Any idea where I can find news or discussion on the development of this project?
I cannot access Dash website for some unknown reason and I feel curious how are people in the position of decision-making doing in order to improve the situation of this coin.
I remember back in the 2019-2020, it was the #25 coin by marketcap, nowadays it is on the 66th position.
Any ideas to get official information from the developers?

Dash devs working hard to push the Platform aka Evolution soon. Hopefully on mainnet before first half of the year even though if all goes well end of Q1. We will see.

I read that Electrum has support for MasterNodes, does anyone here have one configured through it? Does it generate a good return on investment?
Setuping a MN via Electrum-Dash works fine.It enables creating the MN with multisig too.

What are those collateral addresses starting with a 7 ? (Dash addresses start with an X)

Indeed when spork21 is activated, sooner than later all non v16 MNs will go into pose_ban status.
Updated MNs will get the reward each ~7.2 days but the shares you get not anymore till those are updated and rebirthed.
Hope he will appear one day and be active again as it was before.
What temperaturs do you have there? And what PSU???

My wallet and explorer show different balances:

And there is 12.25 in my wallet (dashcore-0.12.1.5-win64).
Also there are strange transactions of > -2 DASH in explorer. But I only did many small transactions of 0.1 - 0.25 in that days...

Probably both amount are correct, and definitly you have 12.25 coins (if the blockchain is updated).
Since in your wallet there are more directions, it seem to me that some kind of change address (do reserch about how it works) has the rest of the coins. This could explain the "strange transaction" too. For that is important to do one or better more backups of your wallet.dat file after EVERY transaction or to know all the private keys of your wallet.
Go to Send window and press Inputs.
You`ll see all your addresses which holds the funds in different inputs.
As Kointrend said after sending transaction you get a change address for the rest.
All your coins are stored inside the wallet.
Make sure to backup your wallet.
