wow, good to see so many recognised names. I stopped mining due to a combination of noise and cost - my wife finally "persuaded" me to tidy up the spare room so that my son could move in, and of course it was uneconomical to mine for a while...

RE: payout history - what are you looking for here?  you mean personal payout history per user?  Im not sure people want their payouit information publicly available?  Huh

I'd like to see my payout history under my account details, purely for my eyes only.

The amount donated to date should probably be emblazoned across the top, next to the pool rate/workers etc. as this is important information.  Grin

When i say that we define a round as periods between payouts i meant this ONLY for the purpose of generating statistics.  CERTAINLY NOT for calculating payouts.

Clarified perfectly for me. Thanks.

basically we define a round as the period of time between payouts so you won't see round stats change till we hit 120 confirms on this first block.   each 120 confirms a payout is done and the round officially ends...

that is horribly useful for pool hopping. I could have had my miners pointing at another pool generating small regular amounts of bitcoins then as soon as you receive your 1st block I jump on MMC to grab some shares for the 17 hours or so it takes to accept 120 confirmations on a block - reducing the work that has been done by the people in from the start?  Undecided

It's in "account details", perhaps it deserves a separate page, though.

Maybe it only appeared the moment I pointed more than one worker at it, but I just never noticed it before - as mentioned, maybe I never scrolled down enough.  Cry

Sort of a feature request ;-) Can you show under "Workers" the last time that a worker connected to the pool?

+1

(either you did a great job adding the workers page, or I'm dumb and never noticed it before - but it's certainly useful)

Thinking of doing something bigger with this and while I'm certainly competent enough to parse your output I have to ask anyway... Any chance you could add another flag to give the -r output in JSON?

+1 for JSON

I'm quite new to deepbit, I had my workers set to PPS, and all I seem to be seeing is:

27 Jun 2011 16:32:57
308 / 4554436
262.206 MH/s
+ 0.00000000 BTC

ie, I've not made any BTC from deepbit in the last 24 hours, even though I'm pumping about 300MH/s into it.
PPS reward is not shown in the history column and on the stats page.
Your balance will just increase every hour.

Thanks. I hadn't properly been keeping track of my balance, but at least I know now Cheesy (doh)

While artefact and sweetspot would be harder to implement, a looping display of the -r output, with the possibility of increasing fan/reducing overclock depending on temperature would be very useful; would also be a pain in the backside to code via scraping output.

Thanks for a super utility, well worth the price paid.  Grin

the problem is that the hashrate over clock is quite nonlinear. I am quite certain that in some cases slightly lower clockrate increased temperature on my system and that lower core clockrate sometimes results in  higher hashrate. This topic needs a lot of investigation...

That doesn't make sense at all, I can see why you're having problems...

It was really cool to have:
1.) a sweetspot finder
2.) artefact and temperature limited overclocking control = permanent optimization

I thought about these functions quite a bit but it would take a lot of time to implement.

I understand the restrictions due to spam etc but it would be great to have someway to post to a topic still but it needs approval or something to show maybe from someone on that topic or something?

Spam will always get through as people always seem to find a way with it. having people that make the topics moderate their own topicand not allow new members to post new topics for a while way work.

it's possible with the massive influx of new users that this would simply take too many man hours.
