I havent mined in quite a while, but how is this miner doing compared to claymore? I will be running 2 rx580s for now and since its open source I assume it has no fee? what is everyone averaging on eth with rx 580? thanks in advance

is there another version of atiflash that will display more than 3 cards in a system with the gui? I like being able to look at model numbers and the information there to save and load bios instead of using cmd line

that moment when you find that a gui exists and you just finished flashing 15 cards in the cmd line (some of them more than once).

its not that i cant use cmd line its that i feel its a little more straight forward in case you move cards around...this affects multiple brands/cards instead of rigs with all the same card

I just deleted one of the lower ones, and moved everything down one.

i assume this is in hex editor? would you mind being a little more detailed in that? so like delete the 600mhz strap and move everything else up 1 slot?

It shouldn't matter much if you don't have higher straps. If your memory is clocked higher than the highest frequency strap, it will just use that one. At least it should. Now that I think about it, my Gigabyte would insta-crash if I clocked my memory to 2001, until I added a 2250 strap. Dunno wtf was up with that but that's not what's supposed to happen.

The real downside is that your card's default mem clock will end up using your experimental timings and you might keep soft bricking your card.

For undervolting the core you can try setting the voltage per dpm state but it probably won't go lower than 950mV without identifying the controller and adding some shit in the VOI table. Can't help you with that though 'cuz I haven't gotten to that point in my own modding yet. Still fighting with a damn Armor card with MJR to stop giving incorrect shares at 2150 Tongue I think I have to give up and go down to 2100.

how do you "add" a timing strap?

I have been mining on wifi since I started with no issues. I have a usb extended wifi adapter for 1 right and the other is one of the plug in wifi extenders I have hard connected to my other rig that just repeats the wireless router to a new network name. I will probably build a few more rigs and run them off a switch off the wifi extender.

Also seems that "Keccak" is a real winner on my GTX-1080 machines --they have been sticking to it pretty much all day since the update to Nice Hash enabling it.

Alot of people seem to have avoided the standard 1080 like the plague... but I've been pretty satisfied with mine.

so your go to machine is the T5500 hopefully getting the 875 or 750w factory power supplies from dell, using sata to 6+2 pin connectors and risers and 1060s, 1070s, or 1080s correct? This setup looks awesome I just have a question about the power did you install a power distribution unit kit or all separate receptacles by my calculations if each rig is pulling 600 watts you could put 4 on a 20a breaker or 5 on a 30 to give some headroom? I have a couple rigs setup using the 1200 evga platinum and looking at new housing for the other RX cards I have and these look like good ideas

Hey there, im quite new into mining- I recently started to mine on my gaming PC just for fun and then i decided to build a rig...
So i got all the parts and six rx 560 (as i could not get any better cards due to global shortage)... and that is when my nightmare started.

I run the rig on win10. system detects all the cards with no problem... well after few but i managed that Smiley
but once i start claymore, im done for.
If i got only 4 cards plugged in, everything works fine, but as soon as i plug in 5th or 5th and 6th card, claymore is suddenly able to detect just 2 of them.

I have spent better part of last two days trying to find some solution, but i got nothing. Tried countless drivers, restarted the rig a million times, even tried other miners despite the fact that i like claymore the most...
nothing

If anyone got any idea what could help, please let me know.

do you have virtual memory page file set to 16gb?

Yes, without that, not ecen windows was able to detect cards properly... i suspect crossfire has something to do with this issue, as if i connect more cards, only those two in full slots are working

yes crossfire needs to be disabled double check that for all cards in radeon settings

Ati flash

I have an issue with ati flash. When opening it shows the cards in my system but I can only read details about the first 3. After the 3rd the bubbles disappear and the words are cut off. Does anyone have any solutions to be able to see all 5 cards in my rig? I have a mixture of brands so I can't just flash them all
Thanks!

update to issues I was having with bad hashrate after reboot. found windows was disabling my 570 after reboot had to reapply pixel patcher. also uninstalled and reinstalled 17.4.4 drivers and pixel patcher again. once i did this i noticed the damn taskbar isnt working with left clicks (windows 10) so after fucking with that for a while decided it wasnt worth it and started afterburner and hwinfo and miner. got 570 running at 27.9, 580 at 29.7, and 380 at 20.1 again. for now its staying as is Smiley

I know about the decreased hashrate i have been keeping up with the forum lately. i have a rx 570 and 580 in my rig at the moment. OpenCL crashed on my 570 causing my system to lockup and I restarted miner. before my 580 was hashing at 29.5 and my 570 was at 27.5. now after reboot and OC my 570 is still at 27.5 but my 580 is at 24. could the 580 be affected more? i would think that the decreased rate would affect both? any suggestions?

So, I set up my environment variables in my batch script that look like this:

GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 0
GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100
GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT 100

However, when I actually run the batch file, it's giving me the output below:

'GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR' is not recognized as an internal or external command.
'GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE' is not recognized as an internal or external command.
'GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS' is not recognized as an internal or external command.
'GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT' is not recognized as an internal or external command.
'GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT' is not recognized as an internal or external command.

It never used to do this.  Used to always say "SUCCESS".  The miner however still starts to mine with a hashrate of about 115 Mh/s.  Weird.  I did update to the latest AMD Radeon Software Version drivers 17.5.1, and I've had some intermittent crashes in the past since I've updated to these drivers.  I'm wondering if I should roll the drivers back to an older release?  I'm running Windows 10, and have a 5 GPU system (3 RX480s and 2 RX470s).  Just not sure why Claymore wouldn't recognize those GPU_ commands.  Any ideas?

try setx before each of those in your bat
