Re: I believe centralized coins will eventually win.

All I got to say is look out for Ripple they are proudly centralized and digging their roots deeper and deeper into banks and money transfer companies. I think we need Ripple to drive crypto currency give it the exposure it needs and make more people familiar and comfortable with it. Even NEO which is a huge infrastructure is incorporating centralization to propel itself further. This is not saying that there is no place for decentralization but crypto in the centralized world is a good thing.

Re: I LOVE PANIC SELLERS

Yea I can understand why people panic sell but If you understand the technology and the potential of cryptocurrency not to mention the widespread adoption and implementation that's already happening then you would know that crypto is basically an unstoppable force and it's not a matter of if but when the value will increase astronomically. I believe many people are still coinbase traders so they only hold the major coins on coinbase so they may not be aware of the 10x potential of some of the alt coins.

Yea based on the information I've heard it's money that was made from ICO's and then dumped. Supposedly shifted into BTC but by the looks of BTC also falling it's probably more likely that the Ethereum dump was diversified into other alts as well an maybe some USD tether also. Moving it into other altcoins would make more sense though since there are some really low BTC prices on alts right now.

A nice humble and realistic perspective, however you may not have to wait that long. There are some Alt coins right now that 8, 9 and 10x lower in bitcoin price compared to their all time high. I can see those coins returning to at least 60% of their all time high BTC price withing the next 6 months. Along with that I can see bitcoin going 3x. Do the math and there are coins avail right now that can go 30x in total value vs their current value!!! For example NEO can make a huge return to great and provide big time gains, not to mention the passive income in the form of NEO GAS that you earn while holding NEO.

Re: What strategy we should take when Bitcoin price fall
by

At this point I'm holding because I have allot of good positions on coins and since I hold a variety of alt coins it would too messy to trade them into another coin like bitcoin and the into USD tether and buy back when the price hits the bottom. I did it before it was profitable but I'm good now. And also it's too nerve racking because you never know where the bottom is and at any moment the price could spike and you risk having to buy back at higher price than your original position.

Re: Market indicators indicate a reversal of the bitcoin trend.

Well as of today September 8, 2018 I decided to check the bitcoin price ad it just fell below $6200. I bought some earlier this week when it dropped under $6400 and now I'll probably buy some more. The market is being bled dry to a certain extent but this the kind of thing that just sets up the next bull movement. I'm sure we all remember last year in November, so I'm taking this opportunity to accumulate and hold coins that make me some passive income such as NEO by earning GAS and Kucoin shares has a great set up for their rewards program now, earning Kucoins based on your holdings and the trading volume on the exchange.

Re: Will bitcoin be harder to access in the future?
by

Bitcoin will only become more and more accessible the future as time goes on. I walked into a corner store yesterday in the hood and their was a bitcoin kiosk inside. One of the main draws of bitcoin/ crypto is that you don't need an account or any affiliation with a bank to store your funds. This is a major advantage for people in 3rd world countries for whom banking can be very difficult for. Their may be future regulations and possibly taxes on bitcoin investment returns or money transfers but as far as accessibility there will only be growth and better ease of access.

Re: Just got a little extra money and want to invest in crypto, should I?

Real money is not made by simply putting a little extra money ($10,000) into bitcoin and holding it waiting for the price to spike. The real money is made by taking your bitcoin and buying alt coins at a low bitcoin price. There are plenty of strong foundational coins available at low bitcoin prices. Such as NEO, Ontology, Ripple, Ethos, Utrust. These are coins that can make you times 10 on your investment if not more. While bitcoin will probably only go times 3 within the next 6 months.

Re: Prove Bitcoin is not a bubble

Bitcoin is not a bubble because of one word. BLOCKCHAIN. Because of the blockchain bitcoin is more than just a form of currency. Cryptocurrency can represent a means of automated transfer and also a system of checks and balances and record keeping. There are innovations that have already been made and adopted that take advantage of blockchain tech. From verifying authenticity of merchandise, accurately tracking automobile history (no rolling back odometers), transferring excess mobile data to other people, streamlining and centralizing medical records the list goes on and one it goes way deeper than just money transfer.

Re: WHAT NEXT FOR BTC
by

An approval of an ETF would certainly open the door for a bull run, but even without it widespread Bitcoin usage across the world and a variety of industries along with the support of investors will drive the price up. However this will take some time but I'm still confident it will start rise dramatically before the end of the year and really start to surge in the first quarter of next year once more and more big companies start rolling out innovations driven by blockchain technology and using cryptocurrency on a larger scale. Those that have not yet adopted bitcoin will forced in order to avoid being left behind in the wave of innovation.

Re: Bitcoin must be regulated!

Ok so first of all I see Bitcoin/ Cryptocurrency as a movement and a revolution. A "smarter" form of currency and blockchain as a technology with wide spread application of use particularly interesting is the system of checks and balances/ record keeping that it creates. I don't believe that cryptocurrency can be stopped its widespread implementation is present and growing and developing all over the world and because of that any entity that resists or delays it's implementation will eventually conform to prevent from becoming obsolete and being left behind in innovation.

And yet still, I RISE!!! (Bitcoin Price rises despite ETF denials)
by

What do you make of the bitcoin price resiliency despite ETF denials. Previously any FUD or even rumor of FUD would cause at least a mini panic sale. But now our "sails" are steady. Does this mean that bitcoin has matured to a new level? Does this mean there are factors in the crypto market that make bitcoin a desirable attraction even without ETF approvals? Share your thoughts.

Just check out EHT 6 month bitcoin price chart, if it's at low bitcoin price right now looking at that chart it's a good time to buy. Don't sleep on Ethereum there are still a ton of project dependent on Ethereum and their founder is a genius and way ahead of the curve. Any major growth in cryptocurrency will mean major growth in Ethereum as well.

Solid coins include allot of the long standing coins built on solid infrastructure and solving pain points. I'm talking about coins like Neo, Ethos (Big competition for Coinbase), UTRUST (The PayPal of cryptocurrency), Power Ledger, Substratum, Basic attention Token, just to name a few.

Re: Moving out from litecoin
by
spyda5556
on 07/08/2018, 20:37:37 UTC
So their are a couple of things to consider in making that decision. There are a couple of gold mines sitting out there in cryptocurrency land right now. Coins right now at a very low bitcoin price that expect to see huge GAINS by the end of the year include ETHOS, UTRUST, NEO, Ontology, and don't forget about classic projects like Power Ledger and Substratum, and Basic attention Token is on the potential list for coinbase listing and even if it doesn't get listed it's build with a solid team around it and a very good project in devolving a web browser that eliminates unnecessary ad data and other related things thus improving speed and efficiency for the user.

So you would have to decide if you are more willing to long hold and keep things simple and put 99% of your holdings on one coin or if your willing to diversify and sell the peaks later on in the year and move your money around from one coin to the next when a certain coin spikes.

Also another consideration are coins that provide passive gains and this includes NEO, Ontology but also KuCoin which is an exchange coin (Kucoin.com). These coins can be great investments as they are expected to grow significantly and the steadily earn you rewards that will also grown in value with time.
They have a rewards program that pays out 50% of all fees charged on the exchange and distributes them to kucoin holders in the form of kucoins. They are a popular exchange that lists allot of new coins and often have huge giveaways for top traders of those new coins. Also they have a set plan to buy back 10% of the kucoins in circulation and destroy them every quarter, this will drive down the supply and increase the value per coin.

Very interesting...I'm all for it any area where blockchain technology can come in an optimize performance/ efficiency/ reliability should be explored. All these projects show the value of cryptocurrency and blockchain. It's like building a huge resume soon enough it will be undeniable and when the boom comes it will be rapid and wide spread. When cryptocurrency finally takes off it's straight to the the mood and never looking back I truly believe that. However there are so many projects out there the vast majority of them will fail. The ones who are strongest in a particular area will thrive and the ones built on solving major pain points in a practical efficient easily accessible way will likely have the most success and longevity.

Re: Let's Talk Taxes

In the U.S. they have a way of going back in time to collect tax when large amounts of money go accounted for. So I would be cautious when it comes to cashing out through easily traceable and well known venues like Coinbase. That way you make it harder for the government to just run an automated tax for any exuberant amounts of money cashed out on coinbase.

Re: Old but GOLD!!

For me is Token from exchanger like KCS and BNB. Even though BNB is pretty high right now i think it will rise above $30 in the future.

Yes this is a very interesting concept these exchange coins. When you at it their really some of the few coins that are attached to established companies with a steady source of considerable income and predictable growth. Binance is expanding so rapidly that their potential growth is astronomical. But Kucoin in particular creates and rare investment opportunity with their Kucoin incentive program. For that reason I am long holding Kucoins not only for potential growth of my initial purchase and the growth of my daily rewards but the the anticipated spike in daily reward amounts caused by an increase in trading volume in the future.

Crypto gains without trading on exchanges
by
spyda5556
on 04/08/2018, 01:00:15 UTC
Hi I created this post so that people can share ideas and ways to advance yourself with cryptocurrency other than just buying and selling on exchanges. So this could be things like masternodes for example as an investment opportunity. But I know there are tons of other way to advance yourself in crypto. Let's try to exclude bounty's and campaigns for the most part and stick with ideas of what you can do right now as far as using crypto to create investment growth. This could be easy airdrop opportunities, proof of stake, holding coins that will give certain advantages/ privileges in the future...share your knowledge.
