Usually for long term tracked payments (if they can be revoked - eg: user cancel suscription before 1 month) you can either delay rewards or if reward is immediate and final (but your earnings are paid on the first of each month, for example) you could get it out of your own pocket/have extra funds available.
A membership portal with various merchants available with variable cashback per $ spent or per completed offer would be great.
There are also the "earn free reward" networks with extensive API which offer various offers like surveys or subscriptions (the kind power free facebook credits, free Kreds on Kongregate's gaming portal, free gold, coins or any website's currency. Those could also be applied to reward members but with bitcoin rewards that can be cashed out.

You are really helping me sort this out I appreciate it. What I might do is reach out to some handpicked vendors i.e Coinabul below vs. just going with some API/affiliate system . I can find some online shops and see what they say. I really want this to be clean and straight forward none of the survey/offers to fill out just rebates for bitcoins. I just got some ideas how to do this working it out now.

I believe traditional point rewards programs working like this can make big $$$ on this (and merchant can advertise with them by offering cashbacks). Overall, I suppose the multi-merchants tracking system, getting paid by them and then paying members might be quite a task to plan and deploy.
Still, a nice idea for bitcoins. Might even get new people interested in bitcoins. If you grow bigger, getting better deals from merchants should be possible and leave you more margins to make actual profit directly.

Thanks, yes I had originally thought of what you are mentioning there ( I erase what I put up top because I realized the affiliate tracking doesn't payout till like 30 days or so .. and revoked like you mentioned below) I believe what I was told is the merchants don't want to hassle of being in charge of bitcoins or something last time I mentioned this ... but the exposure is the biggest thing this offers ...its the biggest bitcoin exposure idea I've seen so far... let me think more about what you said there.

I'm not really sure what your talking about Merchants have been giving discounts/ rewards/ cash back since the begging of time ? this is no different just in bitcoins.
edit: maybe your confused but the discount/sale on a product can be given back in bitcoins

if the merchant offers a rewards back in bitcoins, bitcoiners will start doing business with him.
most bitcoiners use cash, and all of them would like to get bitcoins as a reward for shopping.
but most businesses that have reward point, they give point that can only be spent at their store.
not sure you'd be able to get anyone to agree to this rewards back in bitcoins.
Probably, because bitcoins is expensive to get into for the merchant. Maybe, Mt.Gox redeem might a solution for this. QR code it where someone purchases x item in cash at merchants store they can redeem a couple of bitcents . Dunno...
edit: also, should have mention reward systems are easier to get into as a merchant then a point of sale system or having to re-do their carts ...so there is incentive to offer it .

Been lurking for a few months now and was thinking of opening up a bitcoin service/business whatever you call them these days.
Just bating around some ideas but have on approach I would like to run by you to get thoughts and opinions.
First, I start with the premise that I think we all do ourselves a dis-service by leaving behind the cash world. My goal is to keep the flow of bitcoins and cash going for both. The real goal would be to convert current cash only merchants to include some sort of bitcoin reward, redeem, points system.
So on that note these are some ideas I propose:
1.) Cash Merchants who still sell in the cash world to people but give some sort of rewards back in bitcoins to go spend at a bitcoin sponsored merchants - sort of a trialpay.com kind of take. ( read point 3 for the trialpay.com idea)
2.) Bitcoin Merchants who still offer products for cash but give a little reward in bitcoins for cash purchases ( I know, I know we all want to live in a bitcoin world!)
3.) As mentioned above a trialpay.com sort of approach. Where you buy one product to receive another product you might like.
I know there is something out there that I'm missing but wanted to get this off my chest and out there to the community. I'm eager and ready to do something as I've been sitting on the domain spend4bitcoins.com

Re: Dwolla vs Paxum & MtGox vs Tradehill - for US bitcoiners
I am having a hard time figuring out which is the best course of action for US based bitcoin users who want to partake in buying and selling them. I have done some small trading on https://bitmarket.eu which has been fairly successful and it seems they always carry a higher value due to the fact that they in certain instances allow for paypal which is the fastest method, and since you are using paypal privately with other users for any service you are not technically violating paypal terms. This is I suppose what fuels the higher prices.
I have wanted to get on one of the more major trading sites or several of them but Tradehill forces U.S. users to only use paxum which I didn't like the looks of at all nor the ridiculous fees. I am not fond of going to MtGox either as I'm not sure how I feel about the whole hack/rollback scenario. Some say it increased their security but who knows... and how can they just 'rollback' prices I though once bitcoin blocks go they go? But anyway, I'm sure there are a billion other threads on that.
Currently what are U.S. users doing to get money in and out of USD? It seems like an incredible pain in the boot with excessive fees and middlemen no matter how you go.
Dwolla looks like the only other option but I am hearing a lot of bashing on it as well.
Would just like to hear what some of your opinions are and your "workflow" for converting bitcoins to USD and USD to bitcoins.
For instance, I had some extra funds laying around and I wanted to buy a bunch of coins when it hit the recent low, but there was no way for me to do it because of all the delays.. middle men.. and only dwolla or paxum. Or does Mt Gox take direct bank wires in and out? Is that safe? How do American banks respond? How do they respond to dwolla? Paxum looks a bit too creepy for me.
Experiences and workflow, and some sample amounts of trades and fees would be greatly appreciated.
