still holding some darks Smiley

nice!

I m holding 1.5 month now, i ve only sold 100 to jump in other coins train.

mintpal is "sleeping" now, minimal activity, everyone is holding and waiting.

Or has darkcoin matured to be one of the big coins!! Because the market is acting like this.

DarkCoin is the future.  All the other anonymous coin wannabes are proof of that.  Everyone wants to have an anonymous coin, but DarkCoin is the first and the best.

And this is only one reason why bitcoin needs to be replaced.

yup. i got into crypto's late last year, but from my analysis i deemed bitcoin and PoW a bigger risk than anything else. Proof of Stake was a nice alternative but Nxt's launch and ipo was less than ideal. pos also poses its own problems, namely that of whales and hording.

this is why NEM intrigues me the most - the proof of importance (that i prefer to call proof of interest) if, comes to fruitition, will really cause a stir the crypto world needs. we need to encourage spending, not hording; POI is (so far) the best bet for this. this really CANNOT be understated and for the sake of NEMs longevity it would be good if we think of ways to enhance the POI method to better accomplish this.

The money needs to keep flowing and moving to make a currency viable. FIAT accomplishes it by printing that leads to inflation/deflation with all the associated dire risks.

PoS is definitely a way forward.  Does NEM have transparent forging?

Don't you mean POI?  (proof of importance/interest?) not POS?

Si.  typo.  I fix.

So looks like we put our eggs in the right basket, damn, we're geniuses:
DRK: Booya
XC: Scam
Monero: Bloatation
ZeroCoin: Not trustless
NeutrinoCoin: Scam

I'm pretty sure XC is not a scam. I believe the dev is honestly trying.

XC is complete scam.    For those with enough technical knowledge it's pretty obvious. What his proposing is utter nonsense and impossible pseudoscience.

I am confused too, but I think 1:50 sounds like a good exchange.

So, I confirm that I will send 10000 NXT for the 500000 NEX.

keep me updated on the progress.

How does that work?

Did you see this?

A data breach at Target Corp that exposed the credit card information of tens of millions of holiday shoppers was a major black eye for the retailer. In its wake, investors and analysts are circling companies that could benefit from a major upgrade in credit card technology. …

Silk Road Bitcoin Stash To Be Auctioned!

http://www.foxnews.com/tech/2014/01/17/feds-to-sell-28-million-in-seized-bitcoins/

"The U.S. government announced plans to sell a whopping $28 million worth of bitcoins, the volatile digital currency that’s taking the Internet by storm.

Bitcoins are a form of currency, like the U.S. dollar, the British pound or the Indian Rupee. But Bitcoins aren’t tied to any country or even to physical paper or coins at all. Instead, computers “mint” them according to complex algorithms, adding a new coin to a database at a slow but steady rate.
