I believe you all are under the mistaken belief that it was the woman that was invited to be on the panel. Where you went wrong in your logic is that is was actually her Shoes that were asked to be on the panel. The woman, was simply there to facilitate getting the Shoes there in a timely manner.
Also, you will notice there is a typo on the screen, it should have said Elizabeth Rossiello's Shoes.

Nope. This Wright guy is vain. Look at Satoshi's posts on this forum and there is no sign of that vanity.
That was before the project was a "success" though and there was oodles of work yet to be done. Search the posts and you will find the one that blurs the line.
To me he shows conflicting signs of pride, ownership, honesty, drive, vision and a believed right to privacy.

i think you are overthinking the situation. this is more like a shitty photographer's fault than Coindest releasing this photo with the purpose of removing the woman out of the photo, and it doesn't look like a photoshopped picture either.
No matter how shitty the photographer is, the editor still has eyes and can see the woman is cut out. Definitely a poor choice in photo composition. I wouldn't be surprised if she was disappointed to see that photo was chosen. Bizarre as she is probably the one on the panel readers would most prefer to see.
One could argue, however, that she is more than adequately represented by her enormous name and company name on the wall while 4 of the others are missing in that respect.

Before I knew Bitcoin, i was inspired by binairy art, but in 2011 i've came up with this:

It's a spiral of the binary numbers 1 t'ill 1101100 or in normal numbers, counting from 1 t'ill 108.
Now when you reach number 1101100 (108) it closes itself, when the last 0 (zero) blocks all the 1's inside of it... Actually, it's a nice digital safe, just like Bitcoin... Only never discovered.

To answer your question: We run our own search engine with our own software including web crawlers (spiders), servers and lots of hard work, kind of like "Google for Bitcoin". Though we don't use any technology from Google other than tangentially searching for or investigating new merchant leads by Googling them manually, and usually it's to confirm their acceptance of Bitcoin.

Interesting. Now we can buy 2.5 million things with Bitcoin, but I could not even find anything that can be eaten. It'd be great if we could find something edible with spendabit. Nonetheless, it is still a good search engine for Bitcoin IMO.

All referral redirects from what I can see. If you search for something and hover on the links it has a "r=bitcoin.com" at the end. Its def a step in the right direction
Ref. spam is a step in the right direction? They could have done this without the referral part and it would have been much better.Not sure I understand what you mean by referral "redirects". This is just an id (text string) for our API to associate which Search Partner is submitting the relevant query. It could just as easily be "btc", "abc123" or "Lauda".
