I get why people are skeptical, especially with so many scammy ""recovery"" services out there, and it's hard to trust anyone after being scammed. But not all recovery services work the way you're imagining. Some, like the legit ones, don't hack accounts. If needed, they rely on tracing transactions, protective measures, and even legal strategies. I had a friend who recovered some stolen Ethereum through a white recovery service, so it does happen, though it's rare and depends on timing and circumstances.
Any recovery service who claims to hack the scammer back and get your money back is 100% scammer. I know a some good services they are not recovery services, they call themselves Crypto rescue services. what they do is if you are about to receive a payment in your hacked wallets (lets say your hacked wallet is eligible for an airdrop) what these rescue service can do is that they can help you withdraw your tokens before scammer. they use scripts so they can withdraw tokens faster then the scammers. that is the only thing a rescuer can do for you. there is no way to bring your money back that are already stolen by hackers.Hmm.
I think I might end up just using Firefox or Opera or another browser instead.
I just noticed there is no ad blocker on chrome, so that's hardly ideal when I run on a metered connection. So I guess maybe Opera and its data-saving mode will be useful there too.
My device is already in dark mode but I will see what happens when I use that chrome flag.
Use Firefox then. I am using Firefox too. you can install ublock origin in firefox mobile version and it works like a charm.. never used Opera. so not sure about that.I think I might end up just using Firefox or Opera or another browser instead.

I still remember when I was participating in this Challenge. it took me about 21 Days to complete this challenge but it was really fun to do it. and I actually learned a few very useful things during that time.

It was so obvious a scam but I wonder if there will still be someone so stupid to fall for such lazy scams. There might be people though, our of greed rush into depositing and eventually funds out it is just a scam
Unfortunately yes. there are still many people who fall for such scams that even a 5 years old can tell is a scam. I don't know what is wrong with these people but Greed is a bad thing. it can make anyone loose their minds. I see everyday in telegram and discord groups filled with complains about such incidents happened with them. mostly by fishing websites, they get scammed from them and then turn to official website's servers to complain and ask for help. which is not possible.
that's why I think when someone enters into crypto space he must educate himself properly about crypto and how this space works before making any financial decision.

With stocks, owners can benefit from the company's profits or capital. Profits can be paid out as dividends, and capital can be liquidated or used to repurchase shares.
and so many defi tokens have similar utilities too.
I'm not very expert but to me cryptocurrencies are pretty much assets and I am happy with that.

I have seen some threads where people claim that Bitcoin was created by the FEDs or the US government. Recently, an entrepreneur and investigative journalist, Dave Troy, filed a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request with the FBI, which is aimed at uncovering information about the identity of Satoshi.
What does this Dave Troy gave have to do with identity of Satoshi nakomoto or his where about? in my opinion it is quite moronic and also waste of time.. He gave us Bitcoin and Vanished to live his life peacefully. why they just can't accept this and leave satoshi alone.The FBI responded that "Satoshi could be one or more third-party individuals, and they can neither confirm nor deny their existence". This response simply means that the FBI didn't confirm or deny the existence of any records related to Satoshi Nakamoto.
