Re: Gold backed coins are real??
by
starblocks
on 26/12/2019, 08:31:33 UTC
There are some projects that are purportedly backed by gold but you might be better off investing in Bitcoin which is considered "digital gold" and is definitely not a scam, and you can hedge using stablecoins or assets backed by other collateral such as this

Re: Do you think 40% bonus is too much for early Investors?
by
starblocks
on 26/12/2019, 05:01:28 UTC
It can be depending on how many tokens are reserved for early investors and if there's a lockup period for bonus tokens so they can't be spent immediately and crash the market value of the asset once it lists so make sure to check all of these details to ensure its worth your while investing

In this type of situation you can always use hedging to ensure your portfolio doesn't lose too much value if you have invested in good quality assets and you can always buy back once the market begins to perform better but if you're smart investor a bear market is the time to begin buying up assets if they dip

More illegitimate projects, more failed High Yield Investment Programs (HYIP)'s and more exit scams this will never end entirely so it's best to search for each projects legitimization and viability before investing no matter how good it may appear always do your due diligence before investing

Re: Ethereum: Sinking ship or Sleeping Giant?
by
starblocks
on 26/12/2019, 01:59:26 UTC
It might be worthwhile going with the latter on this topic simply due to the fact there isn't much competition market cap wise for Ethereum from similar platforms and its recent upgrades now give it a ranking of second place under EOS by CCID's global blockchain technology ratings index so there's plenty of potential once the market realizes it

Re: Why are investors pulling out of Libra?
by
starblocks
on 25/12/2019, 10:11:08 UTC
The potential partners you've listed only withdrew their support for the project once they realized how difficult it would be for Facebook's Libra cryptocurrency project to launch in the US amongst other places due to regulatory hurdles, but once these are overcome it should be a success and bring further adoption of these technologies to the entire market

In regards to that list, simply buy anything that's oversold and be prepared for the market to perhaps get a little cheaper in the short term before putting in a better performance next year, so it's an ideal time to invest while prices are reasonable in any of those as they're all good quality assets

Re: How Much Worth of Projects IEO's listing in Exchanges?
by
starblocks
on 25/12/2019, 07:41:21 UTC
If you're seeking to invest into IEOs make sure you check out the projects offered by the larger exchanges like Bitfinex, OKex, Houbi, Binance, and Kucoin etc. as they're likely to have better ROI than the smaller exchanges with better quality offerings and as always DYOR

Re: Altseason Has Almost Arrived For Altcoins.
by

on 25/12/2019, 05:21:37 UTC
The market has been patiently awaiting alt-season for a while now and it looks like Bitcoin has taken the leading position in terms of hype thus far so it'll likely be sometime next year when the top ranked alternatives experience some positive price movements due to a maturing market and more institutional interest

You've listed some of the major topics of discussion and contention for the industry at present with many central banks considering launching their own digital currency (CBDC) and major brands like Facebook entering the foray with their own projects, and this is what's keeping the market afloat for now and we should see improved progress and sentiment because of this from early next year

Re: Are the scam projects killing entire crypto space?
by

on 24/12/2019, 07:01:18 UTC
The only way to stop scams is to stop investing in them and warning as many people as you can via the usual methods like the scam section of this forum and through telegram groups etc. and this will help inform those who aren't aware of these illegitimate projects

by

That's a rather silly idea just to dump them just for that reason because you'll probably find the market won't stay stagnant for too long as we pass this festive season so make sure you don't sell too cheaply if you don't have to as you may find some benefits later if so

Re: Bitmex Research Reveals That investors have lost about 98% Investment in IEOs.
by
starblocks
on 24/12/2019, 04:39:23 UTC
It is normal for projects to depreciate a little once they've listed and there's a period of time where the milestones are being worked on but provided you've chosen good quality IEOs and invest wisely and optionally trade to obtain better value out of your investments you shouldn't be in a losing position overall

If you've been in the cryptocurrency space for sometime everyone has come across scam attempts and this is another one so be vigilant when you are evaluating new opportunities to ensure they are above board and you won't fall victim to such problematic issues

This is a useful resource that lists professionals and developers in the industry for anyone new to the scene to learn more about cryptocurrency from and discover potentially valuable opinions and tips on market movements but as always DYOR and don't necessarily take things at face value
