistaken.

Wow, you earned 1 bitcoin only in the form of Interest, that's incredible. By the way how much amount you have in your freebitco account and in how many months and years you have managed to gather this much amount ?

I won't answer the first question, but I opened my freebitco.in account at the end of 2017 and have had a significant balance in it for approximately 5 years.

Showing off my total BTC earned through daily interest on balance. A friendly show off just to see how much others are earning.
I am not holding much in my freebitco.in account but over the years it has given a decent amount without even noticing it. LOL.

How about you guys ?

Same, not much either. Eventually somebody's gonna come along and flex off the 0.01 BTC or even more while casually saying just chump change, who knows Grin

Well, I was going to wait until I hit the magical 1.0 bitcoin interest earned, which I expect to happen by the end of the month, but you asked, so I'll post a little early. I do not consider this chump change  Wink

Rolex? 1 in a billion? Yeah, why not?
It may worth mentioning that, the chance of winning the $15,000 Rolex is even lower.
Every time you spin the wheel of fortune, a random 8 digit hexadecimal number is calculated and is converted to a decimal number. That's divided by 4.294967295 and then rounded down to the nearest whole number.

The only 8 digit hexadecimal number that can give you 1 billion is FFFFFFFF. This means that the chance of winning the $15,000 Rolex is 1 in 4,294,967,295.

That's interesting, I didn't know this.

I believe the maximum number of WOF spins you can get each day is 238 (someone please let me know if I'm missing any):

16 if you have been a level 7 premium member for 360+ days
2 emailed to you (1 promotional email, 1 daily wagering stats email if you've wagered >500 sats  that day)
100 from the "Exchange RP for WOF" option
120 if you redeem the 5 WOF spins / roll reward and do a 24 free rolls over the next 24 hours

Based on the 4.2 billion number you gave, if you get 238 WOF spins per day, you will, on average, win 1 rolex every ~49441 years

It would be helpful if it were possible to check on personal stats tab how much satoshis have been wagered on the account so far.

If you've never claimed a bonus before you can see how much you have wagered on the site by going to the multiply tab. At the top of the page you'll see a message: "You are eligible for a bonus of x.xxxxxxxx BTC for playing MULTIPLY BTC! Click here to claim your bonus."

For every 100 satoshi you wager on dice or betting, the bonus you are eligible for increases by 1 satoshi. So, multiply the bonus you are eligible for by 100 to see how much you've wagered in total on the site. Again, this will only work if you've never claimed a bonus before.

So we need someone to answer this question who has won the weekly lottery do they get email notifications of their winnings.

I don't mind if I don't get notified about lottery winners because I can still see them on the freebitcoin site live, but if I win getting notified by email that's even better

Yeah, they do email you.

This was a long time ago but I believe my email was only subscribed to payment notifications.

Anyway, I was under the impression the time weight multiplier always gave a boost to the final outcome odds, it just gives less of a boost to those who bet late.
If that was the case, the house would lose money.

Assume that there's a match between teams A and B.
All the money that has been put on team A is 100 BTC and all the money that has been put on team B is 300 BTC. You have put 0.01 BTC on team A.
The total money is 400 BTC. 5% of that 400 BTC goes to the house and 95% of that goes to the winners. So, the prize pool is 380 BTC.

Team A wins the match and they should give your prize.
Assuming there is no time weight multiplier, you will get 380 * (0.01/100) = 0.038 BTC

If you have placed your bet early, you will get more than 0.038 BTC. Ask yourself where does the extra money come from.
The extra money comes from those winners who have placed their bet late.
If the house increase the winning amount of those who have placed their bet early without decreasing the winning amount of those how have placed their bet late, they will lose money and that's not possible.

Thanks for the explanation.

I think the extra money that you're talking about comes from a reduction in the outcome odds. Take a look at a recent event on freebitco.in, for example, the England vs. France quarterfinal game. 65% of the money was placed on France, and 35% on England. So you would expect the odds to be (1.0/0.65) = 1.54 for France and (1.0/0.35) = 2.85 for England. But the actual odds were much less for both teams, 1.31 for France and 2.10 for England.

So, it seems to me that the TWM always does boost the odds, and this extra money comes from a reduction in the outcome odds.

The time weight multiplier doesn't always increase the winning amount.

Assume that the prize pool is 1 BTC and there are 100 winners.
If there was no time weight multiplier, each of the winners would get 0.01 BTC.
The time weight multiplier makes the profit of those who placed their bet early more than 0.01 BTC and those who placed their bet late less than 0.01 BTC.

Are you sure about this? Your example assumes every winner who placed a bet placed the exact same bet amount, which is a pretty big assumption to make. Anyway, I was under the impression the time weight multiplier always gave a boost to the final outcome odds, it just gives less of a boost to those who bet late.

If someone knows the formula freebitco.in uses to calculate the betting payouts, it would be greatly appreciated if they could post it.

That's interesting. But do you have any particular plan for that coins or are they already gone? I mean something like fully "legalize it" (I do not know from which country you are, how it is with taxes etc), but to have legal money and think about your pension? Invest in some government products or something like that? I do not know if 5BTC would be enough to invest in real estate or sth, but maybe buy something for rent, to have extra income?

I would also like to know this! Winning 200,000$ is a very nice amount but wouldn't be sufficient in my country to retire already. When you would withdraw all your money from an exchange to your bank account, you will probably need to pay taxes on it also (depending on the country).

It is certainly not enough for me to retire either. I will have to pay taxes when I withdraw and convert from bitcoin to fiat. I have not cashed out anything as of yet. I will likely wait until the next bull run to cash some out and buy a house.
