Hard to say. There are those who claim Bitcoin was created by the NSA as the ultimate honeypot. The reasoning goes something like this:
1. Bitcoin attracts the criminal element <==prima facie, empirically substantiated, currently held axiomatic.
2. Those attracted to Bitcoin are criminals <==somewhat of a logical leap, but again, shown to be true in 99% of the cases. Remaining 1% are weirdos who like losing money, so who cares.
4. Bitcoin is instrumental in fighting crime by impoverishing those who hold it. <==not life-affirming, handicapping the criminal contingent.
5. What's more, criminals pay for their own demise (arrest->confiscate BTC->sell BTC (to criminals, who else)->rinse->repeat). <==PROFIT!
Bitcoin is best crime-fighting tool ever, Q.E.D.

Because every time they crash the price, they will make a nice profit out of it. Fact is they don't care much what happens next and their only concern is to how much to fill their pocket. Their job is create FUD and spread all the lies and negatively about bitcoin and they work in cohesion to manipulate the price.

They're not bears they're trolls and that's what trolls do all day. I think they're some of the saddest and most pathetic people you will ever meet, though obviously you never meet them because they just sit and hide behind their computer all day. Of course you've never read it but it mentions Bitcoins similarity to gold and gold mining many times. It's a pervasive theme. He also mentions bitcoins fixed supply and how you ought to pick some up as he predicted they might one day become quite valuable as a result.
