Looks like HazakiYoshimi removed his post. Also, the "Issues" tab on his github page for the fee remover seems to be disabled, so we can't leave comments. Also, all he's published on his repo is XMR miners and coinhive. Seems like that is all used for backdoor monero mining.

I haven't had the ability to test this fee remover yet as I don't want to infect my stable miner. Anyone else had a chance to test to see if it really works? Seems a little odd a newbie account with 1 post would so nobly provide us a windows version.

EDIT: VirusTotal is reporting "Win32.Trojan.WisdomEyes.16070401.9500.9873" in addition to "a variant of Win64/CoinMiner.IJ". The "a variant of Win64/CoinMiner.IJ" warning also appears for the original DSTM miner.

That looks promising. Do you know if you can get it working with a tool like multipoolminer?

I agree with the other poster, what about individual donations or other forms of compensation? Those of us with 6-8 cards rigs are better off paying the 2% fee to dtsm instead of donating a huge amount to remove the fee. Also, it would need to be open source and work with platforms like multipoolminer.

There are a lot of people posting fee removers for various miners on github, but they have no trust. I can only think of the one claymore fee remover that is open source and a ton of people test and post back that it is working and to be trusted.

If you go the route of multipoolminer and make your software open source, you could add your own fee like they do. Then people could leave your fee as they wish as a donation. That would make you long term residuals while allowing people to make a choice to donate to you. Your fee remover would be around for years.

This whole thread is rather entertaining. I don't think anyone who can afford to build a $2-4k rig is going to consider living like this. We've got better things to do.

Ok, so how is plugging in your laptop, phone, or toothbrush (as suggested above) not stealing? A hair dryer can use upwards of 2000w. A hotel guest could use anywhere from $0.01 to $1.00 in electricity fairly easily. Would taking 6 showers and blow drying my hair each time for 1 hour in one day be theft? No, you'd just be considered a weirdo.

Why is mining viewed differently? Where do you draw the line on energy consumption? Unless a hotel establishes a rule on maximum power consumption, what is the definition of stealing? One could make the argument that you can max out the breaker on the room for the entire time you have the room booked. As also noted above, many asian hotels only turn on the lights when you insert your room card by the door thereby establishing what acceptable energy use is: when you're in the room.

I love all the people complaining about stealing electricity. While the idea of unsecured rigs and moving them around is the real actual issue, people seem so conditioned to just reply "stealing electricity!!!!!! you are a bad bad man" Chill out, a 6 card rig uses like $2-4/day. In hotels, you're going to stay only a few nights. Big deal....

Wouldn't that be making like $8/day with current prices? I can think of better ways to make $8. Or even $40.

I have used Jaxx temporarily in the past to send LTC for exchanges. Today, using the mac, chrome, and android app, I was able to receive, but the available balance kept showing 0. Even when refreshing, it kept saying "transaction received" and would update the balance, but it was always changing my micro amounts. It made it very difficult to use a service like shapeshift.

Even when I got everything loaded up for the exchange, the green send button did nothing. After 5 failed attempts, I grabbed the private keys and swept the wallet to coinomi and was able to exchange on the first attempt. It was super fast.

Weird because I never had this problem with Jaxx before. I've never used it as a longterm storage; I lost an hour of my time. Probably will never use it again.

Is there a changelog somewhere that shows all the features released for each Claymore version? I'd like to see what is changing from 9.7 to 10.6.

Does anyone's hashrates fall after some time with dstm? I've got 8x1070's and I start around 3,700-3,800 sols and it eventually settles around 3,500-3,600 after about 1 hour.

So yes, the method posted on this thread is linux only. I guess I had wishful thinking that someone could make this work on windows since the other one seemed to for a guy that knew what he was doing.
