I'm going to throw in my agreement with the above posts.  Not joining the bank run and staying with you until you decide to completely close up shop.

Just wanted to throw in my say.  I'm going to have to agree that a tiered fee does seem like a bad idea, for the same reasons already stated.  I also feel that .40BTC is too high a price for the upgrade given the way the market looks currently.

So if we got rid of the tiered pricing and moved to price to .30 BTC, would this be an acceptable change along with the 90% PPS?

I find this acceptable.

Keeping an eye on this.  Looks promising, and I like how much trouble you're going to to try and be as open as possible and do what your investors feel would be best to optimize the bond.

So you're planning to gradually wind it up entirely?

I hope not. I have enjoyed the service Patrick has provided: Send a PM and done.
I like the weekly updates that show how my BTC has grown. I also like the updates that show where the entire operation is . I find it interesting how my deposit, along with others and help other people in the form of loans.

So, if I had a choice, I would choose to keep my deposit with Starfish. But I understand that situations arise, and tough decisions need to be made.

I agree, if at all possible, I'd like to see Patrick continue this operation (even if it's on a smaller scale), but I do understand if he does feel the need to close things out.

Isn't BFL selling singles for $600 a piece right now?  Why the $350 premium for a used single?  Huh I feel like I must have missed a memo

Man, the new guy that just brought almost 12MH/s online killed my earnings per block.

In theory when people do that we solve enough additional blocks for the payout to stay the same over a given time period.  There's still some luck involved, but the more hashing the pool gets, the more stable the payouts should be.  So I guess the more the merrier.  Wink  At least until the server falls over.  heh.

That was my understanding, but it's just kind of demoralizing seeing that number drop by so much in such a short amount of time.

How many confirmations is the exchange going to want before accepting a deposit?

EDIT: Nevermind, decided to do a test deposit and saw the status on the site "2/10 Conf"  Thanks for giving that info, I like knowing for sure that the system sees my LTC coming in and being able to estimate how long it will be before I can use it.

Not sure how this would work or anything, but would it be feasible to have some sort of way to integrate your pool into this and maybe buy shares directly with balance from pool, thus not having to pay a fee to withdraw?

It isn't a big difference, so it wouldn't really matter all that much in the grand scheme of things, but just thought I'd mention it.

Who knows, chances are what he says is different to what people think that means and also different from what he wants them to think he means... so we know nothing :p

ya but, does he know that we know that he knows we know?

lol
I think he knows what we think we know, but i don't know if he knows what we know he knows we don't know.

I know that I'm lost now, but I don't know anything else.

Is there a minimum deposit amount or a minimum balance requirement?  I'm guessing not, just based on the balance sheet, but thought I'd ask just in case.

Just wanted to say, thanks for the honesty and openness with how you're running things.  Sometimes people don't ask for information in the nicest ways, but you still provide an answer to the question.

That was a large factor in my choosing to invest my small amount (in the grand scheme of things, large amount for me though, haha) in your fund.  The reputation you have with others also played a small role, as well as your willingness to provide verification that you are who you say you are on the exchange.

I'm happy with what you are doing, and excited to see how this upgrade to Teramining goes.  Best of luck to you.

Yeah, actually I built a site to do LTC based stocks at http://litecoinglobal.com and soon will be announcing LTC-MINING.LTC that will be listed there.  People holding those shares will get dividends paid in LTC.  Smiley

It's in public beta now, but there are only a few things left to develop before I take it out of beta.  The cryptostocks guys were watching the litecoinglobal.com development threads and beat me out by a couple days, but I have a good feeling about Litecoin Global.

Cheers.

Looking forward to LTC-MINING going live on Litecoin Global.  Signed up for the beta today.  Hope it turns out to be fairly popular.
