Hay guys,

I have a small lot of 5V 40A 200W Power supplies. $23 shipped Domestic United States each and accept Bitcoin via Coinbase exchange at time of sale or PayPal via webstore.com. They are listed on EBay and webstore.com. Pictures are uploaded on both of those sites. I do take escrow orders but the buyer must pay fee.

Send me a PM if you want to work out a deal. Shipping is a large part of cost so if you buy multiples I can give you a break especially if you pay in BTC. Have a good day.

Gauging interest in a compatible replacement fan.  Specs on the fan will be almost identical with what you would be able to get on Amazon with the exception of the cord being .45 meters or about 1.5 ft and going to 22 AWG instead of the standard 24.  My hope would be going to a larger gauge cord would give the fan better longevity in a mining environment. Cost would be around $22.00 shipped in the continental USA so not a great cost advantage over amazon but you would get a longer connector cord and larger gauge wire. Please let me know your thoughts concerns or improvements.

Second issue is I do not mine anymore so I would need some trusted members (two) to test out the fan if their is enough interest I can have the factory get to work.

Power line ethernet has its uses but it's limited to hardware that is on the same circuit with each hardware being plugged into proper power outlets without any extension leads, switches, circuit breakers or safety devices between them.

Yup. Much better run a Wireless bridge if the distance is not too great inside a house.

I actually have here a few Netgear Powerline Nano 500 kits that I was sent for eval last year. Huge PoS. In my house it goes from 105MB/s at the router on my 2nd floor to 1.8-3Mb at the receiver in the basement, and sometimes it even disconnects.
No Surgeprotectors plugged in or anything. If you have a house-wide UPS system also, forget about using it.

YRMV though.

Can you just run cat 6 to the outside from the current set up. drill out seal it with silicone to keep bugs and water out go back in to the garage wherever it is convenient.  Set up an unmanaged switch and be up at a low cost? 800 to 600 RPM upblast exhaust fan for the garage may need additional cooling past that.  Would be less then $500 if you can get a refurbished fan someplace.

...

you doing an ip range? or just selected ips? (just wondering if you're covering dynamic PIs, I've been on the wrong side of a stick when someone else has been banned off a site and my IP was in the same range)
You're unlikely to be hit unless you did something ...

i was using a 3G connection at the time, so i probably was part of an IP pool from the isp, that the forum blanket banned..
there were thousands of users on that forum, a reset of connection fixed my issue, so it'll unlikely happen on the pool for dynamic ip range banning.

i still find it funny that people are trying to find a hole to get into the server via the api/front end ...

We’d like to reiterate that our ASIC’s development board design and its software will be published in April. Is there anyone interested in the development board? Or anyone enjoy to use it personalize your miners?

It would be great if we could cultivate some discussion about these documents both to help with future projects and to enable developers to get the most out of them.

Count me in please.  Thanks

Did anything happen with the pool early this morning (~3:30AM EST)?

My SP20 restarted multiple times around that time, I don't think there were any issues on my end.

Did anyone else experience something similar?
Nope, pool hash rate looks ok for the last 34 hours.
No noticeable drop on the graph and no major drop in the log share submissions or pool 1 minute hashrate ever below 2PH during that time (which is logged each minute)

Internet service may have been down for a min or less or so. Check router logs if it's really bothering you. Miner fails over to back up pools thinking primary pool went down. It jumps back after a few like normal.

The Sp20 would have went to failover if the pool was down

Op, how much is shipping normally on all or any of the items listed on your site?

I`m based out here in California, so I would assume its fairly reasonable right?

Not really, $80

I am also based out of California and shipping is indeed $80 when it only costs about $30 to ship a 30 pound package within the state.  You will also be charged sales tax.  With that being said, I've bought from Zoomhash before and their customer service is good.

They are shipping from Washington state.

Fan died after 2 weeks of receiving it.  Zoomhash has told me to go to Bitmain for a replacement and 3 fans is ok.  HM.......................  I have a replacement fan btw but nice call on how you stand by your sales. Was my first purchase from them and unless something changes like price will be the last.

What is the recommended setup for antminer S4.
I readed on dogie review a issue with firmware and vardiff.

miners have :
Hardware Version   3.4.3.0
Kernel Version   Linux 3.8.13 #12 SMP Mon Sep 29 11:13:50 CST 2014
File System Version   Fri Oct 3 18:17:17 CST 2014
Cgminer Version   4.6.1

Update to newer firmware from Bitmain site should give you Cgminer 4.8 and fix some of the problems you read about.
I don’t set anything on this pool diff wise, I let it rip; I have 2 S4s undercooked 1700GH each. Just depends on your electricity rate.  Check the S4 Support thread Page 120 I think has the voltage vrs efficiency graph.

---Edit This pool will give you a custom worker diff based off its speed.

PPS pools are targets for hot wallet attacks etc. and have pool debt rewards unpaid and can carry on during long between times of block solving. 50BTC will forever owe me .282151 BTC.  PPLNS is pool hopping protection.  Large miner can’t swoop in a screw your block reward because it bases off past work contributed usually presented in a shift based form for human consumption.

I always looked at block solving LUCK as pedestrian vs auto accidents.  There are things to mitigate them but they just happen.  If I didn’t find this block does it mean the pool would not have? I don’t know.  I just try to keep my hardware in good condition, pay for a stupid fast internet connection to minimized rejects, stales, and check threads for updated firmware.  SP gear is easy.  Updated the S5s and S4’s cut the HW errors down considerably with CGminer 4.8.  –thanks CK and Kano.

Decided to run a full node, 9 weeks left of catching up.  I am in fairly close proximity to the pools server. Pings are in the 35’s. So maybe it will help in an orphan race.
I have airflow problems with hot weather more or less few weeks away.  Against every fiber in my being evaporative coolers are on the way and will be back mining in a few days.

Happy hunting CK pool.
