And how to buy an address actually? Sombody sent me the website but I had to pay in PASC, and I can't buy PASC without an address..

You can buy PASC on an exchange and hold in their account with your payload and send to the account buying site from the exchange.
Oh jeez, am I stupid.
Gonna do that today, thanks!

What exchange do you recommend guys?

try polo.

If you don't mind using a lower volume exchange there is also cryptopia.

I have downloaded the byteball wallet and chatted with that strange bot, I sent it the signed message but it keeps insisting on me having send 0.001166 BTC to some address. Is that how it is or I am doing something wrong?

Hmm. You shouldn't have to pay anything if you've signed successfully. Did it confirm that you did?

It requires either a successful signing or that BTC fee.

A message alone should be OK.

Ask for help in the byteball thread.

I see another ATH after an $80 correction.

I love this kind of growth.

I see $2300 soon.

After a quick check I found they want facebook identification proof this time around. Either that or you have to put your bitcoins on an exchange in their list. I suppose facebook identification's better than passport scans.

So they want whales to put thousands of coins on Poloniex? That's a jolly tempting offer. With a seemingly unliftable withdrawal limit it'll only take them a few months for the honour of getting their own coins back.

One of the exchanges on their list is btc38, which is Chinese and probably won't let you withdraw your bitcoins after you've deposited them, not even at the rate of poloniex's slow drip feed.

Does Stellar still want KYC stuff like passport scans this time around?

No idea. Did they do that last time? That's not very sexy.

Full moon of each month? Jesus Christ, not that I am complaining about free coins... but this is getting weirder any time.

Yes. I think there are a few distribution rounds left. Maybe another 4-6 months or so.

Participating exchanges (we’ll update this list as exchanges contact us):

Kraken
BTC38
Poloniex
Deribit

Now for the part we’re less excited about.

If you’re not using an exchange, then law requires us to ensure you’re not on the U.S. sanctions list or located in any of the restricted jurisdictions listed above. We’re using Facebook account verification to complete this check.

We know this kind of sucks. Privacy is a top concern for the Bitcoin ecosystem. Stellar.org won’t use your Facebook data for any other purposes and will never post to your account. If you’d rather not share your Facebook information, you can still go through a participating exchange.

Sign a message from your bitcoin address for the byteball distribution. You will get a small drip feed of coins at the full moon of each month provided you don't move your bitcoins.

I second this. There's also Bitcore which you can redeem instantly. Can't remember when the snapshot was taken but you get the equivalent in BTX that you had in BTC at that moment.

Stellar is doing a giveaway of 16 billion thingies based on BTC balances on June 27th.

Does Stellar still want KYC stuff like passport scans this time around? I had no intention of providing personal details like that necessary to claim the last snapshot giveaway I heard of.

Ok guys, I have finally got my free CLAMS, so it was for real. Got 28 CLAMS for the six addresses I could find that were applicable. That's around 100€... Free money I love it Smiley

Btw, I used Just-Dice to do the claim as gentleman posted, after trying several times to sync the clam wallet to no avail.

So.... what other shitcoins can I get for free?

That is kind of effed up though. If you have thousands of accounts you can't hold them past 4 years then or you won't 'own' them anymore.. Hmm...
Guess there will be a huge sell off when the 4 year period comes close to PASC's start.

You don't lose the accounts you only lose the coins. So just move them into one account you keep active. The accounts will stay attached to your private key forever.

hmmm..so accounts are more qualified as a store of value than coins, specially for long term storage because you can store it and forget.

accounts right now i think is more decentralize than coins since they are not traded in high speed exchanges with bots (majority of coins right now is on poloniex).

interesting...we'll see how this turns out long term.

You can never forget the coins. If the account is not active for approx four years the coins will be reclaimed into the ecosystem as a block reward. It is so coins never get abandoned forever.

Too many other altcoins have large percentages of their distributions in addresses that haven't moved coins for years. Nobody can be sure if whales control those addresses, or if the keys to them were lost. PascalCoin is implementing a good solution to that problem, and I'm sure other altcoins will soon copy it.

Ho-Ho we're moving up again.
Well that's nice but I doubt it will push us much further.Just another upwards swing, which a downwards swing will follow imo.
No reason to moon at the moment.
But the day will come. And then we're going to surpass moon easily!

Any idea why the ETF decision gets reviewed?
Maybe this is the reason we moved up? Buy the rumor?

BZX asked for a review and this was the SEC's reply.

Quote
"Pursuant to Rule 431 of the Rules of Practice,11 BZX's petition for review of the Disapproval Order is granted. Further, the Commission hereby establishes that any party to the action or other person may file a written statement in support of or in opposition to the Disapproval Order on or before May 15, 2017."

No doubt Stolfi will make another written statement in opposition to the ETF. There's no point in him bothering because the SEC is only granting a review for the sake of appearances. It's already made its decision.

I don't think the SECs review is the reason we are moving up.

Is there a reason for the pump up to $1270+ besides the bitfinex withdrawals problems? The price has been quite stable lately, and this thread's been quiet. That's usually a sign of an impending big price movement.

Oh man, I get it now. You are mats new account. Exact same spiel.

Nah. He's far too clubbable and lacks the victimisation to be anywhere near being him.

I thought MatDerKater was mat's new account because he posts in mat's thread and writes like mat.

https://www.law360.com/articles/910505

Little or no mention of this? Bitfinex suing Wells Fargo for USDT silliness. I can't say it was an idea that I would've entrusted a vast amount to.

Good luck to Finex. Well-Fargo are slimy motherfuckers. Let's hope they get a fair trial.

Regardless, with time, cryopto is going to destroy institutions like that. They will be made redundant soon enough.

Someone claiming to represent bitfinex made a posted on reddit explaining why they are suing. If bitfinex wins other banks might stop victimising Bitcoiners and Bitcoin exchanges. There's countless threads about delayed wires to/from exchanges. If the courts force the banks to stop closing accounts and delaying wires it might help increase adoption and Bitcoin's price. I hope other exchanges start suing the banks.

I will post here what I said there in /r/bitcoin

Hi, this is Chris from Bitfinex, funds are not frozen. Bitfinex does not bank with Wells Fargo who are simply acting as a correspondent bank. They have chosen to block wire transfers between us and our customers which we are challenging in court. We can comment at more length later but I just wanted to clear up any potential FUD.

If you have any questions about USD withdrawals you can contact us at support. We will be able to say more later once we have a ruling.

For adding to any exchange first needed link to github sources and block explorer.
I think.

It also helps if the dev isn't a newbie. There will be a better chance of being accepted by exchanges in a few more weeks when the dev becomes a junior member.

hi i have a question if sended amount is bigger than 0.00069 btc, my btc will be counted? or only direct amount ?

sended to what?..

sended to adress that i created in chat bot

Send the exact amount the bot asks for. If you send too much the bot might think it's coming from an exchange address.

I suppose in the end you cant remove the human element.

Humans tend towards generalisation, in a way 1000$ is a generalisation.

You cant separate people from feelings.

$1000 is only a bit above 7000 CNY. The Chinese probably tended to 7000 CNY, a bit below $1000, then the west probably pumped it a bit more because it tends to $1000.

Wow, ZClassic is rising quick. Wink

The main difference in ZCash and ZClassic miners is that, those who are mining ZCash, exchange it quickly for bitcoins, while those who are mining ZClassic, have believe in ZCL and keep it up in their wallets.

It's rising because it's a penny stock, miners don't believe in coin, they mine and dump.

Whatever the reason it's more than doubled in price during the last ten days. That's a fast rise.

Previous resistance $800?

I was considering the 24 hour resistance at roughly $840 to $847, but the mood is so bullish I don't think it will go back down. The earlier attempt to dump and keep it below that resistance didn't work.

What's the prediction from you all for the next 12 hours? Slowly back down a little or back on the choo choo?

Normally I would predict it's going back down a little to a previous resistance. However the choo choo is strong in this pump and the honey badger doesn't give a fuck, so I predict choo choo for the next 12 hours.

i reckon a run up to about $4K over the next month

i wish i felt pressure to sell when the price was high, not low.

that said, i've hodl since 2012.

i've seen some shit.

What do you think the high of 2017 will be? Do you think $4K will be it, or do you think higher? This is the first time I experienced it getting close to an ATH so I'm out of my depth.

Personally I would like there to be a vote if this address can be honoured, since I don't think it's beneficial to the network we are creating here. It seems more like they want more of a cash injection into there own project.

Ultimately I believe moves like this will damage our market and make it less liquid and more prone to damage in long term along with holding up a large portion of the network.

If you agree with these sentiments it is very important at this stage to make your voice known.  Cool

I agree addresses containing funds from giant ICOs need excluding to prevent them damaging the byteball market. I searched for the lisk ICO Bitcoin address without luck. That ICO raised 14000 Bitcoins, and waves raised 29636 Bitcoins. If we could compile a list of Bitcoin addresses holding Bitcoins from all giant ICOs it would give the dev the option of easily excluding them all.

Does anyone have links to giant ICO Bitcoin funds addresses?
