In a short-term, definitely banking Alts will change our life sooooon

But, I believe in more various use cases will succeed and be a game changer in various fields.

For example, I'm interested in game and virtual reality companies which are somehow future technologies. But many ppl are enjoying VR games today.

Many game companies are joining crypto war and I am seeking a good use cases.

One of my interest is Mossland coin. This is very interesting project. Mossland is more AR(Augumented reality) than VR since its mobile application will use landmark in real world as target source of game.
Ppl take picture and decorate landmarks they found using a smartphone camera and occupy it, visit it and play it.
Moss coin will be used in the game eco system to trade valuable assets!! That's awesome idea!

Re: Is now a good time to invest in ICO?

I've been searching for ICOs for a few days and there seems to be many cases of scams and hacks which kinda scares me. Obviously, there is no 100% certainty which is going to be a successful one but is there any way to identify which ones are at least going in the right direction? The first one I looked at was Mossland's Whitepaper and they seemed good with solid community. Or should I just buy BTC or ETH? Any suggestions and ideas would be very helpful!

If you find a good ICO, yes.

Today is bear market and I think market will go for bull market soon. If ICO coins are scheduled to list on some exchanges at that time, it will be good opportunity.

Re: Why is Apple App store allowing only a few cryptos? What's acceptance criteria?

Agreed and that makes sense. Apple don't need to allow every cryptos.

But what I am really curious is how some minor cryptos are chosen by Apple's strict rule.
For example, Voxel and Wave are good alts but why not other good alts are still not allowed by Apple?
Hmm, I have to survey for this more..
The only coin I have never heard about is Voxels it is a coins that has a very low market cap compared to the others, maybe they have some interest in that coin or the devs of Voxels are influential enough to pull this move and make their coin very visible, the rest of the coins are fine and are known coins and the majority of the community should be holding at least one of those coins as an investment, what coins would you like to see being accepted and that are not there?

Yes, Voxel is kind of surprising. This brought me to study the coin so far. Btw, Apple is also interested in VR industry.. Noted!

I do not know their official status on this but it seems logical to only accept a selection, there's no benefit to accepting every cryptocurrency, it's unnecessary cost and effort.

Korean exchange Upbit recently updated iPhone App.
Now 15 cryptos can be exchanged to KRW in iPhone App. (Previously only web browser application and Android app was available for KRW to Crypto exchange)

According to their announcement, Apple's App store strategy has strict limit of iPhone application regarding crypto currencies and only 15 cryptos are able to support in App.

Bitcoin, Ethereum, Ripple, Bitcoin cash, Ethereum classic, Litecoin, Dash, Monero, Zcash, Steem, Wave, Lisk, Dodge coin, Voxel and Tether.

Can anybody explain why? And what's acceptance criteria of the list?

This is official notice and you can translate it into English.

Hi I would like to recommend Moss Coin that is a cryptocurrency used within Mossland.
It is a real estate AR game where users can buy and sell their landmarks !
This is a totally new idea and will be a game changer in the market.
Their Pre ICO was ended within 38mins even considering laggy ETH at that time.
They are about to hold ICO on 12th of March. Would be a great opportunity to get some profits. Smiley

Yeah, I've heard about Mossland too. It's Augmented Reality isn't it? Very interesting idea. I think the game can be implemented technically but not that known broadly yet.

There are several coins now circulating in the market related to games and esports.
ESPORTS or ERT token is focused on virtual reality games and esports.
ARENA SPACE is an ICO project with virtual reality platform that targeting to have their business all over the world. (ICO is on going)

Arena Space is actually what I was finding! Smiley
Idea is cool. Let me consider participating ICO.. Thanks

I am interested in game coins personally. Especially virtual reality games.

I read a book named Read Player One. It is based on future world with virtual reality world is over real world. And there is virtual currency over real world currency.
(Mark zuckerberg bought Oculus when he read this book!)

I think cryptocurrency in virtual world would be one of great trend of the future.
Can anyone recommend me some good coins?

How to find good alts? My criteria is production. Any thoughts?

Hi guys, I would like to ask you what's your criteria to find good alts.

My personal criteria is based on whether the company has realistic production(or ability to implement) OR not.

For example, I firstly find if it is REAL company. I find good startups in crunchbase(this service provides list of company funding series and investor info.)

I'm fan of XRP. Of course ripple labs is listed in crunchbase.
https://www.crunchbase.com/organization/ripple-labs
And we can see SBI invest is one of many lead investors.

I always invest alt coins that is listed on crunchbase.
Here my interests and I would like to know your thoughts to find good alts Smiley

Storj : This company is founded 3yrs ago! Team is good and they are working to release actual service that decentralized storage resource sharing. To be simple,
https://www.crunchbase.com/organization/storj
Many seed rounding and one ICO funding.

Streamr : My favorite IoT coin. Of course Iota is mostly successful IoT coin. Streamr is still small and price is very good.(now it's $0.08 at Bitfinex). Streamr got fund last year before ICO. It means they did not start with ICO. They have investors and actual beta products.
https://www.crunchbase.com/organization/streamr

Aventus : London based ticketing service company. I could see they are actually working hard and marketing is also good. Idea is good and they found this company in 2016. Of course there are some ticketing coin ideas. But I would like Aventus since they are London based startup. You know UK is one of mostly hot place for ticketing for soccer and concert.
https://www.crunchbase.com/organization/aventus-systems
First seed funding is from global advisors Bitcoin investment fund

OmiseGo : One of hottest Eth token for banking and payment. CEO's mind is good and they also have potential. I'm surprised that Omise was founded in 2013. 5yrs ago!! I heard that CEO saw potential of Ethereum firstly and he contacted Vitalik Buterin. Vitalik is advisor of OmiseGo. That’s awesome isn’t it? Me? Of course HODLing...
https://www.crunchbase.com/organization/omise-co-ltd
Investors : SBI Asset management.

Decentraland : My favorite VR coin. They firstly got fund by ICO last year. It is for virtual real estate game. I cannot see their clear goal of VR service but I’m a little bit excited for it. Coin in virtual world? cool.. It looks like Minecraft game. I love Minecraft and very looking forward to their main launch. You can test beta app on web browser.
https://www.crunchbase.com/organization/decentraland
Only ICO funding.

Mossland : AR game company Reality Reflection recently proceeded Pre ICO. While Decentraland is based on virtual reality, Mossland is augmented reality game. Idea is simple and cool. People occupy their favorite landmark and install their virtual characters or decoration using mobile app. Moss land is to found ecosystem in AR world. Moss coin will be currency of the world. Interestingly Reality reflection already have some successful VR game products and mobile apps. (For ex, Vmoji is facial emoji Android app which is the same with iPhoneX emoji). At lease I have no doubt of the team’s ability of implementation. But their marketing is not that viral yet.. I'm considering attending to main ICO though.
https://www.crunchbase.com/organization/reality-reflection
Investors : 500 startups, Stonebridge capital

Status : One of my favorite mobile app token! SNT is hot today and they are also successful ICO based company. I’m worried about over shooting of SNT token but I am still HODLing because they have real product.
https://www.crunchbase.com/organization/status-im
Only ICO.
