Thank you for your advice.
Yes, we will submit our coin and credentials for verification by Coinssource, as soon as we are ready with implementing the wallet, logo and website.
We don't have a website yet, we are still mining for ourselves. But that will change soon, I hope.

By the way, if there are any miners reading this, our future website will have the option for you to rent your rigs to other miners and be paid in RIGGS.
So we will aim at expanding the mining power.

HOW CAN YOU PARTICIPATE?

We would like to make RIGGCOIN an honest, professional and promising venture. This is why we decided to hire professional services for every step of its development. We have the farm, but we need a team of trusted and respected community members to take part in this project.

You can invest your time and experience and be paid in RIGGS! This is what we are looking for:
1.   Coder(s)/programmer(s) with experience in developing wallets.
2.   Website designer and developer for creating and maintaining our website.
3.   Graphic designer – to create a logo for the coin and redesign this thread.
4.   Trusted member of the community - to do a vetting of the wallet source code.
5.   Trusted exchange or a member of the community – to host the IPO.

If you would like to be a part of our team, please post in this thread or PM us. You can be paid either in RIGGS or in mining leases.

So in other words, "we" = "I", you have no team yet it seems...
Can you explain what 'YOU' do? except the idea?

You even need a graphic designer to redesign this thread..

Seriously, you are just one guy, with an idea, trying to get as much people on board..
And it seems that you don't really want to do anything except cash in...

Pretty clear to me, you and your invisible team :p

I know this is a self moderated thread so my post will get removed rapidly (that's why i'm taking a nice screenshot first..)

Anyhow, good luck.. ha

Yes, we are a team, but our team does not include a graphic designer. We are just a group of miners and investors, who own mining rigs and have been mining since 1 BTC was equal to 3$.
And yes, for now we have only the idea, which I really think is good and much much better than 80% of the ANN threads of new coins, which are just empty promises with fancy graphics.
And I really think everyone can profit from it.

Of course we can pay for a wallet, for graphic design, website, etc. in BTC.
But I'd like to think of this project as something like a kickstarter campaign.
If you like the idea, you can support it. If you don't, then don't.

Thanks for your interest.
We are going to make money the same way as investors are - by leasing mining power, we are going to be paid in RIGGS. Those riggcoins will then stake, and we will profit from the staking.
This is something like a dump-proof strategy. Investors won't have to fear the developers dumping their coins, because if we dump, we are essentially giving mining power for free, which is a loss for us.

RIGGCOIN [RIGGS] | POS |120% Interest | Backed by mining rigs |

CHOOSE TO BE MINER, INVESTOR OR TRADER

THE IDEA

The idea behind Riggcoin is simple. Cryptocurrency backed by a very large GPU farm, consisting of 300 mining rigs, delivering a total of 3GH/s (X11) , and a website for leasing mining power.

HOW CAN YOU INVEST?

We will host an IPO, where you will have the chance to buy all available Riggcoins (RIGGS). The total amount of RIGGS will be 300, as there will be 300 mining rigs available. The price of one riggcoin will be 1 BTC. If any RIGGS are left unsold, they will be destroyed by the IPO host.

POS INTEREST

Every owner of RIGGS will earn interest on their investment. The interest is 10% per month, or 120% per year for the first year. For the second year, the interest will be 5% per month, or 60% annually. For the third and subsequent years – 12% annually, or 1% per month.

SPENDING RIGGS

All riggcoins can be spent for renting mining rigs on our (future) website for mining GPU-friendly and ASIC-resistant algorithms (X11, X13, X15, NIST 5, etc.). You can rent 10 MH/s (X11 or equivalent) for 1 day for the price of 0.0034 RIGGS. One month of mining with 10 MH/s will cost you 0.1 RIGGS. So 1 RIGG can buy you 10 months of mining at 10 MH/s! Electricity and support included! You will literally own a mining rig, and not just some virtual currency!

WHY SHOULD YOU INVEST?

1.   Because this investment will not be a huge risk, like most of the altcoins in today’s market. In fact, it will even be a secure investment, because you will literally own physical rigs, real mining equipment, not some developer promises for innovative technology.
2.   Because the interest is huge compared to most other POS coins. For example, if you own 1 RIGG for 1 month, the next month you can spend your interest on a real mining rig. You can rent a 10 MH/s (X11 or equivalent) for one month at literally ZERO cost! Only spending your interest, and not your initial investment! So mining altcoins will now be FREE! No more electrical bills, no more heat problems, no more hardware and software issues!
3.   Because this will be a limited-edition, multi-purpose altcoin. You can mine with it, you can trade it or you can invest even more and earn interest on it!

WHO ARE WE?

We are a group of miners and investors, located in Europe. Together, we form a large industrial-size GPU farm consisting of over 1000 GPUs.

Help us do this right!

I have the same cards with the same problem.  On slot 1 pci-e 3.0  card runs 12 degrees hotter than the other on pci-e 2.0. Voltage is locked unfortunately. I hope we find a solution soon.

Hi. I noticed that recently there have been a lot of invalid blocks here on Slush.
Is that normal or just bad luck?
What is the average number of invalid blocks for, say, 30 days?

Thanks!

Thanks to all for their advice.
I just returned it as faulty and am currently waiting for a replacement card withing two weeks.
I did a Furmark stress test on both cards separately and it was clear one of them was not OK, so I decided not to take chances with it.

I just hope they improve the miners for the new SDK 2.6, so that 79xx cards mine faster.

Both are Gigabyte R797OC.
I just bought them yesterday.

Here's what GPU-Z shows when I mine with both at the same time:

OK card
12 V  11.69
VDDC  1.029
MVDDC  1.602

HOT card
12 V  11.88
VDDC  1.068
MVDDC  1.602

I don't know if that's good or not.

OK, I agree.
But airflow is not the reason for this problem.
I tried the cards one by one. And the HOT card, even with the other removed from the case, still reaches temperature around 90C.

By the way, I tried DiaKGCN kernel for Phoenix miner. It gives about the same hashrates as CGminer.
But I have the same temperature problem even with Phoenix miner. Sad((((

The fans are controlled by Catalyst Overdrive. Fan speed is 100% when mining with CGminer.
I also read that Diablominer is best for 79xx but it seems it doesn't work for me. With the two 7970s I get only 60 mh/s.
The case is open, airflow is fine, room temperature is low.
Isn't it weird that one of the cards stays cool, and the other gets hot?

Sorry, forgot to mention I'm running Windows.
I don't think there's a windows version of "hashkill".

Mining on 7970, please help!

Hi.
I'm trying to mine on two brand new Gigabyte 7970s, OC version.
Diablominer gives me about 30mh/s per card.
CGminer gives me about 550 mh/s per card, but one of the cards gets really hot (above 90C). The other stays around 65C.

I tried removing the OK card and using just the HOT one. Same thing - goes above 90C. I tried messing with Intensity in CGminer, it worked, but I lost about 200 mh/s.
Then I tried mining with Diablominer and the HOT card worked fine, with temperatures around 65C. But again I get only 30 mh/s.

Please help me, because I cannot post anywhere else on this forum.  Cry

Thanks very much!
Nik
