way to go with new wallet.. continual error loading database. Even when I delete the entire contents on my drive and do fresh with new wallet.. goes to shit

and just like that 2 months of work gone.... resynced today, was staking etc.... had issue with hard drive and now all work on sweep gone. I cant do this again for 2 months. ill take the loss of sweep....

That is seriously disgusting for a network to be running as doggedly as that.
We have been testing the new codebase/wallets of the replacement for SWEEP, SSC codebase, and that syncs within minutes and is based on the BitCoin 0.20.xx code. So syncing issues will be a thing of the past when we swap.

well its been almost a month and it was at 89% synced then everything stopped working and now the sync is gone and I have to restart. This really is kind of ridiculous. i guess ill just lose my 1.4 million sweep.

so I downloaded the new wallet Verge Leviosa version v6.0.2.0 (64-bit), my previous one was wraith 4.0 I believe. I have 0 active connections to the verge network. I downloaded the database so I'm only 13 days behind but with 0 active connections It will not complete. I looked through the forum and followed some suggestions, i.e. deleting peer.dat but still not fixing the issue. Its been over a year since I've done anything with verge so im trying to catch up. Any suggestions on getting this fixed? anyone have a current peer.dat file they can share so I can see if that fixes the issue. Thanks
start your wallet with --dynamic-network, that will search for both tor and regular peers.
so just start from CMD prompt i.e. D:\verge\verge-qt.exe --dynamic-network ??

Probably plenty.. that's their issue. I guess they haven't ever heard of the Stock market, where plenty of people buy hi and sell low. Not everyone can make money on their individual investments. You need to do your own due diligence no matter what your buying/selling/investing/mining....

it's hard to tell if you will regret investing, since so many variables exist which can effect the price (not all of which are based on rational decisions given the nature of cryptocurrency and altcoins to date). whether you regret something or not also depends on the timescale you are looking at in terms of making a possible profit.

10 Watercooled Corsair 1080Ti's $650 each
6 Asus 1070 350 OBO
2 MSI 1080 400 OBO
7 EVGA 1070 Ti's 400 OBO
5 brand new 8 slot boards $150 OBO version 1's I think I never used them. About 6mo old just sitting on the shelf.
Cards used for about a year some less. No problems no issues.
You can pay for a middle many no problem with that.
Don't have pics yet, that's why everything isn't on ebay yet. Once I do get around to going over to my warehouse and taking pics everything will be up on ebay.
I suggest you grab everything now. Also have all the CPU's ssd's ram MoBos etc. Just make an offer. I probably won't refuse. Don't really want to deal with the hassle of listing it all. But once I do the prices will be market prices since I'll actually have to work lol.

After years of mining I'm in the "boring" category with nothing good currently to mine or that I can find on the horizon. Anyone have anything good they are mining I might have missed or coming up? I'm sure there are others out there who are starting to feel the same...
Nothing is really good to mine now specially with GPU and Altcoins. The ASICS already invaded Equihash algorithm. The good thing to do now is to sell the GPU's or find another way of making money into it.that's how I've been feeling. Was just curious if anyone had any good "mining" coins out there I might have missed. I don't CPU or ASIC mine anymore, that shipped sailed a long time ago. I was using my GPU's and rather enjoying finding new coins to throw them at. Now, it just seems no matter how much I look for one, I cant find anything interesting and not ICO related. thanks
