Some of the links are broken on that website. Mostly just keep refreshing the BCT forum for tokens under the Alternative Currencies Announcement main page. Pretty much all of those are ERC20 token airdrops, which are super easy to join and you can start trading them almost instantly on etherdelta. No need to download sketchy wallets or wait for the dev to get it listed somewhere.

There will never be an end to ICOs, even if they do get regulated people will come up with ways to skirt the rules, which is especially easy with something like crypto. We're already seeing it with things like airdrops and bounty campaigns, a way to distribute the coins that is outside of the standard ICO structure.

The first one (eBTC) was maybe an interesting project. Now however it's just become ridiculous, look at the first page of the Announcements! It's nothing but these e coins, sometimes with 2 or 3 versions of the same coin being given out by accounts with only 1 post. They hold onto some coins, give the rest to a bunch of other randoms to get a market going on etherdelta, then they dump their coins for some free ether.

There's a couple satirical projects using this scheme that have come out recently which are pretty funny, but that's the maximum amount of value being generated by these projects, just a couple good jokes.

Honestly if I wasn't so lazy I would do it, hopefully this fizzles out soon though.

There's so many new "e" coins popping up yesterday and today. All being entirely airdropped, all you need to do is send them your ether address and you get tons, they probably not worth anything, but I'm just looking to collect as many of these as possible.

The website might be open again, but I'm still waiting on any improvements to the site/coin. So far all they've done is delisted everything and promised improvements in the coin, guess I'll keep holding until something new comes out.

Agreed, maybe even more! They have a working service, dedicated developers, and a solid plan going forward. I'm counting down the days to the UBI update, then depending on where the price goes, accumulating more.

Definitely plan to hold onto as many coins as possible and keep reading the updates from the devs, expecting some really big things.

It's essentially a way for a coin to immediately "create" a market from thin air. They give everyone a piece, find an exchange to list the coin, most of them also have the community develop parts of the project.

Free money, an instantly created market and community built around it. Sounds too good to be true and it probably is, but might as well gather them in your free time, nothing to lose right? Some of them end up paying off in the end you just either have to get in on the first couple of rounds, or get lucky with a couple of them by holding everything you accumulate.

There's been a pretty impressive spike in airdrop activity this week. Only drawback is that you have to constantly be checking the forum as most of them are time/participant # limited so you have to get on them quick to get anything worthwhile out of it.

Ah hell yeah! Just made a new account on nova exchange! Coinmarkets had nothing going on, so this will be a nice change.

I remember back in the spring when this hit 20k, looks like the mania for it is starting again. Not that it's a bad thing, they've been doing a lot of work on the website and streamlined a lot of the features, and by streamline I mean getting rid of most of it (coins, faucets, exchange, staking services).

Oh well, I'm in, let's load up and blast off.

Musicoin for sure. Got a bunch when it first got listed on cryptopia, and it's how I made most of my initial profit when I first started getting seriously into crypto. The developers keep pushing out high quality updates and just released another major improvement. It really is the gift that keeps on giving and it's nice to know that one of the first coins that I found promising is still going strong.

It looks like they only have Novaexchange listed as a market and there's no link for Coinmarkets. Might be hard to get newer people involved since the registration is still down for Novaexchange.

Plus I'm trying to accumulate some more on Coinmarkets and there's not much action over there
